Warren's Moving

The crew leader suggested we use 2 teams of 2 men and a truck to save money on drive time and complete our move sooner. It was a great suggestion and we were done by noon instead of 3 or 4 pm for the same amount of money.

They were really great! I looked around on Angie's List for movers and Warren's Homework and great reviews so I decided to use them for our move. We sold our home and were moving accross town to a new house. They showed up a few minutes early and we were ready for them so they got right to work. And they had a trainee with them so we got 3 guys for the price of 2. They worked fast but extremely carefully. We needed them for all the big furniture and some appliances. I was really impressed with the lengths they went to in order to protect our belongings, the house we moved out of and the one we moved into. They covered some things in blankets and wrapped others in plastic. Depending on what piece of furniture it was. I also had them move large pictures and a large mirror and they were very careful with those. At our old house we had wood floors and they put stuff down to protect the wood while moving the furniture out. They covered walls on stairs and around tight turns so as not to damage the walls. I even needed them to relocte some things in the new house just from one room to another and they were more than happy to do it real quick. The guys were very professional and really just so nice and friendly. They spoke up if they had questions or just needed to make us aware of anything. Their communication was fantastic. I really wish more people still conducted themselves and ran their business the way Warren's Homework does. There honestly isn't a bad thing I can say about them. I really don't plan on moving anytime soon but if I had to I would absolutely use this company again!

2 great guys. Arrived right on time, and worked really hard all day. No complaints at all.

Went on line at Angie's List to get a quote for a move. I received an immediate response from Michelle with a quote. I scheduled the move for the next Saturday. I had lots of furniture that I was attempting to donate, but couldn't find any local charities that would pick up the items. I contacted Michelle to see if it was possible to load those items last and then stop by the local Goodwill drop off location so that I could donate the items. She emailed me back and advised me that they could warehouse those items and donate them for me at no cost to me. The move was scheduled for 7:00am; they arrived at 6:55am. After a walk through they went right to work and didn't stop until everything was loaded. The disassembled two beds, bagged the mattresses and reassembled them at the new location. They asked for assistance in furniture placement so by the time everything was unloaded and set up all I had to do was unpack some boxes. I highly recommend Warren's!!!

I am so pleased with Warren's Homework. The guys worked very hard (moving to my 3 floor home), they protected my stuff, and my walls, and didn't drag the time out. I didn't know you could get great help like this anymore. Thank you for a great move !

Movers were there at 8:15 and were done by about 1:15. Mover forgot to give us the things to put the bed back together, I called company and they had him bring the items back. It all worked out ok.

Great experience. Guys showed up on time, ready to work. Large heavy dresser had to get down two flights of stairs. Canopy bed as well. They padded the stair rails and the walls of the landing. All pieces were moved without damage. The guys were very knowledgeable on how heavy items should be moved. No hidden costs.

I was contacted the day prior to confirm time and they arrived right on schedule. The crew was very professional and efficient. I would recommend Warrens Homework to anyone. Funny name but great service.

This was for a move in the summer of 2012. I thought the price was a bit high but not that much more than other estimates I'd received. I was very comfortable with everyone involved in the process, which was why I chose them to begin with. The same guys packed, loaded, & moved me to CA. Even the HOA at the new condo said how impressed they were with the move. Quick, quiet, very careful with my belongings, and extremely nice to deal with, so the price was well worth it. I would definitely use them again.

They were unbelievably fabulous. They were very accommodating and provided information that I wouldn't have even thought to ask for. I have recommended them to others and would definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent, professional movers, if somewhat pricey for a local move. Chris and Travis did a good job, although it did seem to take a couple of hours longer than anticipated. No damage to any goods and both were good at noting minor damage that had occurred in previous moves. The company was able to arrange a move on 24 hours' notice, as I suddenly found myself with an available window of time to perform the move - other companies were either booked or not interested in checking on possibilities. The people over the phone were all professional, engaging and friendly. Those traits are certainly worth something of a premium.

It went well. As I said, they moved us in a timely fashion and nothing was broken. What else can you ask for of a moving company?

Ernesto and Frank arrived at 7:15 and worked until 2:30. They worked incredibly quick with only a few breaks. They took care of the furniture and were pleasant and courteous. The move was well worth the $833 plus the $100 in tips and lunch we bought the movers. They were great!

Started off with a very thorough phone interview to give me an accurate idea of how long it would take and to make sure they had any special materials they needed (for moving tvs, etc.) Two movers showed up on time, padded and protected all of the surfaces in the house, and took great care with all of the items. They worked very hard the entire time with no damage to either property or my possessions.

I told the movers that my bedroom furniture was "my baby" since it cost so much and was under 2 years old. When they unpacked the tall dresser there was damage to the trim on the top which was quite obvious. I took pictures of the damage. The movers used a marker to cover it when I pointed it out to them and I was not happy with the results. I told them I chose their company because they are insured and I wanted my dresser repaired correctly. The mover told me verbally that I could get a discount on the move or they would have to remove the dresser and it have it repaired and it would take anywhere from 10 days to two weeks. I began to call the office to inquire about this and the movers attitude became offensive. Michelle at the office confirmed what he told me so I told them to take the dresser and repair it correctly. I had to empty the contents myself while the movers watched and did not offer to help. They never apologized to me or acted sorry for the damage. I did get the dresser back in 4 days and it was repaired to my satisfaction. Packing out of my old house: I gave the movers my own boxes, paper and bubble wrap to pack a large collection of Disney snow globes and other valuables. When they unpacked all the boxes they stacked them 4 high (which I did not see until it was too late). After they left with my dresser to have it repaired, I went into the room where the boxes were and they were laying on the floor because they fell over. I noticed one box was wet, which had the snow globes in side. I took picture of this, open the boxes and there were damaged items inside, and they DID NOT use the bubble wrap I provided, they just used the paper and stacked glass items on top of each other. I took another picture of the damages and called the office and this was under an hour after the movers left. The person who answered the phone actually accused me of the boxes falling over. She was very rude and did not want to help me at that point. She transferred me back to Michelle who asked me why I was having the problems with the movers. I could not believe my own ears! I asked her why I would have to call them back with their movers lack of care and professionalism. Michele claimed that they do not stack boxes more than 3 high which was not case with my move. I told her I had pictures and she asked me to send them to her which I did, but I never heard back form them at all. Not even an apology! Michelle did send the movers back to look at the damages and they told me thy called "Warren" himself and he told them that since I could not prove the items were damaged during the move that there was nothing they could do for me. They tried to blame my cat who was locked in my office during the move, and no where near the boxes or the movers. I tired to search for one of the broken snow globes that was a gift from my late husband, but sadly, I cannot find it anywhere. I am appalled that this company would not even show the slightest bit of compassion for their mistakes. I would never refer them to anyone who cares about their belongings.

To begin introduce themselves and explain all things that will be done. Was ask would I be needing extra boxes and would I like the hanging boxs for my hang-up things and the amount. I could not belive 2 could do this work but they did. We just had to buy them lunch, smile. They worked very hard and fast we ( my friends) enjoy ed them and will tell others as, thank you.

Note: do not recall cost of service, so amount listed is a guess but when making the appointment it seemed reasonable. When calling to get quote and scheduling info, person very helpful and quick. The movers efficiently loaded the boxes and furniture, unloaded boxes and moved the furniture pieces into the appropriate rooms (bedrooms, living room, etc.). The 2 movers did a great job, quickly and politely. Would use again.

From beginning to end the movers were both conscientious and professional. They arrived on time and worked steadily the entire time. I would highly recommend them. They did a great job.

they were very professional throughout the move. there were also additional resources available (a second truck and crew) when it became apparent that the move was bigger and more time consuming that we all originally thought. it was must more cost effective to have two trucks and four men doing the move in one trip, rather than one truck and two men doing the move in two trips. there were a couple of easy to repair scuffs and scratches, but that is to be expected in any move. there was was unfortunate incident where something fell into a wall, requiring a repair, and that was taken care of quickly and professionally. i would definitely engage their services again.

Larry and Jace arrived on time and immediately went to work. They were professional, hard working, and did an excellent job. Our furniture was treated with respect and handled very well. I appreciated the way they placed the furniture in our new home. I'd recommend them for any future moves.

Called Warren's Homework to move some furniture to a new home. They were able to provide an estimate and scheduled a moving time. The movers arrived on-time and were very professional, wrapping furniture that they moved to prevent damage. They kept me well-infomed as to their progress as they moved from room to room. Items were brought to the new house without any damage to any pieces and were placed and setup where requested. Would definitely use this company again. it was a very good experience.

Warren sent an estimator who was very knowlegable.Warrens estimate was not the lowest but we were impressed by the estimator.Unfortunately,his estimate was not as accurate as he could have been.Nonetheless,Warrens movers were professional,knowledgable and did a terrific job.They were punctual and meticulous in protecting our furniture and numerous pictures we have. We reccomend them enthusiastically!!

The service was standard and it was very expensive for the value we got.
