Description of Work: They exterminated in every room of the apartment I specified. I saw a HUGE difference after their services and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any with pests in apartment buildings; so many apartment buildings offer free extermination services and I have used them in the past and have seen no such difference. I would guarantee these exterminators even in an apartment building where pest control is an issue.

Description of Work: they took 15 minutes or less to spray a few places and it cost $111. Seems too expensive.

Description of Work: I hired Afederal to help us with what turned out to be squirrels on our roof. I was able to get an appointment quickly which was a positive. However, after about 2 weeks into the trapping of the squirrels on our roof (they had caught about 4 at this point) the Afederal team disappeared. No one came to the house to update us on their progress and as it turns out, no one had even showed up to the house for about a week. (They had promised to come daily, Mon-Fri to check the traps.) I called to follow up since I had no idea what was going on and was told the computer systems were down and that they would call me back as soon as they were up and running to give me an update on the progress of the trapping. The following day THERE WAS A SQUIRREL IN MY LIVING ROOM!!! I was furious!!! Apparently my husband who was home at the time scared it back upstairs but it was a bit traumatizing, especially since I have a very curious 14 month old that is always running around the house. Afederal promptly sent someone to the house that day. They began setting up traps inside our upstairs and ended up catching about 5-6 more squirrels. They were good about coming daily after our unfortunate incident and even made exceptions to come on weekends and the MLK holiday. I was terribly disappointed with the poor communication I initial received with this company, not to mention the lapse in service leading to the animals entering my home. However, their response afterward was very appropriate which is the only reason I didn't give them a lower rating.

Description of Work: The provider sprayed all the areas of our house for roaches. He arrived within the time frame given and was very polite and efficient. He answered all our questions and explained what we needed to do in the spring for our ant problem, We were very satisfied with the services we received.

Description of Work: Afederal Exterminating was incredible. I have just moved into my apartment not too long ago, and I noticed some silverfish. I had called around to numerous exterminators and finally decided to choose Afederal. They are reasonably priced compared to everyone else, they are in the know about current insect issues around my neighborhood and the girls in the office are just so nice and pleasant. The technician came on time, was kind and knowledgeable. He explained to me that living in an apartment building is tough when trying to deal with unwanted pests, and that I should take a service at least every three months to maintain my problem. I do not feel pressured by some other company's who wanted to force me into a contract, I can choose what day and what time I want service and I could even skip a month if I don't see any problems.. I give Afederal an A for everything, and I will definitely recommend this company as much as possible..

Description of Work: A Federal was scheduled by the landlord for service on February 12, 2013 after waiting 1.5 hours they were a NO SHOW/NO CALL at our building.
