It was good because he talked about the products he used and I never had any problems since. On the day of the appointment, he was running a little late but he called me and communicated with me about it.

Father and son team were very friendly, prompt and helpful. Their business is different from other plumbers in that they have glossy price sheets and service plans laid out in brochure style. On the one hand, you are paying a bit more, on the other hand you know up front exactly what you are going to pay. And the service the provide is very high quality. I had hissing and clanging radiators for years, and this winter I never noticed them!

It when very well. George the plumber was very good and fixed my pipes and sink.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They kind of just looked at it and did a visual inspection, but that was basically it. I did not think it was worth the money. He did not clean anything or take anything apart; we were inspecting a lot more than I got. I am not sure if I read the Big Deal print right about what they were supposed to be providing. I did not like the service. He did clean the front of it but did not drain water from the system or add any chemicals. I did not get what I paid for because he did not do a lot of the stuff that was supposed to be done. The service was not great, but it was not lousy. He came a long distance for the service call and I don't think he expected the trip to take that long so he ran a little late; but he was courteous and did call to let me know he was running late. The price was way too expensive for what I got. They were on time for the call and very responsive if I needed anything. He was supposed to call me back for a different item but never did. They were very professional.

I called and left a message earlier in the week and 2 days later no one had called me back. I called once again and left a message, mentioning the failure to receive a return phone call. Bill returned my phone call within an hour, very apologetic and extremely polite. I described my situation over the phone (leak in the basement) and he told me that it didn't really sound like a plumbing issue. He suggested I call a waterproofing contractor rather than pay the $59 service charge to have someone come and restate what he'd already told me. I appreciated his honesty but wanted them to come anyway since I had a few other things I needed to show them. We agreed that someone would be there on the following Tuesday between 1:00pm and 2:00pm. Well, Tues came and 1:00 came and went, then 2:00 came with no sign of anyone. No phone call, nothing. I called at 2:05, left a message with the answering service (you can never call and speak directly with a plumber) and Bill called back about 10 minutes later, apologetic that no one had contacted me to let me know that they would be late, and explaining that they'd had an emergency that morning. He told me that they had a technician in the area and that he would send the tech right over. When it was all said and done, Michael (the plumber) didn't reach my home until 3:45pm. I was highly annoyed at the waste of my time, lack of communication, and apparent unprofessionalism. However, I was quickly put at ease when Michael showed up with his courteous, professional demeanor. We were able to address all of my concerns and he patiently answered all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions). By the end of his visit I'd signed up for the Diamond Club and planned for him to return for another job. Although we got off to a rough start, I think all in all I would definitely hire them again.

They were very good. We were very satisfied with their work. They were on time. They have very good customer service, and if you are not happy about something, they will follow-up. They were a little expensive, but their work was very good. They were very responsive.

These guys are very charming, but that does not disguise the eye wateringly expensive nature of the service. You pay a significant call-out fee, and so when you get hit with the big price (very nicely presented on a laminated sheet showing "standard pricing") for what it is they are going to do, you have to do the calculation of whether it's worth paying the $60 for nothing and calling someone else. As they surely know, very few people do this. We needed a new pipe as a connection piece was missing. They left the improvised solution we had come up with to stop the leak, didn't install the new pipe, and added a, perhaps $5 (max) part. My advise is to try your best to describe what's wrong and ask them to give you the pricing for the various options - before you let them come. We paid over $400 for what was essentially a very cheap plumbing part and about 10 minutes work.

Showed up on time and made sure work was explained and done properly.

The repairman that came was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even put covers on over his shoes to prevent tracking dirt into our home. Before he started any work he explained what would need to be done and the cost in detail. The repair was done quickly and neatly. Once he was done he pointed out to me that the water in our toilet tank was constantly running which is something we had not noticed. Upon opening the tank I could see that the water was very high and always running. That was repaired also. Overall I was extremely happy with this job. The fee was reasonable and there were no surprise extra costs. I am recommending them to the others in our coop and would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

He came on time, assessed the issue thoroughly and asked the right questions. He then proceeded to assess our system before giving me an explanation of his findings. Once he found the problem he gave me an estimate of the cost for fixing it and then fixed it immediately upon my approval. Great service!!

The work went very well. Warren explained our options for improving the problem we had with heat in our basement.His workers came with the materials to do the job completely. Everything was done in a timely manner.

Exceeded expectations. Others should take lessons from A Good Plumber on communication and service.

I?m very glad I called the folks at A Good Plumber to replace my water heater. Everyone I contacted at the company was courteous and helpful. I always felt that they were interested in doing a good job and in putting the customer first. Should I again have a plumbing or heating problem, I will definitely call A Good Plumber for help.

Nothing happened because no one came to my house.

overall it was ok. i was over charged by the company but after a few phone calls it was resolved. the serviceman broke a valve and blamed it on the old age and charged me for the new piece.

They came on time. They explained everything in detail on what they were going to do. They were very clean and pleasent to deal with. We joined their Gold club which is why price was higher (we paid for year up front). We would recommend them to others.

They were Great and Quick... They were also Neat and the area they worked on was left Clean upon their completion of their Work.

We don't regret our decision to give this company our business. After giving them a deposit, they had two reps in our house the following day dismantling the old furnace. They were here for several hours, because the old boiler was at least two to three times bigger than the new ones. They worked hard. The following day they delivered the new one, and started to install all the new plumbing that was necessary for the more modern boilers. It took two days to complete the job, and to get the water tank connected as well. They cleaned after themselves, and then proceeded to show us how everything worked. They also instructed us to empty some water from the boiler every two weeks, and add clean water to keep it running efficiently. They will also come to clean and fire up the boiler before winter for the next three years. Once the job was finished, they sent another rep the following day to inspect the job and to make sure everything was in good working order. This really impressed us. Before Bill left, he made sure to let us know that we could call them if any problems came up. A couple of days later, we heard hissing coming from some of the radiators, and some were even leaking. Someone came over the following day, and discovered that some of our radiators needed to be pitched more and that solved the problem.

Called A Good Plumber to make an appointment. The toilet was loose on the floor and didnt' know what was wrong. Tommy was great. He was very professional, showed me exactly what was going on once he removed the bowl. Apparently the person who installed it years ago did it wrong. So he resealed to make it not loose. He said there was a lead pipe needing to be replaced at some point, it was bending and probably very old. I asked approximately how much that would cost and it was expensive for me right now, plus they would have to break some of the tiles on the floor. I told him if leaks or other things happened, I will let him know. He was a really great plumber and I would recommend this company to do any plumbing issues.

I was seeing discoloration and sediments when running the hot water in my house. I called A Good Plumber and Bill returned my call in a very timely manner. He took the time to explain the different causes and since it wasn't an emergency at this time (strangely my hot water is clear now) he suggested to wait and see. Also he reminded me my heater is still under warranty. It's so nice to speak to professionals that actually care and are not trying to sell you a job.

Bill contacted right away when I left a message with his team on my issue. My pipes are leaking in my ceiling (due to a builder's defect) and I called to see if his company was the right persons to deal with on the issue. He spent time listening to my problem and determined that this was more so an HVAC problem than a plumbing one. While anyone else would have probably hung up after knowing they won't get a dime speaking to me, Bill stayed on the phone to get more insight on the problem so he could seek advice from his father who is well versed in general building issues. He called me back once speaking with his father and said that this indeed is a HVAC issue. Bill then proceeded to get in touch with a close friend of his who owns a HVAC specialist company to give me advice. While I didn't have a chance to contract Bill's services, I feel that he went above and beyond and would certainly use him in the future.

Technician was on time, explained in detail what was going to happen. Serviced my heating system and checked my water heater and explained that it due to be replaced. Actually several years outdated. We reviewed the cost of replacement and several plans available . I would use the service again.

I called them, they called me back. Made an appointment for the following day. They came at the scheduled time, did what they were supposed to do, and charged the agreed upon price. What more can one want?
