They were recommended by our plumber. We were quoted $1200 to install a chimney liner and clean out the chimney and fireplace. When they arrived, they had to break three bricks -- so they charged us an additional $300. We gave them the check and left them here -- to run errands. When we returned, we found the inside of the fireplace had not been touched. It was filthy. My husband called the company immediately to ask why they hadn't cleaned the fireplace. We were told someone would get back to us. After my husband calling several more times, they finally said they did not clean the inside of the fireplace. Although that was included when we first called them. Misrepresented what their services would include and raised the price by $300 to break three bricks!!!!

It went well. The work was clearly laid out and shown to me what needed to be done. Once I agreed to the work, it took 90 min to complete. They left the job clean and everything in good working order. Not ever having this work done before, I was only a little surprised at the price for the amount of parts and the short time needed to complete the installation. I realize though that it might just be standard and a little expensive. Just glad it wasn't a 5 hour job. Generally though I was very pleased with the service and would use this company again as well as recommend them to others.

I just purchased the house a few months ago. I called Ageless Chimney based on reviews on Angie's list. They were very punctual and professional. I was pleased with the work. They gave me a few quotes for needed chimney repairs. Such as new lining of the fireplace chimney and mortar work on the fireplace exterior. I will contact them when I'm ready to do that project.

I originally hired them to do a chimney sweep but as my chimney was in such disrepair and it was time to get a whole new one. I was given an estimate which they honored 4 months later and had the whole thing redone. They arrived on time, took down my chimney to the roof line, installed new bricks and stucco, a stainless steel liner and cap. Afterwards they cleaned up and the job was done to my satisfaction. Additionally, I had to call them back to re-install my clothesline and they came back as promised and took care of them. Would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

The chimney was leaking and they put blue stone on top of the slope to cover the holes. I don't have any leaks now when it rains. They came out to do a survey and I told them the problems and they determined what needed to be done. They discussed the additional cost and I agreed. The price was higher than expected but they were on time and professional.

Our feelings on it is mixed. The lining is fine, but the brick work was shoddy and not satisfactory. We asked them to come by and fix this, but they have not yet. It's been about a week.

They did exactly what was on the contract. They arrived on time and were very neat and clean. They did a really great job! They even typed up a letter for our homeowner's insurance to certify this job. We would absolutely hire them again.

I had no problems with the actual work. It took him a while to finally come out for the work and I had to call more than once. Once we finally scheduled the service, he was on time.

We had to reschedule our initial appointment but they came to inspect the chimney and said there was additional work that needed done. They gave me an estimate of $1,200. They explained what needed to be done and why. They also told me they would need to do the repairs before they cleaned it. I told them I would have to discuss the repairs with my wife and get back with them. They communicated well bu did notexplain where or how I could get a refund for the deal.

The chimney was collapsed from inside.These guys came and quickly cleared out the debris and installed a new liner. Were very professional. Haven't started using the burner yet but waiting to see if all works properly once the burner is fully operational.

Crew was courteous,neat,very professional.

It turned out fine and satisfactory. The job was simple and quick. I have no complaints. The service was fine and fair. They said they would be here between 10 and 12 and they were actually here a little before 10. They seemed to be very professional.

They did an outstanding job. Very professional and courteous. All phone calls were returned promptly and ability to reschedule was made very simple. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend Ageless Chimney for chimney service. There are a lot of aggressive chimney companies out there who try to scare you into doing expensive work on the spot by saying your family will be exposed to carbon monoxide. They show up to do a chimney sweep, and then do a hard sell on an extremely overpriced job. Ageless Chimney gave me an detailed recommendation, and a estimate that was fairly priced. They did not try pressure me in any way. They showed up on time, were very friendly, and did a great job cleaning up. I had a plumber friend over a few days later for another job, and I asked him to take a look at the work they did. He said they did a great job, and could not find any issues.

I got the deal from Angies list for a chimney clean and inspection. The company called me right away. I spoke with Cheryl (same name as me so I could not forget) she was pleasant and accommodating. We made the appointment for October 1st. They offered me sooner but I was away. They advised me they would be at my house between 9 am and 11 am. There were there right around 915am. They came with three guys that were professional and clean. (my husband was home for the service and he did not get their names) They advised me that my chimney was ok but I need a new liner for my oil burner chimney. Which I can understand as it is an old house. When I decide to that service i will definitely contact this company again. I give them an A + Thank you Ageless Chimney and Angies List!

Everything went as expected. The team was professional and cleaned up after themselves. (As if they were never there!) It was an easy experience.

They arrived as scheduled. Bobby went to the roof and took a video of my chimney's condition and showed me exactly what needed to be done. Extra work was needed as the flashing was peeling away from the house and the chimney had water seepage. We agreed on a price and work was done promptly. They were very quick and efficient. Everything was done as planned and was left clean. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

They put the liner in the chimney which it needed. I heard about them through a neighbor and through angies list and they had saved me a good amount of money.

It went fine. Two guys showed up in the morning; told me about the extra work that needed to be done and returned in the early evening. The cost ended up being $300 more than the deal, but I agreed with the need to do it. The scheduling of the work did not go as planned. The first date was cancelled by the company. The second was scheduled for the morning but I was told it had been set for the afternoon. When I mentioned that I had their voice mail telling me they'd be coming in the morning, they sent the guys as originally scheduled.

I called to set up an appointment. They came on time the next day. The price they gave was 10000 less than the previous contractor. He explained how the price was determined. I made an appointment for the next day. The workers showed up on time, completed the work quickly with a smile on despite the 90+ heat in the sun, cleaned up beautifully and left.

He told me i needed a new liner and offered to cut some branches off my roof but as i had a lot of work done this year I told him I couldn't afford it this year.

The provider never originally contacted me as the e-mail stated they would. I contacted them and set up two appointments. Both appointments have been canceled. They did offer to do the work on a Saturday but I am unavailable on Saturdays. The receptionist was polite and professional over the phone, the time frame just hasn’t worked out.

When he came, he had someone put a ladder up for him. I told him to be careful, as I had just had a new roof put on the house. When someone puts a ladder up against the edge, you have to be careful not to damage it since there is nothing to support the ladder. I wanted to show the owner where the issue was on the outside of the chimney, but he told me no, he wanted to look at the chimney inside the house. When he went up onto the roof, I asked him to be careful and to not step on the edge, as he had workboots on. I said to him, 'do you see where you just stepped? It is all frayed now.' And he told me, 'if that bothers you, then maybe I'm not the one for this job.' I definitely did not like how he spoke to me.

It went very well. They showed up, did the work. They were efficient. I felt the price was reasonable. When hurricane Sandy came through the storm blew the cap off of the chimney and they came immediately and put it back on. I highly recommend them. Bobby has good customer service skills.
