262 Bainbridge StPetri Plumbing was very responsive to the emergency we had with a main sewage line blockage, which backed up water into the house. Junior was doing a great job, very clean and considerate, on a Saturday afternoon. Would certainly use them again for any plumbing work (regular and emergency).

It was great because I didn't have to have them come out and spend the money on hiring the service provider. They were also very glad to give me the information over the phone.

Petri Plumbing arrived promptly within the earliest part of the time-frame we'd been given and evaluated the problem. Both Arsen and his assistant were very professional and pleasant. They explained what they were doing and took the time to examine things thoroughly. We were impressed with their service and would not hesitate to use them again.

Very well. Joe Hartman was the plumber and he was very good. Jeanne their office manager is very efficient and responsive.

Very professional service, explained the problem logistically and fixed efficiently. Would definitely use them again. Only complaint was that they were very late for our first appointment, but very few contractors etc. are on time....

This company was a pleasure to work with and was very eager to help me get someone to my home as quickly as possibly. Provider was on time, courteous, efficient, and clear. He did the job well and had a very clear system in place for estimate cost of the job. We will definitely be using Petri Plumbing again.

Arsen the plumber guessed that there was a plastic or metal blockage in the toilet and he was right. He removed the toilet after shutting off the valve, and quickly found and removed the plastic bottle cap that was causing the blockage. Since he did not have to re-do the wax seal due to the type of toilet I have, he didn't charge me for that service. All in all, super professional, understanding, great work, great service.

I waited until 11am with no communication from Petri. After working through Angie's list's helpful staff, I finally received a phone call around noon, and they agree to discount the service charge because of the inconvenience. They promised to arrive by 1pm. Instead, at 2:30, they called to say traffic was too much and they would not make it. I understand the difficulties they faced, but a few well-timed phone calls would have satisfied me and kept me as a client.

Joe was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through each step and explained the pieces that needed to be done immediately and those that could be handled later. He also took several before/after pictures that i shared with my husband. It was a great experience and would definitely work with them again and recommend them to my friends.

From the first phone call to schedule to the completion of the job everything was done professionally and competently. The plumber who came over, Junior, was great. My heating unit would work sometimes and not others. When he came over it was actually working but this did not dissuade Junior. He evaluated the inner workings of the unit and found what he thought was the problem. He litterally worked from the second he came over to the second he left. I was very impressed and very happy with Junior as well as Petri plumbing in general. It was a great experience and I will call them again.

There are words that you never want to hear from a plumber when you are buying a house, such as "you have a problem here." But if you have to hear those words, there is no plumber that you would want to hear them from other than Michael Petri. Michael and his team were with my wife and me from the day we became interested in purchasing a fixer-upper, through renovation, and to the present day. Throughout multiple projects big and small they proved themselves to be professionals of the highest degree: skilled at their work, immediately responsive to our questions and concerns, able to offer sound advice and options, and exceedingly friendly. Time and again, Michael took the time to answer our questions and provide advice over the phone and by email, almost always within 24hrs. Jeannie at the office was always cheerful and prompt at handling our papers and scheduling. Arsen, one of Michael's plumbers who became the lead man on all our jobs, is perhaps the friendliest and most cheerful plumber my wife and I have ever had the chance to meet (and having lived in a number of old apartments in Brooklyn in the past, we have met many). On top of all this, they consistently went above and beyond our expectations to take care of not only the big things, but all the small things that popped up along the way as well. Just one example out of many: a month or so after Arsen and his team had replaced some of the piping in the house, we began hearing strange grinding noises in the plumbing. Unable to figure out where it was coming from, we contacted Michael, who had Arsen at our door the next day to investigate. Going to the basement he immediately located the source of the noise as the old cold water pipe leading to the spigot in the backyard and hypothesized that the old spigot was our problem. But wanting to make sure he left no stone unturned, he took it upon himself to squeeze into the crawl space under our extension where the pipe ran so he could investigate further. Finding no leaks or other causes, he replaced the spigot and our problem was solved (as an aside, he also serendipitously located the source of our ant problem). We can not recommend Michael Petri and Co. highly enough.

We were really delighted with the way the installation went - the Petri team were efficient, friendly, protected adjacent parts of the apartment well, and always asked before doing anything that involved a choice of locations or arrangements.Terrific job.

Plumber did the job well although we waited for two hours. The company notified us about the delay.

although petri plumbing was not able to fix our problem, they spent about 2 hours here working on it. they spent time calling the manufacturer of our shower system and made several attempt to fix it. the guy who was here was patient and explained everything to me as they went along with what they were doing. they were on time, very professional, put on little booties before walking into my apartment - no complaints at all. since they could not fix the problem we had they did not charge us for the job. that was totally unexpected and i was beyond grateful for that. gave them a tip - it was the least i was able to do. i would totally contact them again in the future. hopefully with not such a big problem. thank you so much for everything - you guys are great.

I contacted Petri Plumbing & Heating when I was having issue with my Delta kitchen faucet with touch technology. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly pleasant and was able to schedule a technician to come the next day. Joe H. called about 15-20 minutes before arriving. He and another guy (I am forgetting his name right now) arrived are were incredibly courteous. I explained the problems I was having and they began their work. Joe was very open and honest and made sure to explain what was wrong and what my options for fixing it would be. He was also very upfront about rates, as the issue required a phone call to the manufacturer. As for the issue with the shower, Joe fixed an issue that had been caused by another plumber not properly installing a shower fixture. I was absolutely thrilled with my experience with Petri. Will definitely keep their number handy for any future plumbing issues.

Joe H. came on time, understood the problem immediatly (last plumber didn't), communicated clearly with me, went out and got the part on a Friday afternoon and completed the job. Altogether a good experience.

Both the office, Jeannie, and the plumber, Junior, were professional, courteous, and competent. Junior was thorough in his assessment and in carrying out the repairs. My building was not helpful, but Jeannie managed (without their help) to get the appropriate insurance papers to the managing agent. I was impressed with the quality of the personnel and their work, and would definitely use them again.

Joe was great. He showed up on time, was a straight shooter about how the problem, different options for how to fix it, how much each option was going to cost. Professional, punctual, and courteous. I would definitely use Petri and again and I would request Joe as well.

They did a good job. Two people worked on it and it took about half hour. They were professional and I would use them again.

Service was schedule within a two hour window and the plumber showed up promptly. He did not charge a fee for fixing the leak as no parts needed to be replaced. He also checked the dishwasher plumbing and located the problem (it was a dishwasher issue and so he did not charge for that either). This was the first time I used a service recommended by Angies List members (just moved into my new home) and I'm very pleased with the result.

Their service representative was prompt, courteous and efficient. He disconnected the gas line and sealed it to ensure that when flooring was installed there would be no problem if the connection was knocked or banged into and arranged a time to return and reinstall gas connection. He quickly and efficiently solved and repaired problems with water pressure and leakage. I will call then for any further problems in the future and would highly recommend them.

These guys were great. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, worked in a timely manner, and communicated clearly at all times what needed to be resolved. They cleaned after themselves. They were polite and professional at all times. Definitely a recommend!!!!
