The tech showed up on time. He went through the house and recommended what was needed to complete the lock change. He did the work in a timely manner. I would recommend them.

It was ok; the only thing is that my lock is still getting stuck. I mentioned it when he was here and he gave me a solution, but I don't think I should have to lean against my door to lock it. It's not a problem, just a slight annoyance. I'd use them again.

Our door locks have always been hard to operate, but we kept putting off hiring a locksmith until a key broke off in the front door. Fortunately it was on the day we were to arrive home from vacation that our house/doggie sitter broke a key off in the front door after putting the dogs inside, and couldn't get back in to retrieve her phone. She couldn't call us anyway as we were on a plane. So nxt day we went to Angie's List and found a coupon deal of $35.00 for $75.00 work at ABC Locksmiths. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. The locksmith recommended we get better locks; the ones that can't be bumped. We had been talking about better locks for a long time, and the price was about what we had expected to pay for good ones. He adjusted them so they are now a pleasure to open with the key. Now we no longer dread using our front door. I'm very happy that we found ABC Locksmiths on Angie's List.

I bought a deal for $35 dollar for a $75 job. He showed up on time but basically said that the deal is just for him to show up and I have to pay for anything that he touches. Actually I needed a few things to be fixed but since he wanted to charge me so much for every little thing, i just had him fix the guest house lock which took 5 minutes to replace and paid $100.

Overall, the actual work was done promptly and efficiency. I just have a problem with th cost.

Installation was very professionally performed. Door is now safer.

Paid for a service call which included just showing up and quoting on overpriced re keying of locks.

I had requested a re-keying service but the locksmith who showed up told me that the lock I have is the cheapest one on the market and does not provide any security. He sold me up on a high security lock which is a knockoff of the original masterlock. He said that this lock is only slightly inferior in quality than the original and is a very good value. After doing some research on the internet later I found out that the lock is much cheaper than what I paid for it and that it is not of the quality that I expected. Overall I feel like I overpaid.

Avi was professional, punctual, and very knowledgable. He tried to repair the lock, but once he determined that the it was too old to refurbish, he created a brand new one that would fit the same key. He was great and we would definitely call him again for any locksmith services.

ABC Locksmiths are a total rip off. I would never use them again and I would never recommend them. They didn't clearly explain their trip charge, I had a problem with my front door lock, the guy came out and said the he didn't have that part in his truck and so he couldn't fix it and so he wanted to look at something else and he didn't want to adjust it so that we could close the door a little easier. He literally adjust one screw and charged me another USD 40 on top of the big deal. He did nothing. The lock prices that he had were double those at the store.

He did the job quickly and right. He explained why the original replacement door knob that he mentioned on the phone would not work and it was clear to me that what he said made perfect sense. He was (unnecessarily) apologetic and asked if it was okay to charge me a couple dollars more, explaining the knob he needed to use was a bit more expensive. This was fairly clear to see even without his explanation. He threw in a couple of extra keys at no charge. We had a very nice chat about lots of things afterwards, given that we both had some time to spare. Nice guy. Honest. Knew what to do and did it.

The technician was polite and effecient as he rekeyed the front door, removed the door lock on the garage door and installed a heavy duty key code access lock. Attempted to install a lock on the sliding glass door and ran into issues. The company was easy to work with over the following two days to get the sliding door pane replaced.

When he came out and looked at the job I needed him to do, he told me it’d cost about $300 to repair just one lock. I’ve had that front door repaired in the past; they changed and rekeyed all the locks for less than his quote. I feel like I could’ve gotten that quote for free elsewhere.

The original fee which I paid to Angie's List was for ABC Locksmiths just to come to the house. So there was a further charge to return and repair the lock. The replacement lock no longer locks when you shut the door, it has to be locked with a key. I would tell people that they are expensive and not very good. This person that came to the house the first time did not do any repair.

ABC locksmith was referred to me by a friend. After my phone call to ABC, they were at my house the next day to re-key all my doors. The technician was prompt, courteous, friendly and smart.

The experience was very nice. The guy was able to tell us exactly how much it was going to cost. He gave us good options. He looked at the middle price option. He cleaned up after themselves. There was a little bit of a mess and he cleaned it all up. It was a great service. He was prompt. He told about the time he would be here and he was here. He was very personable and very nice. We would highly recommend him

The locksmith arrived on time and was helpful. Even though he tried to sell me an extremely expensive knock before he began to try and repair the damaged one. In the end he repaired the damaged lock and it works fine.

Great! Service was timely and for the job I thought the cost was appropriate.
