They are based out of Las Vegas with California stores. I eventually got my money back from the Big Deal because I found out that the prices were cheaper without the Big Deal. There was a lot of additional charges.

After paying $27 for the deal, we were re-informed that it was just for the service call and would not be applied toward any services. The appointment was scheduled quickly. The work on the lock was done efficiently and quickly and cost $100. The technician provided us with additional information about our lock as well.

I purchased a Big Deal for a service call because I had lost the front door key to our rental property. They came quickly and had the door open in no time. I requested that he replace the locks since I had no idea how many copied keys were floating around and he suggested a lock type with keys that can't be copied. I had no idea they existed and was so grateful for the professional advice.

On time , friendly , not pushy or over selling and was kind when correcting some mis conceptions i had about break in paths and just what a bad guy would do to get in

I asked to have my locks rekeyed to make them all the same and was told this was not possible. I purchashed two new combination locks and asked for them to be keyed the same and was told this was not possible. They installed them. I asked for the combinations to be the same and they were willing to do that. They appeared to be unhappy because I did not purchase their locks which were more than twice as much as the ones I bought elsewhere (same brand and model). The Coupon was a come-on.

Everything went fine excepted the bill. I feel I was over charged. For this reason I didn't want to write review.

Upon arrival, they ask if i would like security locks and told me it is a lot safer so i told them to go ahead. Few hours later when they were done, i was shocked to be handed the bill for over $900, and they pretty much told me the angie's list discount was a joke. I did not want to argue with them so i paid them and send them on their way. Did i got ripped off? YOU BET! was the work good, i should hope so for $970 to change two locks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall it was an excellent experience. I would recommend them and I will use them again the next time I need a locksmith.

Called to set up an appointment, someone was over to do the job within days.

I contacted them soon after buying the Deal to schedule the appointment. The woman I spoke with told me that the service call would be $55 for the service call and that someone would come out. In the coupon, it also stated that additional rekeying would be $12 per lock. A few days later the locksmith came out and told me that the coupon I bought, only covered the price of the service call and that re-keying would be $35 per lock instead of $12, basically rendering the Big Deal useless. Instead of having him do the work I just told him to leave and didn?t pay a thing and I am getting a refund on the Deal from Angie?s List. I ended up going to Home Depot and bought three locks, paid $60 for them and installed them myself.

In order to add a lock to the door, it required a new handle.

Locksmith was courteous and responsive arrived on time and explaied prices up front.

The locksmith was punctual, he was prepared, and he knew how to do his job properly. Its hard to find quality service these days, but I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with ABC.

As a precaution, whenever you see one company offering services as wide as Las Vegas and most of Los Angeles, odds are they use lots of sub-contractors, which was the case here. So if you use these guys, ask if they'll be sending a sub-contractor. It's hard to grade in those instances and you don't want to hurt a small guy trying to make a buck. Also, this was an Angie's list deal. So they came to the house. I was told that the work needed would be more than the price of the deal. If I refused, I still had to pay a service call fee, even if they didn't do any work. So ask ahead of time if that will be the case.

Technician very professional and proficient. Management however needs better customer training. I was quoted one price for services over the phone and told a different price by technician when he arrived. Called teh manager and was told that the technician price was right because the original price quoted to me was "by just a guy in a call center in Las Vegas. He doesn't know any better". Better training required for all here. Very disappointed. Will not use again.

I told the whole story in the above paragraph. The response was rapid. I received a call to set up an appointment a day or two after I made the $49.00 purchase. The parent company is based in another state and the call was set up by an appointment setter, not by the actual folks who made the house call and did the work. I made the appointment, and the locksmith arrived right on time. No complaints.

When I spoke with them on the phone they said it was $55 for service call for $20 for each lock (and I had 4 locks). I purchased the Deal which they encouraged me to do so that I could show it to them when they came out for a discount. They came out and said that it would be $75 for service call and then $35 per key. I called back and they said those were weekend rates even though when I scheduled for the weekend they quoted me these “weekday rates”. I called back 10 minutes ago and they tried to just shift the blame on an issue with a new employee. I decided to get a refund and use someone else.

I purchased a $44. Big Deal coupon from Angie's List for this company which covered a service call to perform different locksmith services including the rekeying of door locks. The technician arrived on time and we discussed the work to be done. He told me that the locks on the doors were cheap and could easily be compromised and that I should upgrade them. I asked him for a price to upgrade the three locks and he told me $719.00. I told him to just rekey the existing locks. He quickly went to work and finished the rekeying in about 30 minutes which included three keys. Once finished he presented me with a bill for an additional $78. I told him I thought that the Big Deal coupon covered the service call and he said that the Big Deal coupon was only for him to come to the house, not to perform any work. The total price for the rekey of three doors turned out to be $122. When I contacted two other local locksmiths for pricing I realized I had overpaid this company. The first locksmith quoted $90. which included a service call, rekeying all three doors and leaving four new keys. A second locksmith quoted $78. for the service call, the rekeying of three locks and three keys. Perhaps it's my fault for not realizing that the Big Deal Coupon didn't include any work. Next time I'll read the coupon much more closely. While the technician's work was fast and acceptable I didn't like the upfront sell of expensive locks. In addition, the coupon terms should have more clearly stated that the coupon was only for the workman to show up and didn't include any service performance.
