Very well. Robert cleaned the machine and determined that it needed an additional repair. He returned the next day to complete the job.

Great: Robert came out on the same day I called, promptly during the 2-hour window he had provided. Immediately diagnosed the problem and warned me that the part required might be prohibitively expensive (he had seen similar problem with my LG fridge before). It was late in the afternoon; so he promised to check into it in the morning and get back to me with the info. Sure enough, first thing next morning he calls and lets me know the part has actually been discontinued. He recommended I get in touch with LG directly. I really appreciated his efficiency, professionalism, and helpfulness. Highly recommended.

This was the third time I used AV and each time I get great, friendly, service. Our fridge wasn't holding a temperature. Robert quickly made an appointment and was there exactly when he said. He fixed a few things (clean coils, replace timer) and hoped that would solve it. The next day it still wasn't getting cold so he scheduled a follow-up visit and already had a few thoughts about what the issues could be. Once on site he quickly identified the problem and fixed it.

I highly recommend Av Appliance for A/C maintenance. Their team was professional, punctual, and conscientious. They took each unit out of the wall, took it apart, and did a thorough cleaning. They lay down drop cloths before they started and left my apartment spotless. I appreciated that I was given a 3-hour window for my appointment, unlike another service I tried first, which couldn't give you an appointment time at all, just told you the morning of the appointment where you were in the queue. I will definitely use them again.

He was terrific. They are very good. He said the tube was not that great, but, I may have to simply replace it all together. He didn't have one with him, and if he needed to come back he would do that. It wasn't that complicated, you just had to pull the refrigerator out. It ended up not being too complicated, and I'm a handy guy, so I was able to do it myself. That repair would have been much more expensive. I wouldn't have know to do it, without him telling me.

I was very disappointed in this service. The technician failed to diagnose the problem (later fixed by Aaron's Refrigeration). He was professional but not personable, and I paid for his time although he did not resolve the issue. He tried one solution but gave up after that failed and told me it was because the freezer was too full--which turned out not to be the case (the gasket was torn, preventing the freezer from closing).

On time, worked neatly and quickly. This is the 2nd time I've used them and I totally recommend them. My air conditioning units are working much more efficiently and I'm not worried about the air they are blowing in.

They were prompt and very responsive. They are very qualified and honest about the appliance. He said that the washer could not be fixed because that the part that was needed had been discontinued. They came on time though, and they tried hard to get the appliance fixed, unfortunately we just had to replace it.

It went amazingly well. We are customers for life. Juan Carlos is fair, thoughtful, and dedicated to solving problems without taking advantage of his customers. I would recommend him to anyone, anytime,.

I called one day, and was told a technician would call back within 30 minutes. No one called. But when I called the next today, they arranged for a technician to come that same day. Robert came very punctually, did the job, and also explained how using the self-clean function can wear out the igniter. Terrific service. I also was able to use an Angie's List coupon

My stove valve wasn't working, one ended up working and one didn't. After that there was an issue with the oven and no light comes on and it doesn't work. Hes had to come back time and time again and I called him today to come back and he told me he was out of state. He told me he will be back Tuesday but every time he comes out he finds something else is wrong and then gives me the run around. Robert is who I've been working with.

The company was incredibly responsive. They answered my first call right away and we were able to set up the visit for the next day. There were no hassles with them providing their insurance information for the building. Victor came on time. He diagnosed the problem, and although we have to buy a new machine, we were very happy with how he communicated with us. The price was excellent compared to other quotes we received. Would definitely hire them again!

It wasn't worth fixing after they determined what was wrong (bad magnatron). I had had home depot the day before who told me they couldn't take out the microwave because of cabinet molding. Robert asked if they tried. I said no. He offered to see if he could take it out. With some maneuvering he was able to take it out and he even took it for me. Now I know they can install a new one because I saw how he took it out. He was very helpful.

Robert answered my call immediately. He told me that he had someone who was experienced with older appliances. We made an appointment for 8-12AM the next day. I was told that there would be a minimum fee of $75. Victor called me a little after 8AM to say that he could be at my house in about 10 minutes and he did come right over. I recognized him as the person who repaired my refrigerator previously and felt very confident. He checked out the oven. It seemed that the metal tube that connects to the oven's pilot light needed to be disconnected, cleaned out and reconnected. Victor did all of that in just a few minutes. He was very careful, checked that it worked several times and had me turn the oven on and off. It's working fine now. I couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you!!!

I called and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. About a half hour later I got a call from their repairman saying he could come the same day I called. He was professional, worked quickly and showed me what the problems were and how he fixed them. He had all the parts he needed (in his tool chest or nearby van), which was great. They were here for less than an hour.

I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day (3 hour window). The repair person came on time, diagnosed the issue quickly (the water line attachment had come loose), and called me right away to discuss what he had done to fix it.

Went fine. Showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, replaced the part. Complete in 40 minutes.

Everything went well. He knew what he was doing and it was quick and fast.

I called around 8:30 am; the dispatcher assigned me a time between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Around 3:40 the repairman called, and said he would be there in 20 minutes or so; he showed up exactly on time. As described above, he had me show him what was wrong and describe what I had previously observed, he then checked the various shut-off valves to make sure that I hadn't accidentally turned off the cold water supply (I hadn't), and then checked the cold water inlet filter, which is where the problem turned out to be. Total time spent: 30 minutes (including packing and writing out the invoice). Total charge: $80 for house call, plus $70 for an hour of work. I was surprised at the labor fee; I had assumed that the $80 I had been quoted over the phone for the house call would include the first hour's labor. Had I been told that the minimum bill would be $150, I might have made a different decision about repairing my $300 (replacement cost) washing machine! Everything else about the experience was good, and I would certainly consider using this service again, if I have a more expensive appliance that needs to be repaired. The repairman, in addition to being prompt and successful, appeared competent and knowledgeable, though with my simple problem that was so easily fixed I have little to go by. This is my first time using Angie's list; I was pleased with how easy it was to find what I was looking for and the information provided on potential services.

Great. called AV, they came next day. Very communicative. Refrigerator was diagnosed, defrosted, control board replaced - all within 1 hr. Great guy, great communication. Everything works! Very competent. Reasonable priced. They are in my book for to go to!

First let me say that I never write reviews. But the service call was so poor, I could not help but respond. They did in fact fit me into their work load. but as I said, never told me that it would happen. It was a surprise to me. Victor was very nice but he made it clear that he could not replace the resistors - and that no other repair company could solder them on either. He said if that happened I would have to replace the whole control panel. He looked at the control board and saw no problem. Then he replaced the wax motor - but didn't know how to do it - so I had to show him on you tube. He still broke the old one taking it out. We then tested it. with absolutely no change. Specifically it continued to start the spin cycle, but then never really got started. He sat through several tries - and I could see he was getting frustrated. He then saw that someone else had done work on the wires - and I told him that someone worked on the washer 13 years ago - but it worked. He then took apart the split wires and reconnected them and said he had to go. He said he spent way too much time on the washer and he had other calls to go to - and that after he leaves I should run the washer again - now with it all put back together again. If I still had problems, it was probably the pump - since there were a couple of teaspoons of water in the drum. Then he asked me to pay for the service call. Which I did - as he did spend time with me. However, after he left I did as he said and I tried to run the washer - now it won't even start the spin cycle - it's even worse then before. Must have been those wires....

replaced part but it did not fix issue. brought wrong part next time, but persevered and finally replaced control board, needed another visit to fix disconnected wire . were always friendly reliable and responsible. great communication. would recommend and use again.
