It went great. Joe is the definition of a professional. I had a broken garden hose valve, and joe followed up multiple times to make sure he got me the rightpart from the manufacturer and then he worked carefully to run a creative line around a tree-infused deck to give me a water spout on the other side of my home. Tip top service. Joe also fixed a thermostatic valve that only gave hot water. Inshort, This is the best experience I had with any home service company. Thank you!

He gave me an estimate to take out my broken dishwasher and replace it with a new one. Thought it was ridiculously high. It was almost as much as i paid for my new dishwasher. Found a plumber who did it for $150. Took under an hour to do. He was a nice guy but couldn't figure how he came up with that number.

the petri plumber was on time and very polite. he even insisted on wearing booties over his shoes. he reviewed an outdoor drain that turned out to be not a drain at all but a pipe with a hole over it. even though there was no work to be done on that item the plumber came with me to another property a block away to fix a garbage disposal. he didn't even charge me above the service fee of $49 plus tax. this was very classy and i would definitely use them again in the future.

The guy who came to the house was named Arsen. He was absolutely great! He did the survey on Saturday, came back and did the work on Sunday. He was professional, articulate, and listened to what we needed / wanted to have done. Although a little pricey, it's well worth it to have it done so quickly, and to know that it was done right. Will definitely use in the future and will recommend to any friends in need of a good plumber.

I called Petri on Monday afternoon. They were very nice on the phone as I explained my problem and had someone here Tuesday afternoon to assess what work needed to be performed. He (Joe H,) was very punctual and professional, explained what my options were, the approximate cost associated with each option and then let me decide without any pressure to choose how I wanted to proceed. Two days later (because I had to notify everyone in my line about the water being shut off), Joe was back, on time, with all the required materials. He worked very efficiently and kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the process so that I would be happy with the work when he was finished. I couldn't be any happier with the overall work and service that was performed.

Scheduled an appointment between 3-5pm; Victor called at 3:10 to say he'd be there in 15-20 minutes... and he was! Expertly diagnosed several problems we had, most of which, thankfully, turned out to be minor and easy to fix. (One requires a specific $20 part, so that wasn't done yet.) (And by easy to fix I mean for an expert... it would have taken me days of trial and potentially expensive error.) Regarding the part, I asked if it'd be cheaper for me to buy it, so we googled the part number and added it to my online cart. There was absolutely no pushiness for me to buy the part through him. Once it arrives, I'll just call them up for another appointment. Similarly, as we worked our way through each of the problems the shower/tub had, Victor explained every step he was doing, how the parts worked, what to look out for when buying replacements, ideas/observations about the stuff he couldn't do (the caulking, the flooring)... it was such a smooth, educational/instructional time that when he left, not only did I have most of my problems solved, but I had the knowhow to resolve several of them on my own next time! And there was no attitude or umbrage -- he was genuinely interested in helping me understand how all this stuff worked. We weren't adversaries or competitors, we were a team, on the same side. I didn't feel like he was rushing the work or rushing me (when answering my many questions), and even though he had been there for over an hour, going through things with me, he only charged me for one hour. :) Oh! And after he left, I realized I hadn't shown him the $25 off Angie's List coupon! But when I doublechecked the work receipt, I saw that he had included the $25 off automatically (I had mentioned having found Petri Plumbing through Angie's List at some point during his visit.) That was nice. So even though the cost was somewhat higher than other plumbers might charge (I'm sure you can call and ask their hourly rate) the fact that it was a stress-free, confrontation-free, friendly, expert visit -- like a friend who just really knows his stuff -- made it worthwhile to me. I'll be using them again in about a week, when that part arrives. :)

Plumber arrived on time didn't acknowledge our presence or say hello. Could not provide breakdown of costs saying price was as per book! Job was completed in 40 minutes.

They know what they were doing. I can trust them. They have a printed price book and I've never seen that before. I'm a woman and I don't know anything. They could tell me anything is wrong which they can because I don't know anything about plumbing. They tell me this is what it is, here's the price. I feel comfortable knowing that I'm getting the same price for something that someone else is getting.

He was able to find the problem and fix it. I think it was pretty pricey. His punctuality was good.

Joe added a line for an outside spigot to use a hose in my backyard. As usual Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. The job took less than 2 hours and the $700 includes $120 for materials + labor + tax - a $25 Angie's List discount. He also took the time to explain how to winterize the pipe. Their work includes a year guarantee which excludes pipe bursts caused by winter. Good company but expect very high prices.

I got a quote from another plumber for $600 for this job. Joe was professional on the phone, agreed to not charge his usual travel/estimate fee to Manhattan if I ended up giving him the job. He arrived early, and upon entering, he put on dust booties for his shoes and laid down a protective sheet on the floor to keep my apartment clean. He inspected, gave a fair quote, and using the $30 Angie's list coupon, the job was less than $200, and done within 30 minutes. Would absolutely recommend Petri Plumbing again.

I was not impressed with their service. I had a sewer problem and he somebody out, but he didn't know what to do. Furthermore, their price was too high.

They were incredibly professional, personable and presented me with options to replace or fix existing pipe. Very honest. Best plumbers I've ever dealt with. I'd use them again and recommend them to my friends. What a find.

After a long week of work, I came home Friday early to relax and take a bath and found that my apartment had no hot water. Water heater pilot was out, and I tried igniting it, but nada. I called the super, and he came right up, but explained that he had just had the plumber out this morning, and if I had told him about it earlier, I could have had it repaired today, but since I didn't, I'd have to wait until Monday for the plumber. What? I told him that was unacceptable. I pay a lot of rent in a nice building, and it shouldn't matter if timing isn't convenient for THEM. Service should be 24 hours. He waved me off and said he'd call tomorrow and see if someone could come out. Saturday morning, I call him, and he informs me that Monday would have to be the soonest, and if I had a problem, I should call building management, which I did, but no one returned my call. Not excited to not be able to bathe for two more days and go to work Monday morning with grubby hair, I got a sub to Angie's list and contacted the nearest plumber with the best reviews: Petri. Both dispatchers I talked with were incredibly professional and courteous, and they let me know that even though they were almost fully booked that day, they would be able to fit me in between 5pm and 7pm. Jr with Petri arrived right on time and assessed the water heater. He thought a replacement of the ignitor would be necessary, but our water heater is old and irregular, and the one he had one hand wouldn't work. So instead he worked to repair the sparking mechanism wire, so at least in the short term we could get hot water, and the super's plumber could replace the ignitor (and really, with the age of water heater, it should be totally replaced) later. Jr was very professional and informative and showed us the proper way to light the pilot light. And I was able to take a bath finally. I was our building partnered with Petri for 24/7 service

My water heater was giving out and there was water all over the floor. Junior took a look at it and told me that it wasn't really worth repairing, the money spent would be wasted as it would soon need replacing anyway. He installed the new water heater with a small light -functioning panel that tells me when something isn't going right with it and explained how to restart it (it's a gas burner) if it goes out. The service was fast and Junior was personable, but most important-I feel confident about the water heater now. Not cheap, but worth the price for good service. I have some horror stories with other companies and water heater installation that I can tell you about some time.

Not only was he professional in the job he performed he also answered questions we had concerning future work we would want done on our boiler. He answered our questions and put our minds at ease. From initial contact with the office through the entire job, professional, professional, professional.Amazing.

They are expensive, but the technicians are very polite. They put on shoe covers and the bathroom was cleaner when they were done. I was very comfortable having them in my home. They did a really excellent job. I would definitely use them again.

the main line from my house to the sewer line was backed up. it turned out that my tenant was flushing baby wipes down the toilet creating a backup. I feel like I have a plumber I can count on for all my needs.
