So much to say !!!!!! Oh my lord, to begin I will be so grateful to God to put Angelo and Tina in my path. There was 5 gas leak in my house, the boiler was in a terrible condition that also needed to be change for a new one, and so many issues to repair that I didn't even know . But when angelo came home to see what was the problem he took the time to explain it to me. Compare to other plumbers that all they wanted was money and not being honest with me ,but Angelo was the opposite from day one he told me the truth and help me so much that no one can imagine all the nightmare I had to go through the house . Angelo and Tina help me throughout this difficult process, also they deal with the inspections and papers. We had an amazing experience with Angelo and Tina at Hydraulic Mechanical. If you find them, you can stop you searching, bc you will come back and hire them. Gas work is highly regulated and complicated in NYC. You need a good licensed plumber that can take good care of you as only they have the insight to the entire process with DOB and ConEdison. Hereâ s whatâ s good about them. 1.The plumber Angelo is a truly professional and knows way more than other plumbers. He not only knows the gas systems of different kinds and regulations quite well. He did a great job and also corrected the previous mistakes the other plumbers made. 2.Angelo was very honest, transparent, and trustworthy. In general, gas work isnâ t cheap. However, they gave us a very reasonable price and didnâ t charge for more than you need. (To the contrary, when we were searching, some OTHER plumber tried to rip us off for more than $20,000 by threatening us with unrelated regulations). Angelo was also generous enough to teach us simple fixes to address the minor issues that donâ t need a licensed plumber. 3.Angelo and his fellow workers are very passionate about their work and they loved their job. They went extra miles to check other issues and gave you tons of advice. They donâ t charge for anything that is outside you gas work scope. 4.Tina plays an important role in dealing with DOB and ConEdison. DOB and ConEdison often try to give you a hard time and being very inefficient. In a case of an emergency, this is a big deal. But Tina will fight along with you as a team. And together we had successfully overturned ConEdisonâ s challenge and had the gas turned on in just a few days. Also, Angelo also plays an important role in dealing with them as well. 5.Both Tina and Angelo were highly responsive and available. After the gas work was done, there were about 3 weeks time to finish the inspection, paper work, etc to have DOB and ConEdison to close their cases. And they were always there for you for the followups. We think Angelo and Tina are great and we are happy to hire them again for the future gas work!

I had an outstanding two day experience with Hydraulics Mechanical. I called and the receptionist Tina scheduled my appointment the same day at 4:30 pm. Angelo the plumber arrived a couple of minutes before. He was going to look at the gas pipe and give me a quote. But instead he detected a gas leak. I called Con Edison immediately and they arrived in a few minutes. Angelo replaced the gas pipe which was extremely corroded. It took him almost 2 hours to complete the task. I am so grateful that he fixed it because I was his last client of the day and he looked very exhausted from a long day. When he left my boiler wasn't working. I had immediately called Tina and she scheduled an appointment early in the morning the next day . Angelo arrived on time and fixed the boiler. I am so happy that I discover a new plumber that was reliable and reasonable. I recommend highly Hydraulics Mechanical.

I could write a book about the services Hydraulics has provided to my family but Iâ ll make it short and simple. My mother lives in New York, I live in Florida. We had an emergency at the house and the boiler had to be shut off due to a gas leak. Hydraulics was called at an odd time and yet they arrived to take a look at the problem. The next day the work got started and the rest is history . I am very pleased and satisfy with the work that was done at my house. . It was done exactly right and with very professionalism. The customer service this company provides to you will give you a piece of mind and you probably have them for life. They get the work done, looks clean, very professional and on time. They are always there when you need them. If any work needs to be done at my home they will be the first I call. I highly recommend Hydraulics you will not be disappointed . We hired Angelo to help us correct plumbing errors of an earlier contractor, get gas service restored and to assist in removing a stop work order. I had other plumbers refuse to take the work because of the complexity - not of the plumbing work but the administrative requirements. I was lost until I found Hydraulics Mechanical. Angelo and team came and gave me an estimate and worked with my expeditor, department of buildings and ConEd, both administratively and on-site, to get the work completed. The bureaucracy involved made this a frustrating and time consuming project, but Tina and Angelo stuck with us to align all the players, work orders, regulations etc. to successfully complete the work. I trusted Tina's guidance throughout the process and Angelo went to bat for us with ConEd and DOB inspectors - and their work was excellent too. I give them my highest recommendation - they are the BEST!

We hired Angelo for a gas shut-off situation for my in-laws residence in Queens. He acquired the necessary permits to begin the work immediately. Showed up when he said he would and completed the work in a day. We had the gas turned on 3 days after shut-off. Angelo returned after that to take care of other issues he noticed that needed to be corrected before the final DOB inspection. The inspection was completed by NYC and no other violations were noted. If you want a true professional that knows what he's doing and doesn't cut corners, hire Angelo.

Absolutely professionals!! I could not be happier with Angelo and Tina's work on my gas pipe issue. The gas company had turned off my gas because they wanted me to relocate both my meters to outside the house. Tina pulled the permit the next day and then Angelo came the day after and finished the work that same day! The rest was just paperwork and back and forth with the gas company which Hydraulics took care of every step of the way. These guys are knowledgeable, efficient, and such amazing work ethic. At one point both of them were under the weather but still managed to get the work done asap. True professionals! You can not go wrong with them!!

We had several bad surprises with our 2 family house. National Grid shut down our gas line back in December 2019... From that day, Angelo and Tina has been life saver. We had to remake all the gas piping in the house, ask for permit, ask for a new pipe in the street etc etc. Not only the job was done perfectly at a good price, they fight with us at every steps of the work to get the authorisations the fastest as possible as we were about to welcome our first baby! Long story short - our house was safe and warm right on time! Best plumber in the world, best customers services in the world. I am very happy to find him, to have him help me with my gas leakage problem, in my 2 family house. ConEd shut down my gas line due to some leakage in my service line. He came in to give me estimate, and very next day he started working, he finished his worked in just 2 days, replacing all pipe lines and putting new meters and called the ConEd to restore service. After a big help from Tina, his back office girl (whose constant conversation and emails to ConEd ) ConEd came to restore the gas line in very next day. Everything was done in just 3 days. We are very happy with their professional service. A big thank you Angelo and Tina for your help.

I've been a landlord for 24 years and I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the work Angelo did for me. He's knowledgeable, gets the job done in a timely manner, and takes his time to explain what one needs to know. He completed gas plumbing repairs and upgrades for me and I used him for my Local Law 152 gas inspection too. His office manager Tina is great to work with as well. I also feel I was charged honestly. In closing, I'm grateful I found this company. I'll use them again if need be and highly recommend them.

Angelo did a great job installing new gas pipes, removing our old iron boiler from 1935 and replacing it with a new boiler, and hot water heater. He and his assistant cane early and on time. Very diligent! Con Edison shut down our gas line 45 days ago. Con Edison only gives you five days to get the job done (called an EWN) We had to have extensive work done and Con Ed required the Building Department to give gas authorization before Con Ed would turn on the gas. All this takes time and paperwork. Not fair that Con Ed puts that extra burden which is why it took so long to get reconnected to gas. Tina, did a fantastic job from the office end in filing the necessary documentation that was required. She was great at communicating with me and keeping us informed. We highly recommend Hydraulics Mechanical.

You need this plumber! They are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, competent, reliable, & honest. We were shut down by National Grid due to a gas leak. Other companies said they didn't know about or there was no such thing as an Emergency Work Order, & it would take weeks/months to get the gas back on. We spoke with Hydraulics Mechanical on a Tuesday, they gave us an asbestos inspector reference that came the same day, they did the work on Thursday, & by Saturday we had our gas back on. They even came out on Saturday to make sure our 70 year old water heater would start up again.

As new homeowners to an old house, when we discovered a gas leak and got our gas shut off by National Grid, we were very panicked to hear that getting gas back would require a major overhaul of all our existing old systems. We used HomeAdvisor and got referrals for three different plumbers. While the cost was fairly similar across everyone, we chose Angelo because he quoted a far shorter time period to get gas (in days) versus everyone else who thought it would take several weeks, and his scope of work was far more complete. Angelo's approach was to replace the majority of our gas piping which would definitely solve the problem. The other two plumbers were quoting a piecemeal approach to testing and repair, which meant the cost estimates were a "best estimate" and without certainty. I'm very excited to write that we just got our gas restored in three business days! Angelo and his team arrived on time and worked very hard to replace all of our gas piping and to get everything code. The team was hugely professional, deeply experienced in this type of work, and most importantly, got our gas back very quickly. In addition, Tina (who manages the office) is very responsive, professional, and courteous. After getting our emergency gas back, we now have one more building inspection to go, with Angelo laying out details. In short, we highly recommend Hydraulics Mechanical for gas line repair and work. They delivered exactly as promised and made a very stressful situation for a new homeowner much better.
