+ 2 moreA couple of weeks ago I had a handyman remove a water filtration system (which was very old) from under the kitchen sink. Then suddenly there was no water supply to my refrigerator. The handyman couldn't figure out why that had happened. So I had MC Plumbing come out to fix the problem. Jose knew right away what the problem was! He also fixed it in a flash. Easy-peasy. Happy customer. I also asked Jose about an old faucet in the laundry room which had a very stiff-operating lever. I wanted to know if there was a way to have the lever working more smoothly. I appreciated his honesty when he said it might take a couple of hours for him to fix that problem, if it even could be fixed, but that it wouldn't be worth it. He suggested just buying a new faucet. A less honest plumber would have said "Sure", and then spent a bunch of time on it when it really wasn't worth it.
Description of Work: Connected my ice maker to the water supply under the kitchen sink.

+ -1 moreMy repair visit went amazing. Saul was extremely helpful. I thought I had a leak from my upstairs bathroom. I was having drywall spot repaired in my kitchen when we saw signs of a possible leak. I told Saul I didn't know where the leak was. He was friendly and professional. He patiently answered all of my questions and explained everything he was doing. After not being able to find a leak he diagnosed what happened. It was from a previous repair job. He did point out some areas that could become a problem. The bathtub drain was completely corroded which could cause a leak. He also caulked the overflown drain. He repaired a toliet flapper. Saul didn't charge me for the leak inspection. He also came out on a Friday night at 7:30. There was no extra charge for evenings and it was the Friday before Mother's Day weekend. Amazing! I will recommend this company to everyone!!!! Saul was awesome!!!

I appreciate that he took the time to explain the repair process while he was replacing the bad part and showed me where the part had failed. I will be contacting MC Plumbing for future work in remodeling some bathrooms and would highly recommend them, and Jose, for plumbing work.

While he was here I asked him to also check my washing machine and ice maker lines to see if they were showing any signs of needing replacement. He checked them out, told me they were high quality and shouldn't need replacing anytime soon. It is so refreshing to have a serviceman who didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I will definitely call MC Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and will recommend them to others.

+ 0 moreThese guys did a great job. We had purchased a combo water softener whole house water filtration system online and was having some degree of difficulty finding a plumber to install it. The first company we had out to look at the job (Pure Plumbing) basically tried to talk us out of the system we had purchased and in to a system that came close to double what we already paid. Jose from MC Plumbing promptly came out and gave us a fair bid for the job. He responded back the next day and completed the installation without incident. The system works great and without any of the forecasted problems Pure Plumbing cited when they tried to get us to buy another system. I would definitely use MC Plumbing again.

+ -1 moreAfter not having water since last Thursday 4-24-2014 and another company not showing up on Saturday I called at 8am in the morning and Saul was sent and arrived within 1.5 hours. Super prompt. The price was given and then after the Angies list discount it was better, we decided to have him do the job. The best thing was he said he didnt need to break through the concrete like the other company we had spoken to! He had another gentleman over there started to dig the trench within 45 minutes. The job was completed by 3:15pm. Throughout the entire job he kept us apprised of what he was doing and how it was going. He was fantastic and I highly recommend. You may (though maybe not by much) get cheaper elsewhere but you wont find a more professional and detailed company! Thank you!!!

Description of Work: Came home from vacation and no hot water. After checking the obvious and getting no pilot light I called MC plumbing who we have used in the past. They dispatched Juan to our house. He was very professional, polite and competent. He had to go get new parts for the therm-o- couple and Gas Control Valve (under warranty) and had us repaired and up and running in less than 2 hours.

Very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Looked at the sinks we had chosen and confirmed they were the right choices, gave us a good quote and told us to contact them when the sinks an faucets arrived. They arrived on 4/17 I contacted Jose and he made an appointment for the following day and came out, and was ON TIME!! Jose did a great job!! We will ALWAYS use him for our plumbing needs!! It was Saturday Afternoon, and they answered immediately, and said they could be out the same day, in a couple of hours! Outside of the plumber getting quite lost, making him later than expected, the job was done timely and as promised, I have a call into them as they billed my credit card the full amount, not giving the 15% discount. I called Scott and he assured me they will issue a credit, so I have no complaints!

+ -1 moreI have used this company in the past and will continue to use them when plumbing work is needed. They had to order the faucets in brass and I expected it would take a while. Only a few weeks later Jose called and we set up a day for installation. He called me and told me when he was half hour away. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and immediately went to work. Changing the pipe was a messy job and took a while. When the job was completed Jose cleaned up everything. He is professional and certainly competent. He was able to answer all of my questions. Because of the work involved with changing the pipes in the cabinet I believe the price was fair.
Description of Work: They ordered to new faucets, Moen in brass). Jose installed them for me and he also replaced the pipes under the cabinet which were coated with calcium deposit.

These things happen but I did have to call their home office at 10:30 because nobody had called to tell me about the delay. That aside, I was very happy with the service and plan to use them to replace my kitchen faucet. I will definitely request my service person, Saul, again as he was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.

+ 0 moreEvery other company said we should re-pipe the whole house, but Jose from MC suggested to just replace the broken line. That's what we did, also I wanted a new water heater since the timing was right. All the work was done in one day , Jose and his associate were very efficient, cleaned everything up and helped to move the furniture back. They also tented the area to avoid the ceiling and wall board dust from covering the inside of my house. So far everything is working great. We do have seven holes in the ceiling and wall that have to be repaired, unfortunately costing as much as the plumbing repair.
Description of Work: Replaced a broken under ground hot water line with a new line in the ceiling. Fixed a leak in a pipe made by the builders nail 20 yrs ago. Installed a new hot water heater.

Description of Work: Buyer Beware!!!! They are basic plumbing crooks you hear about on the news. They quoted me a price to find and fix a leak on our property. They "discovered" the leak, quoted $2000 to fix it saying that it was 30 feet of pvc to replace, etc... They dug up a 3-4 foot hole in the front of my house under the bushes, and said "we fixed the leak". I asked what they had installed and the worker advised "copper fittings". My friend/landscaper, who happened to be on my property the same day, told me that he did not believe they replaced anything and especially NOT in copper. When the workers left, my landscaper dug up that area and showed me they replaced a .50 piece of PVC in PLASTIC. I immediately called to speak to the owner, and told the woman who answered what had happened and demanded to speak to the owner. I did receive a call back, but it was not from the owner, but rather the WORKER who had ripped me off. I made him come back to the property and showed him all of his lies. He then reduced my invoice by $500 and when I asked where my 10% Angie's discount was he also lied and said it was already included in the invoice (nowhere to be found on the invoice). The owner NEVER called to discuss this, and I basically caught them red handed.

+ -1 moreThe first approximated cost was $2600 and we told them it was a 50-gallon tank and he gave me a written quote and he left and for a bout 5 minutes he came back in and he said that he talked to the owner and that he had a different price. He came back in for more realistic price, more reasonable, more acceptable price and that wasn't too bad actually. He was very nice, very punctual but I would have like it better if he wrote down what it should have been the first time. He was nice, seems like thorough and knows what he's talking about.
Description of Work: We got a quote from MC Plumbing for water heater and recirculating pump replacement, and refrigerator line.
