Legends Landscaping

From start to finish the team at Legends met the mark on everything from the initial visit to the beautiful rendering to working with my HOA everything was professional and considerate. We removed our front lawn and were very happy with the xeriscape design we're glad we went that direction. Once the work started the team that worked for over a week to tear down old shrubs, plant the many trees and bushes to the installation of the side walk pavers did a great job and were respectful of our property as well as our neighbors ensuring they left a great impression of us all. A few hiccups but overall happy with how my front yard looks. Took about 4 months from time of signing to start the project, but the whole project was done in 2 weeks. Some miscommunication with their suppliers resulted in added charges, so do watch for that. I had a pretty specific plan of what I wanted and the designer got some of it right but not all, so I had to keep checking daily on what was going where. A few things ended up out of place or curves got made too straight and things didn't get squared properly. I wasn't home a few of the days and didn't get to correct everything that should have been so we'll end up fixing some of it ourselves now. If you go in without a plan and let them design it, you'll probably be fine. If you want extreme specifics, plan on making sure as they go.

I am very pleased with Legends Landscape. From the proposal to the finish of the job, everything went very smoothly. The quality of the work was outstanding and the people from the company were very friendly without exception. Not only would I hire them again, but I am currently in the process of getting a proposal for addition work! I highly recommend them.

Filled in internet form to get landscape estimate. Received email to call to book. Called to get date/time from them. They then called to move estimate to different date/time. They called a second time to move it back to original date/time, then no-showed. Nor did they call to cancel, reschedule or even apologize for wasting our time.

I can't say enough good things about all those that were involved , from Craig the designer, Shane, the project manager, Rene and his team for making such a beautiful design come to fruition. Everyone was cordial, invited input and respected my preferences. After doing some research and price comparison, I found everything was very realistic and fair.

The work went well. After a few years the retaining walls started to fall down. Legends would not stand behind their work and would not repair the walls. I had another landscaping company come out and they explained that Legends did not build the walls correctly. Legends does not stand behind their work.

Excellent! Legends Landscaping was able to start the work several weeks before the scheduled start date. They reviewed the project on site the day before the work began. The work was completed in eight days and it looks beautiful!

Bart created a fantastic design with boulders, a natural river bed, and a hand stacked rock wall. Shane and his team executed it perfectly. Even when we realized that we had ordered the wrong tree (totally on me as there are so many varieties) they had found the one I wanted and had it planted within the week. So professional and experienced. I will definitely be using them for all my projects.

The 2 crews that worked, were very professional, courteous and very hard workers. Thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work they performed. Bart-Architect, was "right-on" with the design and very open for changes. Shane-Hardscape Foreman, was awesome. His crew were very hard workers and very precise. Our paver walkway is PERFECT! Nick -landscaper foreman, was very knowledgeable & had a great personality. His crew were a "well oiled" team. They all had great sense of humors and very hard workers. We couldn't be more pleased. We interviewed two other landscape companies, but chose to hire Legends because they offered the best proposal for the price. We wanted a rustic park-like yard with no lawn, but lots of flowers, trees, and rambling walkways. Trisha, the designer, understood exactly what we were looking for, and was flexible when we asked for changes. The crew was friendly, hard-working and meticulous. We love our new yard.

Excellent design suggestions. Easy to work with to make modifications - including last minute changes. Courteous workers - very professional and considerate of our needs. Mid-range price compared to competitors. If you make changes to the contract, make sure all of the changes are updated in the contract before any work begins. This will ensure that there is no miscommunication. Although we did experience some issues, they were resolved immediately. Due to the increasing growth rate of the Reno area at this time, you can expect a delay in starting your project. But the wait is worth the results.

From the beginning, Mike, the owner, and Trisha listened to our desires then developed an outstanding plan. During several meetings prior to start, Trisha, the Landscape Architect, refined our plan then set the initial date to start work. We met with Shane the Project Supervisor and Trisha just before the start of the work. It was clear from the beginning this was a very experienced and professional company. The scope of the project was extensive and we understood it would take nearly two months to complete. Shane and Trisha put us at ease and answered all questions prior to the start. We can't say enough about punctuality and hard work by Jose', the Foreman, and his crew. They began promptly at 7am and worked until 3:30 each day and even worked on a Saturday to keep the project on track. They worked hard every moment of every day, taking only a break to discuss the status of the project and take their lunch. We have never observed a harder working group. We were also very impressed with the experience and care the crew took with every step. We observed Jose' using a backhoe to carefully dig a slight depression for a boulder, then gently placing, and then turning it to provide just the right aesthetics. Jose's care with that one boulder was indicative of the attention to detail exhibited by the entire team. There were few problems and changes however, when they did come up, Shane was here at least once every day to discuss any issues and make corrections/adjustments as we went. We also met frequently with Trisha on the few design changes we felt necessary. She was here for the placement of the trees and other plants. As the trees were placed we included our neighbor's input so the tree placement would not affect their view. Trisha was so accommodating to move the trees as to accommodate the neighbors and us. It was a special touch to still give us the plants and trees we wanted and consider the neighbors in the plan. Everything is complete and beautiful beyond our expectations. One key to the success of the project was the crew. They were the same team, day in and day out. The crew worked every work-day with no breaks and no substitutions, which provided great continuity and consistency to the project. We would definitely recommend Legends for any size landscaping project.

Really great. They were in and out with out fuss. Cleaned up well and the yard looked great.

Had to wait several months due to their popularity, but they started on time as promised with beautiful results. They included verbal & written maintenance guides.

It was good. We liked their service. We added some more hours. It was really good. It worked out great, no problems. The worker was very good. They did well, the worker who came out was knowledgeable and told us some things to do. It was all good.

Extremely efficient-on time-hard, consistent work. Second job done for us.
