Victor called before coming, he arrived on time, and he was extremely competent and professional.

I'm always apprehensive when I need to have appliances repaired, fearing being taken advantage of since I know so little about appliances! My refrigerator was leaking from the bottom of the refrigerator, leaving a puddle on the floor every 3-4 days (a medium sized to sometimes large puddle, requiring a lot of paper towels to mop up). This had been going on for a year (never addressed it due to my before said apprehension!). Then my dishwasher started leaking, so I finally called a AV appliance service based on Angie list reviews. The repairman arrived on 12/22 early (he called to see if that was ok) and checked both appliances. He leveled the dishwasher and replaced a broken piece on the handle. He checked the refrigerator and said he didn't see any apparent reason for the leak but he tightened all the tubing. He suggested we replace the tubing because that would solve the problem, but he left it up to us. We decided to go ahead with replacing the tubing and had a follow up appointment for 1/7. He came back to do that repair, however the appliances did not leak in the past two weeks so we decided to wait. Whatever he did on the first visit worked! We thought he might push us to replace the tubing but he was very thoughtful and professional and said just call if the problem happens again. I would definitely use this business again and hope to have the same repairman ( I believe his name was Roberto).

The repair person analyzed the problem, told us the price. We agreed and they professionally corrected the problem. I would use them again.

As far as the service he provided, it was excellent. He was respectful of my home, he did great work, went above and beyond. As for the price, I don't know if it was competitive, I suspect it was on the high side. But I'm happy to pay a little more for the quality of work he provided. My only complaint was that he did not come within the prescribed window. He was scheduled to arrive between 8-10 as I knew I had to leave for an appt from 12:30-2. He arrived at 12:15, didn't leave him enough time to get the work done, so he had to come back at 3. Other than that, I'd highly recommend.

Extremely efficient - highly recommend!

The technicians that came were on time and very professional. Explained everything as they went along and even cleaned the niche where the fridge stood once they had moved it to access the electronics. They even took their shoes off without being asked. Would highly recommend!

The technician determined quite quickly what the problem was, and advised us on our options. We ultimately decided to purchase a new oven instead of moving forward with further repairs. But, we were happy with the service and troubleshooting we received.

When I called and said my refrigerator / freezer was not working they said they would send someone within the hour. Robert was here within 30 minutes. He looked at the refrigerator and advised that it was not worth putting any money into it. That he could do a temporary fix but it wouldn't last long. I appreciated his professionalism and his frankness. I will absolutely call this company again and highly recommend them.

Contractor arrived on time, came prepared, inspected refrigerator and determined the problem pretty quickly. Work was done fast. Very friendly and professional

AV was friendly and helpful. They made some suggestions of how to fix the problem before coming over in order to potentially avoid an unnecessary repair. Ultimately we needed them to help out. They were timely and charged us the quoted price. There were no surprises, they warned us ahead of time about potential problems and worked quickly.

My ice maker was not working in my \fridge. They came and diagnosed the issue. It wasn't fixed at first but they followed through and ordered another part at no additional charge and fixed it. They were on time and efficient and very professional. I would use them again!

A nice gentleman answered the call. I stated the issue that the freezer is not cooling. He was very interested in sending someone over right away which was awesome. However, when I mentioned our building will need insurance certificates, he mentioned it may take couple days to come up with it. If I prefer rush service, there is $20 extra added on top of the service fee. I forwarded a sample of a certificate to him and he responded with "we are not able to fulfill the insurance requirement." I was a bit surprised since all other companies I have ever called on can fulfill the requirement. Overall, it may not be a place I call if you need immediate help or if you live in a building that requires liability insurance for entry.

.I have used this company to service stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines and AC units and have always been very satisfied with the rapid response, even on holidays. I am the owner of many apartments(55) with appliances that often need repairs, I use them whenever I need a repair and highly recommend them.

Victor was the nicest and most professional appliance repairman that I have ever experienced. He was also knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He was in and out in 40 minutes. He had to disassemble a lot of things to get at the igniter. He also used my vacuum to clean the inside of the oven and the mess that fell onto my kitchen floor. Victor is amazing.

This is the second time I have used this company and I am writing another review because of that. The first time was the fall of 2013 when my oven would not start. They came over and replaced my igniter which had gone bad. They were professional and prompt and offered a good price last time. Only 18 months after that, it seemed my igniter had gone bust again. So, I called them back to look at it since it had not been very long. They showed up at the early part of the 4 hour appointment window and explained why the igniter had gone bad again. I use my oven a lot. However, since that particular part of the oven should last 2-5 years depending on use and it had not lasted even 2 years, they gave me a discounted price on doing the same work again. He was professional and clean and quick, and even gave me some free advice for the upkeep of my oven to hopefully make this igniter last a little longer.

The serviceman came out the day after i called. I explained that the washer would not start and i could not open the door to the washer even when the power was off. He removed the bottom panel of the dryer and manually opened the door. He then told me that the machine was not working properly because of the door, and he needed to replace the closing mechanism. The next day he came with a new one and replaced it and the machine still did not start. He kept looking in the top and bottom of the machine, but appeared to be unfamiliar with the inner workings of the washer. I told him it had to be an electrical problem, since the cycle lights were on even when the power was shut off, and he needed to run a diagnostic. After 15 minutes of simply staring into the machine he said someone else would have to come look at the machine. At that point i told him to remove the new closing mechanism and replace the original one since that wasn't the problem. He did so and left, and my machine still did not work. I choose to call a different provider who located the source of the problem.

They did an excellent job. I would recommend them, and I will be using them again in the future.

The service person came in and basically told me that it wasn't worth fixing the stove. However, I think this could have been diagnosed over the phone or at least I could have been told that there was a great chance that the stove would not have ben worth fixing. If I had been asked a few questions when I set up the appointment and given this advice, I could have been saved a service call of $80 plus tax. So, at the end of the day, I am out the service call of $80 and have to buy a new stove.

Cost was based on an Angie's List Big Deal. The technician was prompt and helpful and made the repair competently, but the problem has since recurred.

I was thrilled that the business was able to provide me such fast service. However, when the service person arrived to figure out what was wrong with my fridge, he had a lot of trouble. He figured the problem was the thermostat but didn't know how to disconnect it. He told me he had a replacement one, but then brought in the part and said it wasn't the same. Then he told me he'd try to figure out how to put the fridge back together. When you have a provider come to your house to service and appliance, you do not want them guessing how to do the electrical work/connections. They should know. My father had to hold the light for him and help him. He told me it would be at least until the next week until the part came and that I still owe for the service call even though they didn't fix anything for me. He also was not very clean in his work area. He continually dropped small screws and things on the floor. I have a toddler. Now I need to make sure there are no choking hazards in the area. End result: I am out $90, my fridge is not fixed and I've lost the chance to get another provider out here today since I called these people. It was a waste of my time and my money. DO NOT USE. UPDATE: The company requested an update and I can assure them that the other company I contacted to fix the company came the following day, had all necessary parts to fix the refrigerator stocked and with them and ended up charging me less for the total fix than I was quoted by this company. I stand by my statements.

Very pleased with the service. They worked around the tenants schedule. Robert was very very helpful.

I went to AV Appliances who replied to our emails right away, stayed on the phone to understand the issues, and came over the following days. They explained what the other company did wrong and gave us some options. They were professional, timely, and responsive. I'll only always use them going forward.

They are highly organized and did a nice job. They had remembered to bring a part with them for my refridgerator as well from the last job that they did for me. Each time they have come, they have been prepared, and able to efficiently complete the work in one visit.

They did a good job. I was please with the service and would use them again if needed.
