I needed to either repair or replace my water heater. I called MC Plumbing late on a Friday night, and they said that someone would come out Saturday morning for an estimate. Jose came on time and was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He gave me a firm quote and did not mind that I said I would have to think about it. I called MC later in the morning to schedule installation of a new water heater. Terrific service -- Jose and Patrick came around 7:00 p.m. that evening and installed the new water heater with no problems. Very polite and worked quickly. I have used MC Plumbing before, and will definitely use them again.

The tech that arrived was friendly and wiped his feet on the mat before entering our home. After spending some time checking everything he could think of the tech discovered that the Water Co had our meter confused with our neighbors and had shut off the water to the wrong house. The tech proceeded to do a few checks just to verify that his findings were correct. We are very grateful for his help and impressed with how thorough he was. Turns out the Water Co has been charging us for our neighbors water usage for 7 years. Thank you MC Plumbing for helping us fix this mess!

We'll use them again! Prompt courteous service by licensed plumbers with a great attitude. Very friendly, professional and personable. Scott and Eric were my two plumbers. We did have to call them back out twice after the initial work to make good on a few minor leaks and ill-fitted parts. The return services were prompt, courteous and with the same smiles they started the job with. In their defense, on the first call the plumber had a problem with the company truck so instead of delaying or no-showing he came in his own truck with his own tools. Maybe he didn't have all the right parts and tools of his main truck that day but he got the job done. This is my explanation for them, they never once made excuses and were 110% eager to please and make the work good. Great service, reasonable price and highly recommended!

It went well. The 2 persons showed up late Sat night were professional and friendly. They were on time. My initial unease was that I had no choice on the brand of heater if I wanted it replaced that night. The product they used was well known but was not the same as the one that broke after 10years of use. They did a good job overall other than 2 points. (1) The new heater was dented at the bottom because they did not have a lift to move it up. (2) The garage floor could be cleaner after they finished. We had to wash it down the next day. However, considering the late night and being a Sat., it was accepted without protest. Overall, therefore, I would give them an A-, not quite the A+ performance. As for the cost, I thought it could be a few $100 less. Finally, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I made a phone call to get an estimate to replace a toilet. I made the call at 9 AM, and was told they were in a meeting until 11 and she would have someone contact me when they finished. I waited until 2PM and called back, and she said they went out on an emergency, and they would contact me as soon as they could. I've been waiting over a week and a half to hear from them.

I turned bathtub faucet on full but unable to turn faucet off as lever turned loosely but did not affect water flow. Called on a Saturday and they responded by 'phone immediately, suggesting I turn off main water supply to house (which I did). They came within an hour or so, replaced a part inside the faucet and checked all was well when main water turned back on. Their plumber was pleasant and helpful even though that particular Saturday was his day off and he had been called in to fix this problem as an emergency. I have used their service before and have been happy with the results on both occasions.

Everything went well. I thought the service was excellent and he was very informative and honest. He showed up on time and was efficient while working. He even gave me a 10% senior discount. I want to give special regards to Jose, who was the man that came over for the service.

The work was completed that day. He was professional, friendly, and honest, which is exactly what you want. I will use and recommend MC in the future. The price I paid was the same as the quote and fair. This is a mom and pop company that are as professional as the larger companies.

Jose, did an excellent job and was very professional. The owner even called and said he would be a little late as they were having problems locating the valve assembly because they are sold out of them throughout the city due to the freezing weather. The company is very professional.. The valve is very expensive and comes as an assembly. They suggested the thermotape heating which was a minor expense to prevent a re-occurance of the problem. I have used them twice now for unrelated problems and will definitly will use them for any plumbing problems in the future.

I went good they were on time and it took less than an hour to complete the job. We were a little surprised on the cost a bit pricy.

It required two visits. It went smoothly. It required turning on valve 24 hours after work was completed and is working well so far.

Wow, what a disappointment. We needed a plumber to come on the weekend. After reading all the glowing reports on Angie's List, I made an appt with Mark for Saturday afternoon. An hour or two before he was scheduled to arrive (we were out and he left a voicemail) he called to say he would not be coming. I called him back immediately, and he explained that he was fixing a "flood" and it would be several hours. I asked him to come when he was done and he said no. I asked him to come the next day (Sunday) and he said "I don't work Sundays." He apologized, but did not seem to be willing to go out of his way at all to fix the huge inconvenience he had caused us. It's not as if we had a huge project--just needed a leaky toilet and kitchen faucet fixed. But clearly he prioritized another job over the commitment that had been made to us.

Came on time and did fix the items I requested but price was too high and appearance and hygiene were unacceptable. Also did not clean up and replace all items moved or removed

We were absolutely thrilled with them. We have saved so much money, and I think it's wonderful. I liked their professionalism. They showed up on time. They did a very high quality job. We are very happy with the plumbing work they did. When we had deadlines, they met the deadlines. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed. I called to research hot water pump options for the kitchen; we were experiencing low hot water flow in at the kitchen sink. I was told on the phone that a service technician would come out to a**** my options. Upon arrival, the technician looked under the sink and opened up the hot water valve more then it was currently set. This fixed the problem. I was then told there was a $85 service charged. This was the first time I was informed of this fee; not when I called the office requesting service. There was not a line on his cost sheet dedicated to "service fee". $85 was the least expensive item on the sheet he could find. I called Mark and informed him I was a Angie's List customer. The fee was reduced to $65. This is completely unprofessional behavior by any company. If there is a service fee, disclose it before a technician is dispatched, and have a line on a cost sheet dedicated to it. I suspect if the technician walked into a larger home the fee would have been more, and visa versa for a smaller home.

Mark was prompt and professional when he provided me with a free estimate. The price he quoted me was definitely reasonable. When I was ready for the repairs to be done, I had an appt within two days of my call. They came early morning on Monday and was finished with the repairs before noon same day. I checked the worked and was satisfied, no more water leak and a new pipe was installed. He charged me the price he quoted with no surprises. I will hire him again for additional work if needed on my home.

They arrived on time, both times. They found the leak in a minimum of time. They fixed the problem. They left everything clean and neat. The price was fair. The plumber, Gene, was friendly, professional and explained everything he did. After some, less than pleasant experiences with other plumbers, this was a good experience. I recommend them.

As an out of town landlord, when a tenant called to tell us the carpet had water seeping into the livingroom, I called and spoke with Becky who promptly set up an appointment to check out what we thought was a slab leak. Thankfully, Mark called us within the hour and gave the good news that the leak was not plumbing, but a faulty A/C unit, a much easier an less expensive problem. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

They were very professional and quick. Price was competitve. They did an excellent job and I thought they were very honest.

The handle on the master bedroom toilet broke on a Friday night. After seeing all the good reviews on Angie's List, I called and spoke to Mark to set up an appointment for Saturday. Spoke with Mark Saturday morning, and he arrived later in the morning. Unfortunately, he didn't have the necessary toilet handle in his truck. Before I could even ask, he offered to go over to Lowe's to get one. Then he installed it very quickly. Although this was obviously a very small, quick job, Mark was professional and friendly and didn't make me feel that I was wasting his time for something so simple. I will definitely call MC Plumbing again.

Called MC Plumbing at approximately 8:00am today to report on the vibration coming from my pipes. This vibration had been happening occasionally for a couple of months and now was happening EVERY time water was being used. He, Mark, said he had another appointment in my neighborhood at 10am and that he could come to my home immediately afterwards. He arrived at my home before 11am and determined that the vibration was most likely being caused by a broken pressure relief valve, the cost $225 for parts and labor. The work was done in about 10 minutes and then he went on to check the water pressure throughout my home and my irrigation system. He found something that needed a minor adjustment in the irrigation system, he made the adjustment. He also looked at my non-working water softener and determined that it needed to be replaced. We were very happy with the service performed, the price and the promptness of the service call.

Well, to begin with, my mother called me at midnight stating that water was leaking from her living room ceiling. I went to her place and turned off the main water valve which stopped the leak temporarly until I could call someone the next day. After reviewing Angies List, I narrowed it down to this company because over and over, the reviews stated how fair and professional Mark was. I called and explained that I thought water was coming from the second floor where the water heater was located in a closet, however I saw no water in the pan under the water heater so I didn't know. Mark said he could have someone come over in a couple hours. About an hour and a half later, Carlos showed up at my mothers home and took a look around. He determined that the leak was inside the wall, and the water heater itself was fine. Upon further investigation, he pointed out water on the floor in the corner of the closet and had me feel that the drywall was damp. He stated he would have to make a couple of small holes in the drywall to see where the leak was. I agreed. At this point I asked for an estimate. Carlos called Mark and I was told it would be an 85.00 service call to open up the drywall with the remainder to be determined once inside the wall and the source of the leak was found. I was also told that they are not responsible for the drywall, only the plumbing, but they gave me the name of a drywall company to call. ( I will review them later ) Once in the wall, Carlos found the leak coming from the main hot water pipe, apparently a coupling had broken and it was an easy 10 minute fix. Total price for parts and labor was 125.00....AMEN! I was so releaved that this didn't turn into some kind of plumbing nightmare costing $$$$...my last Plumbing experience had really turned me off to Plumbers in general, but this experience has restored my faith. Thanks Mark and Carlos, I will call you again and refer you to friends, and thanks to Angies List, it is a great help!

Mark the owner came to my home within 2 hours of call. Very professional and friendly. Had the hose changed very quickly. I will definitely use this business again if I need any plumbing work.

The team that came to our home were punctual, courteous, knowledgable, and professional, They explained exactly what the problem was, gave us an estimate, and after we gave the "go ahead" had the work completed quickly. My husband and I were very pleased.
