They were pretty good. They found a way to disassemble furniture to fit it in the house. It was a huge move. They were very well priced.

I had difficulty finding a mover who would take on a relatively small move from NYC to DC for a reasonable price. Moving Man was fair in its pricing and was willing to do the move out and the move in on the days that I requested. I packed some items but had Moving Man do the bulk of the packing. Packers were quiet and efficient. All items arrived safely at our DC home with no damage whatsoever. Delivery men were cheerful and accommodating. We have moved homes 6 times over the years. The was the easiest, most trouble-free move we've experienced.

let us know why there was a delay, very able to listen when changed mind on things, nothing broken, helped us deal with unexpected things.

The move went great. They showed up on time and were very respectful and professional. They handle our items as though it was their own. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

Everything when well, no complains.

On pick-up day, they arrived on time, and set up materials to protect the carpet in my building's common hallway. This crew had 4 or 5 men on it; each one very courteous and professional. Be forewarned, when they pack your stuff, they are not very meticulous about labeling the box. Most boxes were marked by the name of room the items came from, not the items in the box. Sometimes, their name for a room is too general (e.g., hall closet, but I had 3 hall closets. I should have labelled the closet doors with signs: "utility closet," "coat closet," and "laundry.") Lots of boxes were labelled miscellaneous. At the end of the day, not a huge issue, but lesson learned. Also, if you're not going to pack your own stuff, this is a level of 'control' you just have to let go of. You simply cannot be in every single room at the same time to identify labels and contents. They have a system of logging every box on an inventory sheet. They transported my stuff down the East Coast and gave me a estimated arrival date. In my case, the foreman of the move out was the same employee who travelled to FL and managed the move-in. The company was able to give me a specific move-in day 48 hours before. Only two men on the move in team, but I moved into a smaller apt and this went faster. They helped unpack big things and took away large packing materials, but I still had plenty of boxes left to unpack myself, e.g., they didn't place plates in cabinets for me. They reviewed the inventory sheet with me to make sure I verified that every box packed in Brooklyn, arrived at my new place in Miami. This was my first time moving so many belonging such a far distance. I would highly recommend them. I don't recall being dissatisfied with anything in the pre-moving process, nor the move itself.

From the moment I contacted John, who came to do the estimate himself, everything couldn't have gone more smoothly. This was not an easy move as a fair portion of our stuff was going into storage, so we had to make sure to clearly mark everything, and even then, we still had to direct the guys to mark the big items properly so that they got loaded on the truck in the right order. What I was most impressed with, aside from how efficient and quickly the guys worked, was how much care they took wrapping all our stuff. I WISH that the specialized antique movers I had hired a year earlier to move an heirloom chest had taken 1% of the amount of care that Moving Man's guys took with every single item of our stuff. Everything was securely wrapped either with corrugated bubble wrap or blankets, depending on the intended destination. Unlike my experience with other movers, not a single item touched my walls (newly painted, I might add) or was broken except for one glass that I had packed myself. Not too bad for a fairly complex move with lots of moving parts, literally and figuratively. I would definitely recommend them and use them again, though I hope not to have to move again for a very long time. Even with the best movers, it just ain't that much fun!

Price: We received 4 quotes from Angie's List movers and we felt like Vladimir's was the most accurate and fair (one other provider was lower, but it was apparent that they would charge us more if we choose them). In the end, they we ended up getting a $200 refund because we had slightly less stuff. Service: Very responsive Packing: We packed most of our stuff ourselves, but they packed our paintings, lamps and big fragile items. Everything arrived safely! Furniture: We have several antiques and they did a great job moving them The Driver: Our driver led the whole moving process very carefully and efficiently. He was amazing! He made sure every box arrived safely and was accounted for.

Estimating process went well. The estimator was on time and answered all questions. On the plus side, all of our items made it to the new house. The movers confirmed placement of all furniture and came up with a good workaround when our Queen box spring didn't fit the staircase in the new house. They were very polite. On the minus side, the packing was erratic and ultimately very expensive. Most of the kitchen items and glassware was very well packed. Toiletries, toothbrushes, etc. were thrown into a box with no wrapping, right next to an unwrapped bathroom plunger. They went straight into the garbage. The knife block was wrapped in paper with the knives inside and not labeled--when I unwrapped it, knives fell onto me and onto the floor (I was fortunate not to have been cut). The movers took away all the wardrobe boxes without asking. They were expensive and would have been useful. We were originally told that the movers were going to pack us on one day and move us the next. That's not what happened. We were packed over two days, which meant that our move time was pushed back. Instead of moving in the morning, we moved in the afternoon and lost a half day's worth of PTO to unpack the new house. I would recommend this company for a move but not for packing services.

It went very well. Four friendly guys showed up at our midtown apartment at 9:30 am and they finished at 7PM. Nothing scratched - not even a single item. They worked extremely hard. We had elevators in our building in midtown. However, we lived on 3 floor in our house in Brooklyn with no elevator. Can you believe these four men (Joan, Carlos, Israel and Eddie) did not scratch a thing as they carefully carried everything from downstairs to the third floor? Amazing job, guys! John came to my midtown apartment sometime in May for the quote. Originally we were planning to move at the end of June. Later we had to reschedule for the end of August. One more thing - Because my wife and I were concerned about the staircase in our house in Brooklyn, I asked if John would be willing to come to our house to take a look to make sure there would not be any problems carrying the king size mattress to the third floor. He did not say no and he came one Saturday to our house - very nice man. By the way, the king size mattress and the headboard had to be lifted up through the front porch. These guys did a great job with that too. I had used other moving companies before, but this company is, so far, the best. Of course, without a doubt, I recommend Moving Man to anyone. Thank you, John and the rest of the team. Wait, I cannot leave Ivan out. Ivan works in the office. I spoke to him a couple of times. I find him to be very friendly, courteous, extremely pleasant, patient and professional. To the public, please ask for Ivan if you call the office with any questions. You will agree with me that he is one of the best.

Let me start by saying I never write reviews. Ever! But this company is so good, I had to write something. John, the owner, provided us with the estimate and he was spot on with the amount of time it would take to pack, travel and unpack. Best of all, he gave us a very very reasonable quote. He even took his time to answer all of my concerns. On the day of the move we were all very anxious. We had 4 men arrive as promised. They were all polite, professional and introduced themselves when they exited the truck. We had hardwood floors and fairly heavy wooden furniture. They did not scratch, damage, chip or break a single item (including the floor). Everything was carefully wrapped. Joan, the foreman, neatly organized all our boxes in the truck so everything fit perfectly. These young men worked extremely hard and never stopped to fool around. They arrived at our new house shortly after me and they were back to work. There were a number of times we changed our minds where we wanted to put some items and they smiled and carried it to the next room. When the foreman came to bill us I was expecting the estimate to double considering all their work, but I was wrong. There were no surprises no unexpected charges. I sincerely want to thank John and the guys for making this day as painless as moving can possibly be. I strongly recommend this company if you want great work for a great price.

Movers on time- packed loaded and unloaded in timely manner. Very efficient. However some damage to sofa to be settled w/ company. Once damage claim settled, rating may change.

The process of moving is never an easy or cheap affair, but Moving Man Inc helped us to make the move (which seamed near impossible) actually possible and within (very close to) the quoted time/money My few tiny gripes are these: a) Instead of scheduled 9am, provider showed up at 9:40am (it was taken into account at the end of the day) b) Price - I know it was expected, still I wish it was a bit cheaper

I had obtained 3 quotes from moving companies and I selected this because of nice, polite customer service and ability to accommodate my resource on the day of the move. Miguel and his crew did a fantastic job: arrived on time, protected everything very well, (I have moved several times before across the world), did not stop a minute; I even inspected their work and I was impressed by how clean and tidy it was; they cleaned after themselves. All handled very efficiently, professionally with me there. Eric, the coordinator was professional, polite, and provided excellent customer service.

The move was smooth, they were careful with everything. We were satisfied.

Moving Man Inc.'s Jon met with me exactly at the time he said he'd be there. He viewed the house, gave me a quote and we set the day for moving. Jon was courteous, pleasant and answered all my questions. The movers were scheduled for 9am and they arrived promptly at 9am. A crew of five arrived and without missing a step, walked through the house with me and took inventory off all the furniture including delicate and fragile items. They set up the truck near the driveway and didn't put down a ramp because it would make people walk around the truck. That's consideration! The proceeded to box any items I was unable to do and began identifying the items as stored or delivered. Once they had organized the furniture, etc., the move began. During the whole process, they were careful at moving, gentle with fragile objects and took every precaution to insure nothing was scratched, dented or broken. It took approx. 4 hours for the entire process. At the end of the job they helped me move some small items from the house which would have been difficult for me to move alone. They left but not before one last walkthrough with me to make sure nothing was left out or left behind or mislabeled. They did a quick cleanup and departed, taking their trash with them. Again, very considerate. The next day, they arrived at the second location with some of the old furniture and delivered it to the house. They removed the existing furniture. This part took approx. 1 1/2 hours. Again, the crew was courteous and helpful. The foreman sat with me, explained the billing, etc., took payment and left. The whole experience was painless!! Great Job!!! I am greatly satisfied.

They were on time and courteous for the estimate. They dropped boxes and packing supplies off before the move. They showed up the day of the move on time and packed and loaded quickly. They unloaded us in our new house. No problems. (They did forget to pack up one kitchen drawer, but no big deal.)
