Excellent-to depart NY kind, generous, efficient when packed, moved and unpacked.

The moving team headed by Kelby was exceptional. Kelby, very professional, attention to details, courteous and hard working, guided his team and keep an eye on everything. The team was good and fast in their packing, worked very hard. One of my sofa was very difficult and cant even get inside the elevator, Kelby took the legs off which was extremely complex and prevent scratching and damaging the expensive merchandise. I was stress free knowing i am in good hands. No one can appreciate this except for someone who moved so much and from far away places like me. i had experienced disastrous moves where almost all my antiques were damaged and i cant even collect any damages. Long story. My things that was put in storage was not dusty or damaged or evidence of bugs presence which i was always concerned. The storage facilities must be very well protected and clean. The price i feel is pretty good for that many move, from New York to storage, twice, finally Boston. Not one word i can think of that is not good. And such an experience is the exception in my life. i truly appreciate it.

Jon's estimate was reasonable and included many free used boxes, which made the price even better. The workers arrived on time, actually early. They were friendly and courteous, and they worked quickly and efficiently, packing up most of our kitchen items in addtion to moving us out. They finished unloading earlier than expected, and this brought down the final price even below the estimate.

Two movers arrived on time. Very kind, efficient, and professional. They moved everything carefully & quickly. Overall, very very happy.

Everything went very well on the whole. Hadley the moving boss was excellent and stayed with the move from NY to southern state destination. He managed the crew well and did the truck packing himself which resulted in our only needing 1 truck for the job. The only negative was we felt the crew in our final destination were a bit casual which we feel resulted in a few broken items which we later discovered. Had this not occurred they would have received an overall "A".

Requested a quote from the company's web site on Friday evening, received a call back Monday AM. Was not able to answer, voicemail said, they would not be able to help me as the move was from Brooklyn to Central NJ. It would cost them more. Referred me to another 'closer' moving company. The Angie's list service area should be updated to their website info. I went by what the description of Angie's list says, now i see their web site only services Manhattan. Seems like they are local to Manhattan. Misleading.

They were absolutely fantastic and very responsive. I would definitely use them again and two other people in my building did use them due to our great experience!

They came on time and worked quickly. Furniture with delicate parts were partially disassembled and specially wrapped. Nothing was broken or missing. The actual quote was 1,450. The extra 250 was for insurance (150) we bought through them and packing materials/boxes (100) for many extra items that we originally told them we were not moving when they gave us their quote. Despite being delayed by our need for last minute packing, they stepped up the pace of the move so that we could meet the deadline for shutting down the freight elevator at our new place.

From my first contact with this company I felt confident that they could handle the job in a caring and professional manner and that's exactly what happened. The move was complicated by the sudden illness of a family member which caused me to reschedule. All was handled gracefully by the company - they were more than willing to accommodate our needs. The movers were prompt, well-groomed and pleasant to deal with. They assisted with outstanding packing and moved all the household items safely to the new address. The team worked well together and took great care of our belongings. They fully explained the charges and were willing to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this company.

Having done about a dozen moves in my life, Moving Man guys have exceeded my expectations. After the initial phone call, we scheduled an appointment for the appraiser to come in. Vladimir (the appraiser) was very helpful and listened to all of our concerns. The move was appraised at around $1500. Vladimir was also kind enough to give us suggestions on how to lower the final amount: it basically came down to 'pack as much as possible yourself'. I spoke to Vladimir on 3 separate occasions on the phone. The movers, 3 gentlemen, showed up on time. They were very efficient and courteous. I bought them lunch (sandwiches) before we left for Stamford. Overall, fantastic job. I'd use them again.

I located Moving Man on Angie's List and got an estimate to move my daughter from a small studio in NYC to Boston. I was pleasantly surprised by the estimate. I expected that the move would be a partial truckload requiring a range of delivery dates. Everything proceeded promptly and with no problems. They arrived to pick up everything on time. The problem arose when called to get a window of time for the agreed delivery date when I was told that because the other load being moved at the same time had a problem and my daughter's things would not be delivered on the agreed upon date, a friday, but, instead on the following monday. This created innumerable problems for me. I was impressed that Moving Man worked very hard to live up to the original contract. In the end, they put my daughter's belongings on a truck and had two men drive it specially on the original delivery date. They were very pleasant even after getting caught in major traffic. One small item was missing from the load. After failing to locate it, Jon agreed to reimburse me the cost of replacing the item with no argument. I was very impressed with the lengths to which they went to satisfy me. I expect they did not make much profit on this job. I found them responsive and professional. I would definitely use them again!
