They inspected my roof as they promised and found no problems.

The services were great. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give them a 10. The worker who came out to my home was very friendly and professional.

They sanded and cleaned the chimney. Then they filled all ground joints with new mortar.they put in a cement crown and waterproofed my chimney as well as installed a new damper and handle. They did a great job and cleaned up any debris. I was very pleased.

The serve went well. They were very efficient workers and were in and out. The guy who did the chimney sweep did it so quickly I did not even witness the job. They were here such a short while I wonder about the job done. I have had the chimney swept the process seemed to take more time. However, there were on time and scheduling the appointment was easy.

They gave a fair price and hopped right up on the roof and got the job done. Sure they were there about 5 minutes to do the job, but I have no problem paying for the job, better them than me on the roof. | |Also had them quote on doing some basement work (they do reno too) but I've not decided on that project. They were professional in scoping out the project, and quick to get back w/a quote there. If I don't use them it will be solely on price, I would completely trust them to do the work.

After contacting Ageless Chimney, I received a response within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment. Sherwood explained the crew's work before and after they began the roof inspection. He presented the options with an estimate without making me feel pressured to purchase. We decided to allow Ageless Chimney to repair the work. They arrived the next business day and completed the work sooner than expected. They were respectful, punctual and cleaned up after themselves. They also guaranteed their work for two years. We would definitely recommend Ageless Chimney to family and friends.

They arrived on time and after inspecting the chimney from the roof, they advised that the liner was in bad shape and need of replacement. I went on roof and looked and saw that it was true. They knew that it was a lot of money (going from $29 sweeping to a possible $1800 for a replacement), and they worked with me on the price. The co-owners and a workman spent a couple of hours opening up the chimney from the outside (removing bricks as there were obstructions in the way). After completing the work, they replaced the bricks. I appreciate the fact that they were honest with me, especially telling me that the fireplace chimney liner was fine and didn't need repair/replacement. I would definitely recommend ageless chimney.

Sherwood was totally professional, tidy, friendly, and took care of a routine cleaning. We had no issues, other than maintenance. While we do not have a fireplace, nor fireplaces, the chimney still functions for our gas furnace. He suggested that we installed a stainless steel liner, at a cost of approximately $ 1500, to help ensure the integrity of the chimney. He was not pushy at all, nor did I feel that his suggestion was out of line. My husband and I will consider it, and if we choose to have the liner installed, we would call Ageless for this.

From the first call to Ageless Chimney's office manager, this entire process was a pleasure. Bob was Great. He was more professional, thorough and a bit less expensive then another Angie's List contractor, I had come over my house to look at the job. Love the Lifetime Warranty on work and parts. Would highly recommend.

Very well. They actually left the chimney cap off second fireplace chimney but after a call back they took care of it

The inspection process left the condition of the ductwork worse than before the inspection was done. High temp tape was removed from duct joints and not replaced. Horizontal duct from furnace was reinstalled askew. Two sheet metal screws were left on basement floor instead of being reinstalled to secure duct joints. Integrity of flue connection through the basement wall is compromised due to loosening of cement surrounding wall opening. Heating system was turned off to perform inspection and not turned back on. Good points: I was assured all was in order and no attempt was made to persuade me to add add'l costs or services, such as cleaning the fireplace chimney flue. It was also good to learn that the furnace flue had a stainless lining and, since the system was gas, no inspections would ever be needed. When I called to inquire about non-replacement of the high temp tape, the technician told me none was necessary, and the breach of the cement seal should be of no concern since no CO should leak out. I would not use Ageless again because the system was left in a sloppy condition after the inspection. Ageless offered to correct it for the cost of an additional house call (3 times the cost of the inspection). Consequently, I bought high temp tape, took the ductwork apart, and reinstalled the pieces includng the replacement of all sheet metal screws, conforming the system to its prior condition. No complaints about the substance of the work performed. Putting the system back together was just unacceptably sloppy.

Arrived on time; professional and polite. Answered questions and did a good job.

I bought the prepaid deal of $14o that covered $200 of service. Turns out my chimney was wider than normal. The correct cap cost $225. They only asked for the $25 difference between the "covered amount" and the actual cost. Came back the next day with the correct cap and installed it without a problem. I thought they acted very fairly.

They cleaned my boiler chimney from the boiler to the outside top of chimney.They also inspected the system for problem areas and future problems. They also made me aware that they also provide fireplace cleaning and damper repair. They came in, provided the service, informed me of other services at a good price, no hard sell, which I really appreciated. The service provided was straight to the point, friendly and professional. ***** (five stars)

They did a good job. The guy that came out was very pleasant in the beginning. They came when they said they were gonna came and they were done and out of here in no time. The price is comparable to other people. They was just sort of a mediocre is what I was concern.

They showed up in an unmarked truck which I did not like too much. They then got to work on doing the inspection and said that I needed new lining in the chimney. I let them do the work and paid them, but now I think that I did not get a good price because I see the pricing for that work now to be around $1100.00. I did not want to grade the quality of the work because I cannot look into the chimney to see if it was done correctly.

Two men from the company came to my home to perform the service. One came in my house & said it would take about 10 minutes. He went down the basement & within a minute I heard him coming up the stairs. I said, "What's wrong?" He said that the sleeve was twisted & he couldn't do the sweeping without doing more damage. He also said that the cap was cemented (I don't know what that is). I asked him how much to fix the problem & he said about $1200.00. I just can't afford that kind of money, so he left. He was courteous & professional, & I'm glad that he told me & did not attempt to perform the service.

He came on time for his appointment and was very happy with the service done. I would greatly recommend this company to my friends and relatives as well as my neighbors.
