ABC Locksmiths

Nothing was done. When I called to get the work done I was told it had expired. Service was NOT DONE! I was forced to fill in a date above in order to submit this form. This date is just a made up date as NO WORK WAS DONE! Why do I have to LIE and say what date the job was done when I checked a box saying the job was NOT done?

The most surprising thing was how quickly they responded. In less than an hour from the initial call they were finished replacing two locks. Can't ask for more. Of course everyone always wants to pay less but they are worth it.

I saw their "Special" on Angie's List: $49 for $100 of Mobile Locksmith Services .I noticed that they had offices in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Before I purchased the special, I called their office to confirm what was included in this fee. I was very clear that I resided in Los Angeles. I was assured by the receptionist that the $49 fee would cover my request to change the locks on 2 doors. I purchased the Special Coupon and arranged an appointment time. My husband took the morning off from work to meet them at our house. They did arrive on time, however, the technician told my husband that he could not honor the $49 special coupon. He said that special price was for Las Vegas customers only. He then quoted my husband a much higher fee to do the work. We declined their services and notified Angie's List. Angie's List did reimburse my credit card the $49 fee. We eventually called another Locksmith in our area to complete the work at a much lower fee than the ABC Locksmith technician quoted us. Unfortunately, we would not hire this company again. We felt like it was a "Bait and Switch" situation.

It went well. The young man did not talk very much. I thought it was overpriced.

Small home safe Problem . They did not show up . Twice. I ended up going to some else. Who was much cheap and did the job on time.

They did fine! There were more charges beyond the big deal amount. It ended up being about $150. They came out within a month of the big deal purchase I think. It was a relatively straight forward job. The person was on time and had all the equipment that he needed to do the job. So it went fine. It wasn't a very complex job but they did everything that they needed to do.

It was good. They came out pretty quickly. There were extra charges for the part that they had to purchase. They were prompt, friendly and he tried to save me money. Instead of doing what I thought I would have to do, replacing a whole door knob, he just replaced a dead-bolt.

It went well, very quick and efficient. Only complaint is that we had just redone the entire house with new carpet and the provider should have taken off his shoes or worn booties when stepping into the house. Hate to have to clean up after.

Received the Angie's list periodical in the mail three days before I was in need of locksmith. Called ABC Locksmith 10% discount for Angie's list members. They send Russell to my house that day. My home is 13 years old, so after looking for locks at Lowes I was worried ABC would not have a lock to fit the door, but Russell, being a forward thinking young man had a lock made in 2000 that he had saved. It works perfectly. Service was great. Thank you Russell.

The locksmith, a woman, came at the time agreed to,did her work and left. It was a very painless procedure. I would definitely use this company again

I purchased a big deal for ABC Locksmiths. It went well. We paid extra to have more locking hardware put in for certain doors.

He came out after I purchased the “Big Deal” and the service he provided was okay. He came out there in a sort of a prompt basis and he was trying to p*** me on changing all the locks on the house and I didn't really care for it. He is more interested on selling me on something totally different on what I predispose towards. I ended up paying him more because he said he couldn't change the locks and I had to buy a new lock. I wasn't really pleased with the service. He and I didn't get a along.

This experience was pretty much what I expected it to be, nothing spectacular. He didn't have the right handle to put on the lock. I was a little disappointed in that. I wouldn't recommend him or not recommend him, either way. I didn't like the fact that he didn't have the right lock and the lock was different than the one that was existing and he put the original one on instead. I didn't have any option. I needed to have it fixed so I told to go ahead and fix it.

Showed up on time. Adjusted locking mechanisms that were loose as well as rekeyed all locks. Only charged for rekeying and service call.

The person who handled the work was very knowledgeable pleasant and performed the job very efficiently.

Terrible. Would not return to repair the shoddy workmanship. Was not licensed to work in Nevada. Has no office or shop in Nevada. Stopped taking my calls. Warn subscribers!

Purchased a Big deal for ABC Locksmiths. Had them change the lock on the front door. We wasn't able to go with the standard deadbolt system. He gave us a good recommendation for the secure key system lock. He was prompt and completed the work in a timely manner.

Purchased a Big deal for ABC Locksmiths. The gentleman was knowledgeable and I thought the price was little expensive. They replaced a faulty part in the front door lock and the alarm box. They didn't provide any warranty on the work, that was not to reassuring to me.

They were responsive to getting an appointment set up and getting a tech out there. I felt they were honest, professional and a good evaluation of the situation.

The job went well. ABC needed to research the locks because of the age of the doors and style of the lock.. They found the locks and installed them with no problems.

They quickly assessed the problem, showed us what was wrong with the door handle/lock, told us how much it would cost to fix and how long it would take. They took care of the problem quickly and it is working better than ever.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for this service. They did very well and I have used them subsequently. I am very pleased with the service

My problem is not with the technician, Ryan, it is with the office staff. Ryan does a very nice job. They had to order a part. I had to be out of town, when the part came in, so I was scheduled as the first service call on May 16 with a window between 8-10. The technician didn’t arrive until 9:25. I had called the office at 8:00 and 9:00 to find out their whereabouts. Upon the second call, I spoke with Michelle, a supervisor, and was told in a very indignant manner that it was still between 8-10 and that the technician had to come to the office to get his truck checked out and that he was now on his way. After arguing with me about the window and me calling her out on the timing, she then proceeded to hang the phone up on me. All I wanted was honesty and an apology. If they weren't going to be there at 8:00, just make that clear.
