Received estimate over phone (we knew what needed to be done.) Made an appointment for following Monday morning. Was told we'd receive a call with appointment time on Sunday evening. Was told Sunday evening the installer would arrive Monday at 7:30 a.m. Actually arrived 10 minutes early. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Entire service call took approximately one hour.

My appointment time of 7:30 am arrived and my doorbell rang. That's how prompt they were. Richie Fenton and his associate looked at the garage door and determined that the problem was the electric eyes. They checked and advised me that's what shorted out the lights and opener. The electric eyes were replaced and the door was like new. Richie even replaced the batteries in the remotes. The entire visit lasted less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed. Being able to fix the door opener saved me a great deal of money. I would definitely recommend Fenton Garage Doors. They were very professional.

Very good experience dealing with the owner and his workers. The estimate was on target and the work was done professionally.

The Door was jammed. I called 3 top rated providers and left messages. Fenton called back in 10 minutes and I made the appointment. The quoted service charge was $90 to walk in the door which is reasonable. They arrived 45 minutes early. He very clearly explained all the options from simple adjustment to full replacement. He educated us on proper care and what to look for in the future. We chose a simple adjustment and greasing. He applied the coupon to the $90. There was absolutely no hard sell for the more expensive choices. We are very pleased and will use him again.

The boss arrived with three workers fifteen minutes early on the scheduled date. He explained the problem stated above, gave me a reduced quote if I did both houses, and I agreed. Two men worked on each house. They finished both in about an hour. As promised, both doors worked well and the motors were much quieter than before. The boss explained how the system worked, including a keypad opener on the outside of the door (which is a great added feature I didn't have before. While the other guys were cleaning up, I prepared to write a check for the agreed amount ($850 for two openers) when he told me to apply an Angie's list discount of $25. So, I paid $825 with a full one year guarantee on parts and service. I chose Fenton because I wanted someone who was located nearby and who had gotten reliable reviews on Angie's list. The process worked exactly as I had hoped. The reviews were right on the money, and I am adding this review to continue the process The guys were true professionals, and I'm happy I chose them to solve the problem.

Richie and helper were early and started work right away.We were very happy with the work that was done.He took the time to do the good right better than we excepted.We would not hesitate to recommend or use him again

Although my appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, Richard and his assistant arrived 15 minutes early. They immediately started removing my old garage door, which they carted away when they were finished for the day. They did an excellent job of installing my new door and took extra steps to ensure that I was satisfied. Richard is a true professional, and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I liked their work. I called them back again to installed handles inside and outside the door. They came back quickly and free of charge to install the handles for me. They were very easy to work with.

Showed up on time, repaired the broken spring and replaced wheels on tracks. greased the track so that it ran smothly. installed a handle at the botttom of the door to assist in lifting it. (His idea - did without my asking him) He also discouraged me from buying and installing a new lock as the age of the door rendered it inefficient. He showed me how to open the door if someone accidently locked it. He also recognized, by the string of wooden diamonds installed over the door, that his father had installed my door many years ago when he worked for Sears. Very pleasant and efficient. Would definitely use him again.

He clearly and patiently explained all my options and returned very shortly after I called to give him the job, so I didn't have to wait very long at all to get a new garage door. The Fenton workers arrived on time to my appointment. They were very pleasant and professional in doing the job of replacing and installing a new high quality motor and set of springs. I had an old garage door motor which stopped lifting the garage door. He diagnosed it over the phone and said since it is a pre 1991 opener, it canot be serviced but should be replaced. Work was done quickly and professionally. The garage door is very quiet and seems to run much more smoothly than it had in the past. Very happy with the job.

Our car wound up sliding into the garage doors durning an ice storm. Richie came right over, did an interim repair until the new parts could come in and then fixed the door good as new. I would recommend Fenton for quick, professional and reasonably priced work anytime.

Called because garage door was not going down. He suggested a fix on the phone and it worked! I asked him to come out anyway to inspect, adjust, and lubricate both of my garage doors as they hadn't been looked at in some time. He did and found an issue on one that he fixed at no additonal charge. This guy is the best!

I got their name through a special running on Angie's List. They came and I asked a couple of questions. They seemed to be very good in explaining their functions. There was nothing they did that struck me as incorrect.

Perfect. Very reasonable price. Very Professional, Very Nice. Went out of his way to fix something that was not required. The door was installed perfectly despite the less than rectangular nature of the structure. The guy that gives you the estimate is the guy that does the work. An excellent family business. I can't image a better garage door experience.

They are very good and very reliable. This was the first time I ever used them. The gentleman who came out was punctual, polite and very professional. There were no problems what so ever.

I have used Fenton Garage Doors.before,and have always been more than satisfied.When they give you a specific time they are usually there before that time.This time three generations of Fentons came and each one is friendly,curteous,and respectful.It was bitter cold day when they came,but they worked continuously until the job was finished.I would wish all business` would emulate them.
