I was very disappointed with him, he sounded different from what he did on the phone gave me one estimate over that phone and when he arrived at my house he told me something different. But he was very responsive.

Despite advertising for all of Nassau & Suffolk County, the provider stated it wasn't worth the cost to travel to the Hamptons.

Not good. He cancelled out for some reason. I finally found someone else.

a few delays due to weather and another job they were involved in. job was done neatly and adequately but there was a lot of extra involvement on my part for a rather simple job

Brad and his crew were excellent! Did a great job for a reasonable price. Very professional. We were thrilled with the results! They came in the morning when they said they would and finished the whole house in one day! Would definitely recommend!

It went great! They did a fantastic job! They were really nice, they did exactly what they said they were going to do. The house came out better than expected, so I am very happy. I would definitely recommend them to others!

Absolutely displeased with all work done. First the contractor told me he would have 3 painters come out and do the work, after some scheduling problems they only managed to have 1 come out. A gentleman representing Pete's Painting came in behalf of B&B. First he started off by telling me I needed 3 gallons of paint, which I thought was absurd. Turns out he only ended up using a half gallon. On top of that, there are areas of the house that were not painted properly and there is paint on my floor and ceiling. He told me to my face that he had painted the edge of the windows, but when I went to look, there was no sign of any paint ever being applied. When I called to have them come out and fix the terrible job they did, they were expecting me to pay an extra 50$! Avoid B&B and Pete's Painting at all costs.

They did an excellent job! We had cedar shake on the outside of the house that was in bad condition. They were able to make it look great again. They worked around my hours to give me a time that was convenient for me. They were reliable, friendly, and were on time. They cleaned up the job afterwards & were very accommodating.

Two thumbs up, would recommend to anyone

I did not end up using the big deal because the job would have cost more than what I paid for.

Brad showed up right on time as promised, and finished the job ahead of schedule. His crew prepared the surfaces thoroughly, and put on 1 coat of primer and 1 coat of paint. They also caulked and applied wood putty wherever necessary to fill in gaps and holes. The job finished beautifully. And they cleaned up nicely before they left. I'd use Brad and his crew again.

I have an old house I was looking to paint. I needed the house powerwashed first. Brad and his company did a fine job. He also gave me an estimate on painting the house which seemed reasonable but i decided to paint the house myself.

I hired a painter based on a 8 hour day with a fee that angies list offered. I was having the room sheet rocked and had to wait about 5 weeks from the time I purchased the service and actually had him look at the room. He was quick to call and attempt to make appointment and I told him that I would call him when I was ready. When I called we made arrangements for the following week. the day before he was due to come he called and said he was in the area could he come today, I said no Im working need to keep it till tomorrow. The following day he showed up looked at the room asked me what deal I had with Angies list I told him 249,00 for the 8 hours and he said he normally gets 279,00 would I want to make up the difference ? I told him NO and that was it I did not hire him.

BRAD CAME HERE ON TIME AND WAS VERY PLEASANT. HOWEVER HE REQUESTED THAT I BUY A CEILING PAINT, WHICH I SUBSEQUENTLY FOUND OUT, WAS AN INFERIOR PRODUCT IN THE BENJAMIN MOORE LINE. I WAS NO LONGER INTERESTED BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THE JOB MIGHT BE INFERIOR ALSO. I AM NOT WILLING TO CHANCE IT. LILA STERN

My walls look fantastic and it looks like a new house. Brad came in and really took a look at the walls to explain to me what needed to be done. I can't believe how great the walls look and I will be having him come back to do more projects in my house that need repainting. I would recommend him to anyone because of his professional staff and the work he does. The first day he was there and I was unpacking I was able to speak with his staff a few times and they were all very friendly. My boyfriend and I will deffinately be calling him soon.

Brad and his crew (Peter, Tom and Todd) showed up on time at 7:30 this morning. They were all very friendly and courteous. With all 4 of the guys constantly working, they managed to finish the job in one day - whereas it had initially been expected that it would take two days. Cleanup was done efficiently. If we ever have any further painting needed, I would not hesitate in hiring them again. This is the 2nd time that we have gotten them in and we have not been sorry either time.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out good and bad, because I had to pay more than the actual big deal purchase. The painters themselves were fantastic. They were very nice and they did a good job, but I was never told that I was going to have to pay more. They charged me more because the guy said he brought in two people for the job and they were done in like 4 hours, but it was supposed to be a whole day job. So, even if we only had one painter it could have been done in a day. Regarding responsiveness, he called me but I waited a month for him to be able to come. Regarding punctuality, he was perfect.

First off let me fully disclose that I had used B&B prior to this hire. A few years ago I hired him to re-paint my living room, one bedroom, and one bathroom. The work was ok, I had no major issues with the job. It was a little sloppy but to be fair, I had requested the work be done in one day and attributed the few misses to that fact. That being said..... Hurricane Sandy destroyed my home and after the interior had been repaired, it came time to paint everything. I decided to hire Brad solely because I felt I was familiar with him and his company and again, thought they had done a decent job. Brad came out and quoted a price which I found to be fair. We scheduled a start date which coincided with my floors being installed. Once my floors were in, Brad pushed the date due to a family emergency. Ok, no big deal. After a few weeks, they finally got started. So there's no confusion, Brad does not paint. He is the boss and owner of the company. He brought 3 painters to the house and left. The job took about 5 days to complete and Brad would stop in, maybe once a day to check in on the work. Here's the worst part. This crew is so dysfunctional I could not believe it. I heard them screaming at each other during the job and came downstairs to check on them. I passed my plumbers on the way in as they were leaving because of what was going on inside. Brad and George were being physically restrained from each other by the rest of the crew. I kicked them both out and told them to work out there issues somewhere else. I should have fired them on the spot after that but I didn't. We just wanted the job done so we could move back in and so my tolerance was a lot more than normal. Brad went on to explain that he and George fight all the time, and that in fact, the last time they were here they were rolling around on my front lawn, fighting while I was out. The attention to detail was my biggest issue with the job after it was completed. Almost every pice of molding had wall paint on it. I also had paint specks all over my brand new tile floors. Every room, along every piece of molding there was paint. The guys did lay tarps, but clearly were sloppy. Brad has an answer for everything. He is a fast talking con man who thinks as long as he's talking and joking with you, then the matter at hand will be lost. When I called Brad to have someone come back to clean the paint off of my tiles and touch up many of the poorly done areas, he said no problem. I insisted that he come by personally so I could show him exactly what needed to be fixed. He came by and we went over everything. One of the problems was I paid for 2 coats of paint on each wall. After the job I could still see specks of the sheetrock through the paint in the bathroom. I don't know that even the worst painters can miss the same exact spot, twice which would have to have been the case if two coats had been applied. Brad tried to tell me that it was not sheetrock, but compound that had since gotten on the wall?? That was his answer. (It did not clean off of the wall as compound would) So, he sent George over by himself to address the problems. When George got there, he asked ME what needed to be done. He told me Brad had not given him any instruction, just sent him over. I got Brad on the phone and he proceeded to blame George, called him a liar and asked to speak to him. They screamed at each other for a few minutes before ending the phone call. George claimed that he had just been fired. I called Brad back to find out what the h*** was going on and told him he should come by the job to sort this out. Brad proceeded to scream at me and tell me that George was at fault here and that he was told what needed to be done. George went on to clean the paint off of the floors and do some touch up work before leaving. Brad refused to come by the site to speak with me. Let me end by simply advising any potential customers........ If you hire Brad to paint for you, be prepared to deal with an unprofessional crew led by a sneaky, fast talking owner. Re: Provider Response- I stand to gain absolutely nothing by writing a negative review. Hire him at your own risk.

I purchased the big deal special for $249. In my opinion this special is appropriate if you have a small job like a medium sized bedroom. Since I had additional work, I paid an extra $200 for an additional painter. We were slated to paint March 3 but since they had a cancellation they called me to see if they could come today. I definitely appreciated that because I happened to be off today. All in all I'm very happy with their work and will use them again.

They did a very good job. Could have done a better clean up job.

The owner is a con artist and is not trustworthy to be in anyone's home. I was scheduled four times and he cancelled three out of the four. He did not show up on the scheduled day and sent someone I had never seen without warning. He had so many excuses and he promised me three people, but only one showed up. I cancelled the job. I had suggested a Saturday and he said that it would cost me a fortune. I would never hire them again. UPDATE 2/24/2014: The provider is incorrect in his response to my review. We only had 525 square feet of painting to be done, not the whole house. The provider stated inaccurately that I wanted my whole house painted for $249.00.

Brad, George and Tom were completely professional. They assesed the project (living room, dining room, guest room, kitchen, hallway and bedroom) gave an extremely fair price and set to work within days of the estimate. They arrived on time and/or early. They took special care to cover items, floors and furniture not being painted. The work came out beautiful, just perfect. It was exactly what I asked for. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I have already recommend Brad and his team to other family members.

Bought a big deal for painter for a day after two emails and two calls and no response I asked for a refund and went with other painters...unacceptable after waiting 6 weeks to get a response
