Imperial Cleaning

I was very happy with the whole experience and plan to use them regularly which for me would be quarterly. It's not cheap but for $99 an hour you get a crew of 3 with a person in charge and they use their own equipment and green products - a good value. They even use their own bags to line the wastebaskets. This is clearly a professional operation. They are well organized and very efficient. Arranging for the service the first time with Hamilton over the phone was a most pleasant experience. He is a delight to work with! I look forward to calling again. Kudos too to Jose who was the team leader and to Henry who was a bonus supervisor that day. I hope Jose and his team will be coming back.

I contacted Hamiliton and he was very thorough in providing an estimate. I then scheduled a Saturday appt after Hamilton reviewed the process. The crew arrived and the head went through the entire house with us reviewing all aspects of the job. The crew took 2.5 hours just as original estimate stated. The crew was very politie and professional and did a thorough cleaning job. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them again. Joe

They showed up a half hour late. When they left the floors in the upstairs bedrooms weren't very clean but that was ok since I had workmen up there laying carpet and painting the bathroom. What I found was unacceptable was that the main floor was dirty and windows and doors still had dust on the ledges. For a white glove service charging a hundred dollars an hour I was pretty disappointed. When they called to follow up I told them how I felt like I spent a lot of money and didn't get the result that I expected. They said they could have a crew come by and touch things up. I thought that was nice. However, when they said they would call me to schedule a time they never called back.

Overall, it went very well. I would definitely recommend them.

Given their many good reviews on Angie's list, I was very interested in hiring Imperial as a regular weekly house cleaning service. Unfortunately this did not happen. I made multiple attempts get an estimate and set up a start date. I called on a Saturday (their website says they have hours on Sat) but got no answer and no voicemail, so I sent them an email through their inquiry page on their website. By Tuesday I still hadn't gotten a reply so I called them again. When I called, I was asked to call back in 10 or 15 minutes because the computer wasn't working. I called back a little while later and was told that I need to speak with Hamilton but he was already on the phone with someone else. I was put on hold for a little while and then the receptionist came back on the line and took my phone number for Hamilton to call me when he was off the phone. He did not return my call that day. Next morning I called again and asked to speak to Hamilton. I was told he was on his way into a meeting. Upon explaining the above situation and expressing my surprise given Imperial's positive reviews on Angie's List, I was told that they are not able to return calls right now because they currently have a Groupon that is making them too busy to keep up with incoming calls. It is poor business practice to sacrifice good service for increased volume. I wish them luck with their Groupon and hope it brings them much success, because today they lost a potential regular, long-term, full price customer (who doesn't typically complain much). ****UPDATE: The next day I received a call from Hamilton. He was very polite and professional on the phone (as was the receptionist each time I spoke with her). Although they were very busy, they were able to send a team of 3 cleaners to my house the next afternoon. The team arrived on time and were polite and professional. The team leader went through the house with me and discussed my cleaning needs and what could be accomplished on that visit. They estimated a 2 1/2 hour cleaning and completed the cleaning we had discussed in 2 hours. The team leader checked with me before cleaning any "special" furniture (dining room table, piano, etc.). They asked me to check where they had cleaned and willingly went back to re-clean when necessary. After they left, I saw a few missed areas and the floors felt a bit sticky once they dried, but nothing I plan to call them back to fix. The overall cleaning was average but they covered a lot of rooms for 2 hours. I am not planning to hire them for regular cleanings because I think for $99 an hour a housecleaning should be sparkling, not just average. I updated my Angie's list rating to reflect my entire experience with Imperial.

Imperial Cleaning Company were great when I called up to set up an appointment. And when I told them the size of my house, they gave me an estimate over the phone and approximately how long they were going to be here for. And they finished cleaning my house actually an hour less than what they thought it would take. They very prompt and on time, and very thorough. Imperial Cleaning Company is probably the best housecleaning company I have ever used.

I used Imperial for the first time and have to say I was impressed. They contacted me promptly and set up an appointment to see the home. They gave me an estimate that was realistic. In fact, the service was actually LESS than the bill. The crew arrived a little late but was very professional and went right to work. Any work that I asked them to do was done. They used all there own supplies, even trash bags. They were thorough and worked quickly. Before the crew left, I was asked to look things over to make sure everything is acceptable and it was. One last note, my experience in dealing with the office was excellent, Hamilton is thorough and professional. I am going to be using Imperial on a monthly basis.

Due to a death in the family, I needed to have a thorough housecleaning done immediately. I contacted Imperial and my experience with them, from start to finish, has been exceptional. The office manager arranged to have the crew at my house and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. After giving them my instructions, I stayed out of their way, occasionally returning to see how they were progressing. The unit leader asked questions when necessary. The crew did an excellent job and even cleaned the windows which I hadn't asked them to do. Overall, the work performed was excellent and the crew carrying it out was just as impressive. I paid for three hours and feel like I received every minute's worth. Upon completion, the house looked fantastic. The house was clean and smelled like it as well. I had asked for a lot and received the same in return. I must point out a couple of items that were left out which, I felt, should have been included. First, the crew missed sweeping and vacuuming under the living room sofa and recliner. Secondly, neither of the ceiling fans were dusted. These were likely an oversight and I'm giving them a pass since the rest of the place was immaculate. I might add that the office manager also reminded me to print out the 10% off coupon which I did, which saved me nearly $30. All in all, an excellent experience and I would certainly recommend them without hesitation.

We hired Imperial Cleaning to do some cleaning after we remodeled our home. There was a lot of dust and two floors. They quoted us 3 hours and we were doubtful, but the crew came and left within 3 hours and the house was spotless. They even cleaned all the windows in and out and all the bathrooms. I would recommend them in the future and will hire them again if needed. Great service, on time and within the quoted price.

They arrived on time with the team and proceeded to do what they we agreed upon in a timely fashion. The house looked and smelled much better after they left. They were clean and took all of their garbage with them.The office people to whom I spoke were also very professional. I would recommend them.

As I said I did not take their services so I cannot comment. The man that showed up to give me the estimate Henry seemed fine but did not actually listen to what I wanted. I had my daugther and her family along with her 2 small dogs visiting for the holidays. I made sure to tell him the dogs were not mine and that we would be cleaning ourselves after they left, yet when he discussed the estimate he included the dogs. I felt he did not listen to what I wanted because he already knew he would be charging me for 3 hours. Not a company I would do business with.

Imperial is very responsive - I submitted a request for a quote through Angie's List and was contacted promptly by a manager. I arranged for an estimate. The manager who came for the estimate was running about a half hour late and I had to call the office (evidently someone in the office had forgotten to call us). Otherwise, this company is very prompt. We were told that it would take 3 - 4 hours at $90 an hour to clean our house. I specifically requested that the interior of windows, sills, and blinds be cleaned, as I am 8+ months pregnant and cannot do it myself. We were happy with much of the work, but we would have preferred that the crew had taken four hours versus three, because it seemed that they were rushed and this affected the quality of their work. For example, in my bedroom and kitchen, there was still visible dirt/debris on the floor. While the outside of the stove was mostly sparkling, the knobs were still dirty and crusted with food. Though my husband saw a crew member cleaning the leather couches, there was visible dried baby food left all over the arms. Also, I told both managers that II wanted the blinds and inside of the windows cleaned. The kitchen window has never been cleaner - it looks brand new! However, none of the other windows were touched, including the living room window, which has baby handprints all over it and the living room blinds, which have baby food on them. Also, I would have been fine if they had not cleaned the inside of the bathroom cabinets, especially since someone knocked the shelf off in the bathroom upstairs, put it back in incorrectly, and left random toiletries out on my bathroom counter because they would no longer fit in the cabinet properly. And while there was still visible soap scum/mold on the shower door & floor in the downstairs bathroom, someone threw out some of my shampoo/conditioner even though the bottles weren't empty. Also, we are moving furniture around to prepare for our new arrival and it is apparent that the crew did not move any of the furniture to clean underneath (with the exception of a few couches that my husband asked them to move). Finally, one of the reasons I hired Imperial is their use of "green" cleaning solutions, which we were told they would bring. They did, but my husband also saw them go under my kitchen sink and use some of our cleaning supplies. I would have preferred that we be told what they needed rather than the crew just go looking for cleaning supplies. I think that taking an extra 1/2 hr - 1 hr would have made a significant difference in the quality. The crew was professional and nice and did work hard. I expressed my feelings to a manager, as he followed up, and his response was that he would pass on my concerns to the crew and he hopes that we use Imperial again. I don't really feel motivated to do so. We had been planning on scheduling a monthly cleaning if we had been happy but I would rather go with a company that is more thorough. In response to Imperial's response - I was complimentary as possible with this review. Here's an additional detail - my husband grew tired of following the crew to make sure that the cleaning was thorough. Had he not instructed them to do so, they would not have moved any furniture. Had I been home for the walkthrough (I was at work), I probably would have addressed the issues. However, we were clear in our communication with Imperial before the job began as to what we wanted, so it should have been done. I would have contacted Imperial within 24 hours, but I was 8 months pregnant and fell very ill less than 24 hours after the cleaning with pneumonia. I did follow up with an email several days later and the response to my concerns was tepid at best - no offer to come back or incentive to work with your company again. I stand by my review.

I called and two people gave me quotes. They both told me $99 for 3 hours of service. It turned out to be 99 per hour. Neither individual mentioned it was per hour. After they left it was like they were not even here. They put a polish on my floor that I never asked for as well. My husband had open heart surgery and we were worried he would slip so I asked them to come back and remove it. They told me they would but I would have to book another session at $99/hr, but would give me a half hour free.

When I spoke to someone on the phone they gave me a ballpark figure base on what I told them about the house. They then proceeded to send someone over to go over the house with me to see if I wanted any extra services. When we agreed on the price they told me when they would be there and for how long. They called the night before to remind me. My neighbors told me they seemed to be there all day and came in a very nice truck.

Major improvement over starting condition but did notice some items were missed but did get all the major focus areas. Good follow-up from office.

After work in the apartment the house was a dusty mess! The staff was wonderful from the first call to the last call. The crew was on time and did a great job in the time allocated. i would definitely recommend Imperial!

They were fine. The staff was very professional and worked hard. I discontinued their service because I tried out another service (Spar), which cost the same but is a bit more thorough.

They are punctual and do very good work. I have continued to use them because I am satisfied with their work. They have the same crew coming in regularly, so they are familiar with my home and what is going on. I have some knickknacks that are expensive, so I tell them what should be done and what should not be done, and they understand that. Their service is very good, and their price is satisfactory. I would use them again in the future.

They did a pretty good job. The appliances were cleaned well. The floors were cleaned but big lumps of Spackle were left behind. The cabinets were new and empty but they didn't do a very good job of wiping the insides clean of dust. The bathroom was disgusting when they got here and spotless when they left.

I called and spoke to Emilio, who was very professional and told me exactly what services they would perform. His estimate was exactly on target and he even told me about the 10% off for first time clients. A crew of three girls arrived right on time and started working as soon as they walked through the house. They were extremely pleasant and very obliging. I have lots of mirrors and they got up on a ladder to clean the entire wall and shelves. They even climbed on to my kitchen sink to reach a bay window in order to clean the granite counter. They were an excellent crew and I would not hesitate to use them again. Overall it was an excellent experience and my house never looked so clean!

While I found Emilio very nice (he even called back to remind me about the discount coupon from Angie's list and then honored it even though we had misplaced it in the move), I was unhappy with the job his crew performed. I was very clear on the phone that the windows (especially the window sills), baseboards, kitchen & bathrooms were our main priority. I needed everything scrubbed from top to bottom. I was assured that this would be done. I sent a family member to oversee the cleaners and, after running behind, tipped the crew when they were leaving as they had finished before I arrived and were waiting to get paid. Little did I know that they were done early because they did not do a thorough job. I was very disappointed and frustrated when I began unpacking and had to constantly stop to clean things that were not taken care of. Blinds were not wiped down, one windowsill would be cleaned in a room but not the other, some areas of the house didn't look like they were even touched. Many baseboards were not wiped clean. Drains were not cleaned, light fixtures in the bathroom were never touched, light switches were not cleaned, etc. I felt I spent a lot of money and did not come away satisfied. I never received a follow up call from the company asking how I found things and now that we are settled in, have every intention of calling them to express my dissatisfaction. I would not recommend them to others who are looking for this type of cleaning.

We had a lot of work done on the old condo so we had them in to do a very detailed cleaning before we moved in. They were very nice and did a good job but were expensive.

I called Imperial after seeing the good reviews on Angie's list, after seeing the 10% off coupon offered, and after calling another service and not being happy with the customer service offered. The Angie's list coupon initially only said "10% off" (they've since changed the wording), and without the 10% off the bi-weekly services would have been more expensive than the other cleaning companies I've contacted. They were nice, professional, and flexible about the time that they'd be able to come over, so even though the price would have been a little higher I made an initial appointment. The manager was on time, but the crew was running 20 minutes late so we walked through the house and talked about what I wanted and what to expect for the first "deep cleaning". I felt comfortable with the manager and the crew, and I feel that they did a pretty good job. I have a very small house, and the manager told me that I could expect the cleaning to last 1.5-2 hours. I asked that, if possible, we keep the cleaning to 2 hours. And if necessary, that we forgo cleaning the converted attic in order to keep the session to 2 hours. The reason why I decided to not call this company again is twofold: 1) The "deep cleaning" initial service-for which you're asked to pay extra- was not what I would consider a deep clean, and that made me wonder what to expect for the regular service. 2)This company charges hourly. The cleaning crew arrived 20 minutes late, and then packed the car 2 hours after the original appointment time. The manager called the lead cleaner and asked that they bring the equipment back inside and clean the converted attic room for 20 minutes, so that I would have received the full 2 hours that I was paying for. If the manager hadn't called, the crew would have just left, even though they arrived late.
