The experience went very well. There is very little I would ask/require them to have done differently.

Jose, Hector, & Eric, arrived early, very pleasant, and helpful. Worked quickly and efficently. They set up 1000 books. We are very pleased.

Clarence was great an as estimator and customer service representative. He and his crew were on time, efficient, totally polite, patient, and clean. They finished an impressive amount of work after 9 hours in a rain storm.

On the day of the move 4 men showed up with the truck at 8:30am (they had given us a start time window of 8:30-9am, so this was fine with us). As per the agreement we had packed almost nothing, so they packed everything. They were very responsive (also very polite)-I had to tell them part way through that there was a deadline for us to get into the new building (which was my fault-I should have told them that ASAP, but I forgot) and they were able were able to accommodate that. They brought more than enough packing supplies with them. Nothing was broken (including an antique clock, a marble topped table, lots of chine/glass ware and 3 glass fronted bookcases). I would absolutely use them again. They made a very stressful day just a little bet better.

I received the best crew, specifically Fernando's crew. They were efficient. I was out of the old apartment and in the new apartment quickly. The price was great and under the quoted estimate. They were done ahead of schedule including going up 3 flights of stairs. It was raining that day and they took proper precaution to protect my belongings.

He was a great worker, fast and courteous. Excellent job!

I was pretty impressed. He set the right time to come and gave the ultimate in July. He assigned a moving consultant to me. He has been pretty available and so far I have been happy.

I priced out a number of moving companies. One thing I learned from reading all the reviews of various moving companies is to never accept a phone estimate based on projected hours and hourly cost. After reading review after review of people being overcharged where moves estimated at taking only 2 or 3 hours took 6 to 10 hours to complete, Only two companies I contacted agreed to send a representative out to provide an estimate in person - Moving men was one of the two and the lowest.Overall the move went smoothly. They sent 3 guys which was more than enough. for what I had to move and before i knew it everything was in the truck and on its way.The guys were very professional. Overall it was a good experience.I probably could have found an cheaper moving company and things may have gone as smoothly. But since I don't plan to move that often was it worth the risk of hiring a bad company just to save a 200 bucks?

I did not book them to move me. The Moving Man employees I dealt with on the phone were professional and courteous. However, the estimate I received from John Stout was 65% and 55% higher than the other 2 companies who came to my apartment to give me estimates. Needless to say, I booked one of the other companies to carry out my move.

Really very. You don't have to but a small tip to the guys keeps everyone happy. I didn't feel obligated to do so but when they finished emptied my old apartment in 90 min., I knew these guys were the to work and I knew the worst was yet to come. Everything had to be carried up 5 flights of stairs. So I felt they earned it and they didn't let us down.

Excellent. Job was done in a fully professional and careful manner. Estimate of cost was reasonable and less than the actual cost based on tared weight of shipment. On pickup and delivery, Kelby was the driver-in-charge and did an exemplary job in overseeing the packing and movement of items. The supporting assistants were likewise excellent. No damage was sustained by any of our belongings. This is an excellent moving company, and we would recommend them highly.

They were phenomenal. They were fast, they were extremely friendly and they were totally efficient. They really helped me out a lot.

Movers were on time, extremely fast and friendly. They even made sure the door was closed so the cats didn't get out. They were unbelievably efficient.

Everything was great, I just decided to move myself.

Everything was fine and they were cooperative and very quick. They took care of us. A really good group of guys. I have no complaints.

They estimate seemed a little higher than the other estimates I received. I did not go with them because they could not promise the estimate would not go that much higher. The other companies guaranteed that the final cost would not go much higher than their estimate.

The movers arrived a bit late, but worked very efficiently and fast.

Overall, we were very pleased. The total amount came in under quote and the company honoured the Angie's List discount, plus even threw in a few extras. The crew was very professional and almost mechanical in operation - very impressed. We were recommended to go with a four man team, as opposed to a three man team that other companies had quoted, as they had claimed in the end it would save time, which saves money. They were quite correct in this, and we ended up more than 100 dollars under the quoted price. They also gave us the lowest quote (with some companies wanting 1000+ to do a small move), and while I had been burned before on non binding quotes, they did really come through on it. The entire move took a few hours in the morning. All of our items were delivered carefully and intact, and the foreman of the crew took the time to go over all of the charges on the bill and made sure that we agreed and understood everything - again, very professional and well run. The only negative that we had was that it took them over an hour to go from Madison Square Gardner to Roosevelt Island (via the 59 St bridge I guess) - originally they were promising they would meet us there in about 20 minutes (it took us about 15 minutes on the F train). The reason was Manhattan traffic, which could be true. However, given that we ended up spending less than what we expected anyways, my wife and I were not too upset. A few words of advice - the move went very smoothly for a few reasons, and some of them are under your control if you want to save money during the move: We went from an elevator building to an elevator, and both had elevators that we reserved and dedicated for our move. Over @ 33rd and 8th, they had a dedicated loading dock, and here there was a dedicated service entrance (parking is not so much a deal on Roosevelt Island, heh), i.e. street parking was not an issue. We packed -everything- ourselves. All the boxes were lined up and ready to go. This saves a ton of money, trust me. The only wrapped the couches/bed/large items for us. Basically 1 & 2 are not so controllable, but #3 totally is - if you have everything ready to go and organized, it will save you hundreds on both labour and also on the price of boxes (which, BTW, a very, very easy to find for free all over the city ^_~). Anyways, hopefully we will not be moving again anytime soon, but I would fully recommend them and use them again, there were first rate. Also, as I said before, it was not a binding quote, so YMMV, but it worked out excellent for us.

They were great. They were terrific. Moving my company was one big thing, and they were absolutely fabulous. I thought that they were incredibly efficient with their quote. They figured out ways of saving money, and they are not nickel-and-diming you. They actually came in under their bid, and so they gave me money back in both cases and that was pretty good.

It went very well. I called up several times to leave messages, and the movers got the messages right away. Also when I called too see where the movers were located, they got in contact right away and I knew where they were. They were very nice and professional.

Movers were professional.However, nature was not cooperative.After they arrived at the apartment that I was moving to, it started to rain.Needless to say certain pieces were well protected but a few items got rained on, nevertheless, the overall move was smooth.They also helped me move a very heavy piece of entertainment center that was already in the apartment.I would hire them again.But will probably ask them to not use so much packing material which ran an additional of $200+

It didn't .... Rep was 20 minutes late....didn't like that I packed....not a good experience.

They did a good job, arrived on time, packed nicely, and delivered promptly. My only gripe is that I paid for them to unpack as well, but they didn't really do that. They just took clothes out of the wardrobe boxes and hung them in the closets. 90% of the other boxes were not unpacked, so I didn't really get my money's worth in that regard.
