Description of Work: He (Henry) corrected efficiently the leak stemming from the freezer compartment that was draining into the refrigerator.

Description of Work: The repairman was competent, understood the issue and repaired the refrigerator in short order.

Description of Work: They fixed a refrigerator that was not staying cold. They quickly diagnosed and explained this issues and their recommended repair plan. They also quickly and efficiently performed the repair.

Description of Work: The only redeeming part of this experience was that I was only charged $80. My washer stopped working. I found AV on Angie's list. Two men came, said they thought my pipes were probably frozen and that I should wait for them to thaw. Then the bill- $80 for the visit plus labor and parts = $175. I looked guffawed. I told him that that price didn't seem fair since it was still not working. And he only charged me 80. I appreciated that. Days go by. And days go by. And it still isn't working. As I'm about to find a plumber because I assume it's a bigger issue than frozen pipes, I first call AV back. They said they would come back in a few days, and only charge me if they could fix it. They came and in moments I hear "it's working". I'm so excited and I asked them what they did. They said they turned on the water. Supposedly, the first guys the week before turned off my water when they thought the pipes were frozen. They failed to tell me this very important fact when they left and told me to just wait a few days. |I said thank you. They didn't charge me and left. Happy ending is that it is working. And that they didn't dare charge me again, but the whole experience was laughable and I will never use AV appliance again.

Description of Work: I called the company and described what I needed repaired on my dryer. They called me back in the middle of a blizzard telling me to go to a parts store and get A and B part and in great detail taught me on the phone how to install these two parts. I followed their direction, called the parts store they recommended and the parts were received promptly. I was able to install the parts and my dryer immediately was fixed.

Description of Work: Tech came quickly and diagnosed the issue as a power supply failure with my microwave. Due to the cost of the built-in microwave, we replaced the power supply. Tech was good at explaining the issue and also left the defective piece once they replaced it with a good piece. I like that they left it. Would do business with them again.

Description of Work: They provided me an honest second opinion on the repairabilty of a dishwasher. They provided me an honest quote that was in line with what my first repair person had told me.

Description of Work: It was a small problem that required a lot of work - blown thermostat/fuse deep in the back of our ThinTwin dryer. So a lot of heavy lifting was involved. The guy was great and the machine works. This is a 20-year old machine that performs great and worth our repairing.

Description of Work: Came to check out a broken dishwasher. Diagnosed the problem as a bad control board which needed to be replaced. Quote for repairs was similar to cost of a new machine and tech recommended replacement rather than repair.

Description of Work: They connected an ice maker to my new fridge for me, requiring to build a water line. They did a great job - punctual, polite, efficient!

Description of Work: The provider asked for both my address and phone number after I contacted them through Angie's list. They gave me a 3 hour window. I arranged my work schedule accordingly but they not only failed to show up they also neither called or emailed. I find this totally unacceptable and urge you to remove them from your recommended providers list.
