Description of Work: I had to do this move fast and within 3 days they had come to my former residence to give me an estimate, and moved me into my new place. The move also came in 400.00 under the original estimate. The 3 workers were professional, friendly and capable. They made a very stressful move go very smoothly. They were just fantastic, and I can't reccomend them highly enough.

Description of Work: I've moved around quite a bit, so I have lots of experience with movers. I can honestly say that this was probably my best. First of all, Mike came the day after I contacted the company to carefully look over my apartment, let me know what would be involved and give me an estimate of what it would cost to move my belongings to their storage site. After getting a couple of other estimates and deciding to use Moving Man, I was in routine contact with an account representative who gave me tips on what to do to make the move easier and even made arrangements to have delivered some used wardrobe boxes (gratis) to help with my packing. The actual day of the move, a cracker-jack, very professional team showed up on time and things went exactly as planned (of course, I did everything they told me to do as part of my packing and planning). They were out in a few hours and the actual cost of the move was LESS than the estimate! Their storage prices were also quite reasonable for a good, clean and safe location in Manhattan. A friend of mine was helping on the day of the move and she was so impressed that she hired Moving Man to help with her move from New York City to Durham, NC, and reports that they were terrific. I'll definitely use them again for my next move.
