Absolutely THE ONLY choice for a quality landscaping contractor.  In my opinion, every other landscaping company in Las Vegas is running a clown show compared to this company.  Yes you are going to pay some more, Greg and crew are up front about this fact.  What you spend in money you will save in heartache, shoddy work, and poor results.  These fellows operate under the concept that they do not want you to be satisfied with the landscaping, they want you to be ecstatic with the landscaping.  These guys do great work!  You are going to be real proud to show off your yard to neighbors, friends, and family.  Their designer, and vice president, Franco, is a genius.  He will make you a backyard that is brilliant, beautiful, and practical in design.  The workers are clean respectful and best of all the impact to your neighbors is minimal. Everyday these guys clean up after themselves and when they are done, you will not know your street area was ever used as a staging area for landscaping.  My street still has stains and scrapes left over from cheaper "brand Y" contractors.  I also have seen and heard countless horror stories from my neighbors who went a little cheaper and hired some "brand Y" landscape company.  Good luck getting a year warranty from the "brand Y" landscapers...in fact you'll probably have issues about two weeks after they leave.   Take the plunge and pay slightly more with Chip N Dales, they are hands down the best quality and design landscaper in Las Vegas!  All in all, from management, design, and execution, a great group of professionals with which to work.  Go with Chip N Dales, you will not regret it!

We have been using this company for the past 2 to 3 years for all of our landscaping needs.  They did an extensive landscaping project for us as a sub-contractor.  We then hired them as our weekly landscaping service.  The maintenance crews are very knowledgeable about our landscaping needs.  They understand our local plants and have been very conscientious in caring for our many trees, shrubs and lawn.  They regularly inspect the irrigation and outside lighting system to insure everything is operating properly.  Even though I have approved a spending amount for repairs, they always request my approval before incurring any additional expenses, such as refilling the liquid fertilizer tank or adding fungicide to the lawn.  The company employs a professional office staff that uses the latest technology for on-line invoicing and billing.  The weekly maintenance crews handle routine care, while a separate crew does tree trimming and special projects, such as this hedge removal.  All of the crews wear uniforms and use modern, well maintained trailers, trucks and equipment.  The cost for these services are on the high end, but after experiencing disappointment with budget operators, I feel the money is well spent.

Monthly maintenance workers are AWESOME and do a great job - Very expensive in comparison to competitors.

Tried to get bid for backyard redo and front entrance as well.  Took Months to get a reply (and i was a weekly maintenance customer) and when the bid came in it was like we never met and the person never even listened to any of the desires we had.  the plan they suggested not only did not come close to what we discussed, but it also did not come close to the budget either.  

They do a very professional job. They arrive at the same time each month so you aren't waiting all day for them. They are here about one hour and when they leave everything is perfect.

Fantastic service from the start.  Always on time/early.  It was a large project which took the entire summer and I always felt like I was their priority, even though I know they were doing bigger jobs elsewhere.  My yard was tough because of a large slanted burm going to a higher wall.  Over 100 plants/trees, they laid sod on my side yard (cant tell it's sod!)  In the back, they helped with my pool construction and worked with the numerous contractors to get both the pool and landscape done on schedule.  Franco led the whole thing, but the owner, Greg, also was there to make sure the project was going as planned.  I never had to worry about the workers.  They were always professional.  Very respectful of my family and property.  I felt Franco and Greg would do their backyards just like they did mine.

I wouldn't let them cut my nails and less my lawn. They are in my estimation, charlatans, and they have a reputation of being good but in fact you get *** but you don't get kissed.  I met the owner on the golf course. I was new in Vegas and I wanted to do a complete landscaping for the property that I bought. He told me, absolutely, no problem. The biggest mistake I made was, he asked me how much money I wanted to put into it. Based on where I lived before I gave him a number and I told him what I expected. He sent his representatives (more than 1) and at the same time that he did the plantings and filled the landscaping in I then gave him the opportunity to then maintain the property. The mow and blow and all the other nonsense that went along with it. Within a years time half of the plants that were planted died. The trees that I asked him to put in were in fact not the trees that I wanted but I didn't know any different. I would not recommend them to put birdseed in a bird feeder. He BS'd me and I spent a lot of money with those people. They jerked me around and I finally went to the owner and then they showed up the next day with 5 trucks full of people and put in all the plants and stuff that they were supposed to do over a period of time in one day. Basically, what I am saying is that I don't trust them, I wouldn't recommend them under any circumstances to anybody for anything. They have been around for years and I'm sure there are people that would say the opposite of what I am saying. After meeting the owner of the company, playing golf with the guy, it was painful. It is very subjective. If you don't know what you are talking about, and you don't know plants, and you don't know anything you rely on people to know what plants are going to flourish and how it is going to be. The promise you the world and gave you nothing. They didn't follow up and didn't maintain the property.

Their price is reasonable. When I first hired them, they noticed a fungus on my yard that I had not known about. They were able to clear that up. They do a good job.

It went great.  His crew was conscientious, polite and on-time.  The last day on the job they worked all day until the yard was complete, which we enjoyed with our family on Father's Day. Truly impressed with Greg and his team.  Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.  Have recommended them to others.

We bought our home last year. Kevin was our designer. He had some real challenges. I needed trees and plants that were non toxic for dogs that would grow in Las Vegas. He did a really good job except for 4 of the trees he selected. We have a very very small backyard. All trees need to be small in our yard. One of the trees he put in would grow to be very large at some point. We plan on retiring in our Las Vegas home so I hope we would live long enough for that tree to be an issue. The other 3 trees did not do well in our yard. 
I was away for a year so I did not see what was happening with my yard last year. I had a caretaker that was suppose to tell me all that was going on but he obviously did not know what a struggling tree looked like. I also had a monthly service come to take care of the trees and plants. He is no longer in our employment because he failed to tell me that the 3 trees were struggling.  
When I got home this April I was shocked to see 3 of the trees were in really bad shape. Our year warranty was about 2 or 3 weeks over it's completion. Kevin was no longer working for the company. Greg the owner of the company came to the rescue. He pointed out the one tree that would out grow our yard and 3 plants that would out grow the area they were in. He was willing to take out the struggling trees and the tree that would out grow the yard plus move the 3 plants to an area that fit their future growth and replace them with dwarf versions. He was willing to do it all at cost. We were out of our warranty so I felt that was fair. Replacing the large tree and moving the large plants was above and beyond what he needed to do. 
Again came the challenge. The trees needed to be replaced with non toxic, small trees that were not messy or invasive. We went round and round with choices. He spent lots of time talking to me on the phone and sending emails. He was not making a dime for all of this. 
He found the trees came to my home and supervised his staff while they did their work. The workers were amazing. They were really tidy and fast. They were polite and excellent at their work. 
It was a stressful situation and I am ever so grateful Greg's philosophy is to make sure his customers are happy. Hats off to Greg and his workers. My yard looks great!

My only gripe is that I recently became unemployed so I asked them to cut back their service and adjust their price. They ended up cutting my service back to one time per month but only lowered my price by $35. They did not really accommodate and it was  a little surprising. I still think their price is a little high but they are very detailed and they spend tons of time. One of them speaks English and the other ones, not so much. They have done everything I have asked them; they are good.  

They are one of the most expensive landscaping companies in  the area but they are the best. They are the most knowledgeable. They know about irrigation, the different plants, pruning, and their demands. They never abuse the pre approved payment I have set up for repairs. They do an excellent job. They have specialists in tree trimming and re sodding. They provide all of the services needed. They are all very polite and courteous. They dress in uniform. They communicate effectively and do a very good job.

We had received several bids to do the project with our original budget starting at about a third of what we ended up spending but the 3D rendering that owner Greg Struhl showed us moved us to do the job right and we are glad we did.
Greg and his team are very professional. Abel, Ruben and their crews were prompt within 5 minutes every day. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves every day. Ruben even showed up the day after work was finished to explain how the lights and irrigation works and answered all 99+ questions we had.
We also feel secure with the 1 year warranty they give on the project.
We're still getting used to all the neighbors stopping to admire our yard everyday.....thanks again to Greg and your Team!

They were excellent.

This job was flawless from start to finish. The estimator was Kevin. He was a true professional. Completely understood our modest budget. Offered his excellent aesthetic ideas (landscape architect by training, I believe). He was always accessible by cell phone, dealt pleasantly with the various iterations we considered, and in the end, designed a great plan. Kevin's plan design was so detailed and thorough that our contact for the Design Committee of our Homeowners Association told us "this is the model for how plans should be submitted." And our HOA is known to be tough on such topics. The team that did the construction was excellent. The quality was superb, the timetable they laid out was followed (except once, and they explained the delay and then performed exactly as 'Plan B' was proposed). All materials were of the highest quality. We received a quick approval from our HOA upon completion. My wife and I absolutely love the finished product. Every evening the climate permits, we use our "bonus room" for cocktails and a sunset dinner.
