This is a door opening service. I don't appreciate someone trying to sell me a 1800 service when i have paid for an 150 service.

It worked out very good. The work was very nice and I thought the price was reasonable for what they had to do. They came on time and were very professional. I would use them again. They got the job done in a couple of hours. I had no problems with the scheduling.

The sweeping was fine. They recommended more work but I declined. I don't know if I would use them again, as I can probably have a relative do any brickwork and I could probably clean the chimney myself.

Bobby showed up immediately when I called. We had no heat and this company takes that as an emergency. Very nice guy, went right to work. Took a video so we could see what was blocking the chimney. We negotiated the price and he started right away. The entire job took about 2 hours. They were clean, professional and thorough. Would highly recommend to anyone. The heat is back on and I never have to worry about this issue again thanks to them.

We are new renters in our home. We were told by the our oil burner service that our chimney had a very poor draft and that it needed to be addressed immediately. We called Ageless Chimney and Bobby and Christian were here within four hours. We hoped the chimney just needed a good cleaning; after examining the chimney, Bobby told us that the reason for the poor draft is that the chimney never had a flue pipe installed and that the exhaust from the furnace and hot water heater simply floated up the chimney. To make matter worse, the chimney is not directly over the furnace or hot water heater and the situation was pretty dangerous. They agreed to wait 20 minutes until the landlord could come to the house so they could explain the situation to her. Once she gave her permission, they installed a flexible pipe which, due to the unusual layout of the chimney, involved using a jackhammer to get through cinder blocks so everything could be connected correctly. They were very professional and friendly, explained everything, and exceptionally clean! They stayed the entire afternoon to make sure this project was completed properly. Wonderful job!

Sherwood came and provided me with an estimate. I accepted the proposal and they returned 5 days later. The dismantled my old chimney and built a new chimney. They anchored the new chimney to the house using brick ties. They were clean and polite. I would have no reservations about using them again or recommending them.

Came the day we called them. They were on time, pleasant to be around and very professional. .

Bobby was very easy to work with and is very happy to answer all questions. The job was also very easy to schedule and book. We had had a new roof done last fall and I noticed then that we had some broken mortar and bricks in the top 5-7 rows and a hole in the mesh of our chimney cap. We called a couple of other Angie's List providers. One wanted to put up scaffolding, take down and rebuild the chimney from the roof line up and charge us 5,200 dollars. (I'm sure it would have been very cleanly done but the brick wouldn't match and it was way, way more of a repair than necessary.) Bobby came for the estimate and without any special prompting from us priced out what NEEDED to be done i.e. repairing the broken brink, repointing the whole thing and adding a new cap. He also mentioned that we should have a bluestone cap on the ridge which none of the other contractors spotted. The job could have been a little neater here and there (our new cap sits a little differently) but he was more than accommodating when I climbed up on the roof (with his crews' very careful help!) for inspection and asked that some mortar be added to some spots. Also should add Cheryl, who works the phones in the office, is great at communicating. She calls to confirm your appointment time and to let you know when the crew is on the way, both when you are getting your estimate and when they are coming for the actual job. Like Bobby, she is very personable. They also have a staffed phone service to take messages in off-hours so you always get an actual human being.

Phenomenal. Called yesterday for estimate today. Showed up by 11, showed my a video feed of chimney condition. Worked with me on pricing as the lead came thru Angie's list, gave good discount and completed the wok satisfactorily within 1 1/2 hrs. Bobby was courteous friendly professional and efficient. So far so good, I'm happy.

Work was performed professionally and efficiently. A yellow jacket nest had begun to form in the chimney. This was dealt with by the Ageless team using an insecticide and then quickly cemented over. The quality of work appears to be good. Time will tell on how long the new brick repair and repointing holds up. There is a 5-year warranty. Roof cleanup was performed using a brush and shovel and then a hose down. The driveway was also hosed down as part of the cleanup.

Everything was great. No complaints and would definitely use them again.

They came right away, I was very pleased with the work. It took about 3 hours of labor and they threw in the chimney cleaning for free. They were very courteous, polite, and clean, they put booties on to prevent any tracking of ash and dirt into the home. I would recommend them to anyone in the Long Island area.

When they first came out to give a free estimate, they were one hour later than the time frame. Bob, the owner, was very polite, explained what needed to be done and quoted a reasonable price for the work. They had an Angie's list deal that I wanted to buy and use towards this work, but I was told that the price he quoted was as low as he could go and that I couldn't use the deal for it. When they got here to actually do the work, they got to work immediately, but during the process, our existing, brand new, chimney cap was damaged during the demo of the existing chimney. They agreed to replace it, although I think they gave us one that was cheaper than our original. When they finished, they cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away with them. They also swept our back patio of any cement remnants. During the work, the ladder they used to reach the roof dented the gutter, but when I brought it to their attention, they were happy to readjust it. They gave us advice and pointers on other projects around our house that they noticed or discussed. Overall, they were professional and fairly priced, although late.

Bob and his 2 helpers were very professional. They showed up on time, were prepared with all the supplies and tools they needed and immediately went to work. I was expecting them to be there all day, but the were very efficient and completed the work by early afternoon. I was especially impressed with the way they cleaned up after they were finished. All the debris was picked up and they watered down the driveway and front sidewalk to ensure all the dirt was removed. The were very careful not to trample on any plants etc. I enjoyed working with Bob...he even took a photo of the before and after work so I could see the results. Very pleased with the quality of the work and company. I plan to hire them again next month to do another project.

Great service. Very responsive, quick, and professional. We had a leak in our closet that we thought was caused because our chimney needed flashing. Not the case. Robert showed up in the morning inspected the chimney, took pictures, and explained to us the real situation. The chimney actually needed a chase cover, storm collar and cap and we wanted it taken care of right away. Although the parts had to be made to fit our chimney, he made arrangements to get it done and fixed the same day. In the meantime, his secretary called us throughout the day to keep us informed of the progress and when the parts would be ready for him to come by and install it that afternoon. We also asked a lot of questions, which he was happy to answer and some were inquiries about other things we thought we needed done which he said we didn't need and explained why. He didn't try to sell us on things we didn't need- this is a big plus. And most importantly, no more leak in our closet!

They were punctual, extremely polite, worked tirelessly and always asked me to check to make sure I was satisfied. They cleaned up when they were all finished and left everything as it was before they came. I might also add that they have a wonderful secretary who calls to say they're on their way. That's very reassuring as well. I would hire this company again.

We have a leak on the roof and although we had this fixed, it leaked again! Disgusted with the quality of service of a family friend and the $20,000 fee we joined Angies list. He diagnosed, suggested a course of treatment and filled in some cracks. So far we are waiting on rain to see if we need to go to the next step but was very happy with his service.

They were good. They came on the wrong day though.
