They come every week as needed. They are always very Friendly, my mother loves seeing them. If the lawn doesn't need to be mowed they don't come and don't charge, since I live out of town it's nice to know things are being taken care of and we're not being taken advantage of.

They came and sprayed the sidewalks and all the other areas on July 8th. I was told that a business card would be put in my door so that I knew when they had come. I have a very young daughter and did not want her or anyone waking around the chemicals. I received a call on Monday the 11th saying that they had sprayed on Friday. My daughter and I had gone out to run an errand at the store for no more than two hours on Friday which must have been when they came. We came back from the store and played in the yard and around the trees not knowing they had just sprayed. We played out in the yard every day over that four day period before I got the phone call. I called on the 21st or 22nd of July to let them know that the areas that they had sprayed was all brown and ready to go. They said ok but did not tell me when they would be coming to the house. They showed up early on the 27th or the 28th. Three guys showed up in the morning and in the afternoon there were six to seven guys here to finish the job. They edged up the yard, pulled up the dead weeds in the beds, around the house, around the pool and shed, and around the trees. They put mulch down around all of the trees, the house, and in the flower beds. They also put stone around the pool and shed. All they did in the back corner was cut down the weeds. They also did not trim the bush that they were supposed to. They were here until about 4:30 and had put in a long days worth of work. However, when they left they did not come to the door and explain that the job was not finished and what would be happening next. About a week went by and we called them to see what would be happening with the rest of what needed to be done. We did not hear anything back. My daughter who is very young did accidentally dial them so I do not know if they thought that they were speaking to us. We received the bill about two weeks after they had been at our home. The bill was about $80 more than we had been quoted and agreed upon. I was told in the beginning that the job would cost between $800-850 and that the only way that would change would be if the back corner of our yard needed more done then what they could see with all of the weeds in the way. Since the back corner of the yard had not been finished we did not know why the bill had increased. We called the day after we got the bill which was a Saturday. My husband spoke to them and was trying to figure out why the bill had gone up and if they were coming back to finish the yard. We were told that if they came back to finish up the back corner it would take about three hours and that we would be charged for another whole day of labor plus materials. When asked about the bill, my husband was told that the job cost them more than they expected because of the number of guys they had used. The person speaking to my husband started to get frustrated and said that they did not have all of the paperwork in front of him and was telling my husband how it had cost him more than he thought. My husband ended the call as the person he was talking to was getting more upset by saying that he was not trying to put him on the spot and would call on Monday when they would be in the office. My husband called on Monday and left a message. It is not Tuesday and we have received no call back. The work that they performed was great. The parts that are completed and it is most of the yard, looks great. The stone and mulch were done really well. Everyone who was at my house was very nice and professional. My complaint is with the lack of communication and the fact that my bill was raised with no explanation.

Not sure the maple will survive as the root ball was hacked to shreds when they moved it...there was nothing left of it. A root ball is supposed to be left intact and is supposed to be twice the width of the largest part of the tree.
They did a good job removing the large bushes and picking up the yard.
The edging was a joke. It is extremely uneven all around. They were supposed to edge the lawn parallel with the sidewalk. Instead, it is off by a foot and a half from one end to the other...and we are only talking about a 7 foot sidewalk! The other edge around the main bushes in front, slopes away from the house by at least two feet from one end to the other.
They never did edge the curb that I had asked them to do. In fact, they just left around noon and never came back! No phone calls. Nothing to ask if there was anything else I needed or if everything was ok. Horton offers his crew for half day or full day and his rate is fixed. I was billed for the half day rate, but to me, three and a half hours of work is not exactly a half day.
They only planted two out of six bushes. The other four were just left on the patio! They didn't even rototill the dirt and remove the dead vines at the location where these four bushes were to go...AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT!
I was so disappointed that I did not want them back to fix anything or even give them a chance to make it right...not that they would have anyway...read the other reviews online.
