Nathan was punctual, did great work on the carpets, and followed up to make sure everything was okay. I will use his company in the future, and trust they will always do a quality job.

There were still areas that were not cleaned

Through our mutual misunderstanding, they have to reschedule once, but the next time, they arrive early (Kudo to that). Two nice guys and did try to do a good job overall. Pleasant and responsive. I wasn't as nice as I can be for the rescheduling, but Nathan handle it well. (I feel) They did try to up-sell me to their deep clean package, but I'm okay with that. They spotted a few issues with my flooring and informed me ... and gave us a trick in handling common spill on carpet. They did call back (2 days later) to check on the result of the carpet (after drying), so again, they did what they said they would. Thanks guys! Asides: As a gesture to Angie's List's protest of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, I am joining others to leave Angie's List. My cancellation is a direction results of their actions.

The deal wasn't quite what I expected plus additional costs, so I requested a refund.

Nathan and his partner came, assessed the layout and moved through a small apartment where I had to shirt furniture as they worked. They were diligent and cooperative. I would recommend their services.

The actual appointment, cleaning, moving of things, care with personal effects was done efficiently and carefully and I am delighted with the end. result They were professional and to the point. This central part was a good experience. There were 2 glitches-- the provider indicated that Angie's list had advertised a steam cleaning (actually a hot water cleaning) but said it would likely not do more than "brighten" the rugs a bit. I opted for the real cleaning with pre-treatment/shampoo and paid extra. I have since checked with industry descriptions and he is absolutely correct about what steam cleaning alone involves. Not knowing this, it felt a bit "unfair" since he was already here on my doorstep and I, of course, wanted my rug cleaned. So, on this one, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and simply say that when you set an appointment, be clear about what you want and what it will cost. If your rug has spots and stains you probably want more than a steam cleaning. The second glitch was that both he and his associate complained that they had been challenged by staff on entering the building. I explained separately to each that we are being particularly careful about building security. I again mentioned this to his associate when he wanted to buzz the provider back in and I said I would do it to be sure, etc. However, 5 minutes after they left, exiting through the basement, I received a visit from my superintendent--they had left the basement entry gate open. When I called, the owner was apologetic and explained he'd been double-parked. Still I had mentioned the issue 3 x...... On balance, I would use them again, knowing what I know, asking for clarification beforehand and reminding them and checking on their exit.

My appt was from 2-4. The provider called me at 3:45 to let me know they ran into traffic and would arrive around 4:15. They arrive over an hour later at 5:20PM. At this point the tentative plans for the afternoon with my children needed to be cancelled, because I needed to start dinner. The time-frame wasn't a huge issue for me because I didn't have an important engagement, but if your company name is "On Time Carpet" you should show up on time. When they arrived the immediately tried to upsell on stain services. I am replacing the floor soon so I just needed a general cleaning for sanitary purposes, and stuck with the shampooing only. Breakdown of services: 1a) I have used Stanley Steamer and other Carpet cleaning companies in the past and they all have a specially outfitted van or truck with a steaming and shampooing unit installed inside. 1b) This is not a steam cleaning service. They arrive in a Jeep and have a commercial shampooing unit that they take out of their vehicle. They use your water to fill the carpet shampooing machine. (It looked like a floor sander with a shampoo attachment). In my opinion, you can get the same results from a Rug Doctor rental for $50 and you can spot treat yourself. 2a) Don't have your bathrooms cleaned before they come. If you hire them, make sure you schedule housecleaning after not before so your bathrooms stay clean. 2b) They didn't wreck the bathroom and cleaned up after themselves, so the water use wasn't much of an issue. I have just never had a carpet cleaning service use my water before. 3a) The guys were nice guys and eventually did apologize about showing up over an hour late. 3b) However... They mentioned they were coming from New Jersey and that people have to understand that because they are traveling from so far that they can't always show up on time?? This is a p*** poor excuse. Your scheduling as a business is your responsibility. In the future if you know you are traveling over 100 miles from one location to the other, you should plan accordingly for travel time (including traffic) or schedule for another day. 4a) The carpet appearance was visibly cleaner. 4b) The estimated time to try given was 4-6 hours, but carpet didn't dry until the next day. When the carpet finally dried it was hard and stiff, not soft like it is with a steam cleaning. Overall the cleaning service wasn't what I was looking for, but I can see it working for someone else in a different scenario. I was just turned off by the lateness so much that it overshadowed the work done and the potential for future business. I wish these guys well in business but they need to take punctuality more seriously.

We understand that delays happen, and we would have rescheduled with him if he was civil and professional. He actually started yelling at my husband on the phone! We certainly don't want a services person working in our home who has anger issues.

Overall, I think the rugs were cleaned, which was the ultimate goal. However, there were a few issues that I had with the service. There was some sloppiness while the men were at my home. They were walking around with their shoes on. They left the chemicals they were using to clean the rugs on the carpet when they were not using them. They used my bathtub as drainage to clean out the machine when they were finished. The chemicals had left a large stain on my shower curtain, that I then had to take to the dry cleaners to have cleaned. On the other rug that they took with them to clean, they used large tacks or staples to hold down the rug as they cleaned it. When they brought the rug back, they had put it down haphazardly in my children's room and left the tacks lying on top of the rug. I was very surprised at the sloppiness and carelessness of them leaving the tacks on the rug when they put the rug down in my children's room. That could be a huge hazard and could potentially have been dangerous to my children. The 2 gentlemen were very nice, however, and were pleasant to work with. There were just a few issues that occurred that I found unprofessional. The rug that they took with them to clean had never been cleaned before and it no longer feels the same as it did before. I am not sure if that is how its supposed to feel after its been cleaned, but it no longer feels the same. I would not use this company again.

Absolutely professional and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. They couldn't get all stains out but tried their best and I hope to use again to clean my area rugs.

This went perfectly fine! They cleaned a chair and ottoman. The two men were very nice and came on time. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. While they were here, they told me they clean carpets as well. I had some oriental carpets I was about to send out to be cleaned but they were able to take them that day. They washed them by hand, used green products, and they blocked them. They did a beautiful job on the cleaning!

There were communication problems. They weren’t that professional answering the phone. I thought they were coming at nine and they said they meant between nine and twelve. They were not coming from that far away (queens I think) so I don’t understand why they needed a three hour window. Ironic given their name of “On Time.” They made a distinction between basic cleaning of the carpet and “fine detailing” which I still don’t understand. No carpet cleaner I have used before made that distinction. They did a basic cleaning. Carpets are better than they were before but there are still some spots/stains. Maybe the spots/stains would have come out if I had paid for the fine detailing.

They did a fantastic job. The carpets haven't been cleaned in a long time and there was soil and other stains on the carpet. After they finished their job the carpet looked like new. They were also very nice and wanted to make sure that I liked the results. Well done. I would definitely recommend them again. They were also very flexible to schedule an appointment.

They followed up and called us the next day. The service was good and they did the carpet cleaning in our playroom and 2 rooms upstairs. They also did our family room too. We had a paint stain and they tried to get it out. Also when they were finishing another job, that took longer, they called to let me know ahead of time.

The two young entrepreneurs were professional. They explained all the processes, why they were necessary and assured us of the results. We are in the midst of staging our house to put it on the market for sale. We wanted to make the house as desireable as possible without spending a fortune. We plan to take the two area rugs and were concerned if they could be restored. We had alredy had a carpet company in and decided to replace the carpet in the master bedroom. They suggested that they could restore the carpet to it's fullest but explained that itwould need to be re-stretched. That would proably cost $150. The additional cleaning of the master bedroom cos $80. With the $150 for stretching we saved more than $500 verses the cost of new (lower quality) caprpet. I would not hesitate to reccommend OnTime to friends. You can feel comfortable that good service is their mission statement.

Before starting the work they told me it would cost about $400 extra if I wanted pre-treatment for stains which I declined. They also refused to removed most of the furniture and shampooed around in instead. The two guys who came out were nice but the carpet still has spots and stains.

Nathan and his colleague arrived on time, and set up the equipment to clean my couch. They were thorough and completed the job within an hour. The couch looks great!

I was surprised at the extra cost especially since they didnt do the entire rooms ( I didnt feel like moving the furniture) but they were professional and it looks like they charged the avg rate. They called the next day to make sure I was happy and I am. I would use them again.

As soon as i purchased the deal On Time Called me to set up an appointment. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. I appreciated their professionalism. They did a great job and all my stains are gone and that's saying a lot since i have two messy kids. Awesome job. Thank You
