Brad came out and gave me all our options for repair and what each would cost from the minimum to complete replacement. Our warranty company of course was going to do the minimum which was still going to cost us around $900 to replace the outdated R-22. We opted for cash in lieu of repair and then hired A-Tech as we were not impressed with the A/C company thru our warranty. We choose to upgrade instead of keeping a 22 year old system. Work started at 8 am and we were up an running that afternoon. One week later very happy with the new system!

I think it was $59. They're really, really great guys. I was very, very happy with them. Called got an appointment. Very easy to get an appointment. The owner's name is Brad. When you call, you always talk to Brad; he's awesome. They came right on time. They're going to come and service my heating system in the Fall. I at one point did have an emergency. I had a furnace problem. I called, they were here within in three or four hours.This was not in high point season, but still. They were very responsive. The tech who came looked, figured it out very quickly and said: "You know what, I want my boss to come because I want to make sure that we're doing it properly.". I mean it's nasty because our heating system is in the attic here and it's not a fun job. Brad came as well, took a look at it and said yep, yep it was just a matter of replacing the fan because I at that point I was running the fan all of the time. He gave me some tips and pointers. They did the job, and the price was great. He doesn't upsell you. He doesn't try to give you stuff or sell you stuff that you don't need. He's just a really nice, honest, nice guy.

They were so professional and great! Unlike everybody else they didn't lie about whether or not our heater was leaking or if our A/C was costing us too much money. They said we could replace and it might be a good idea to, but that we did not have to do so. We decided to replace our whole system, and they still came in $1,300 under anybody elses price.

They were competent and fast

Brad answered phone promptly on a Sunday and gave us a two hour window for later in the day, btw 3-5pm. Arrived promptly at 3pm. We had already received a quote prior in the day but that service company did not have the part that was required on their truck and could not fix till next day. (He called other service guys and they did not want to work on a Sunday). We told Brad we wanted a second opinion but did not show him previous quote. He took a look at the unit and said it was the same thing as the other guy had said but quoted us almost $500 less. We then asked him about another part the first guy recommended and he said it was fine and did not need replacing. He also had the motor with him that was needing to be replaced. He went right to work and fixed it within about ½ hour. What a relief to feel some cool air the house was already up to 90 degrees! After completing the work he came in and explained everything he had done. He also told us about his maintenance program which we went ahead and signed up for. He came back on Tuesday and did a complete clean and tune up at no charge. Very professional, no hard sales. Says he owns the business himself and does not want to rip people off.

We had noticed a burning electrical smell along with smoke that set off our alarm system. The heater would not heat but smoke would continue to come from the air vent when the heater was turned on
The A-Tech person had to climb up into our attic to reach the heater. After investigation, he found a bad cap and oil that was leaking underneath the indoor motor and this was causing the smoke and burning electrical smell. He replaced the motor and had the heater working well again.
A-Tech was polite, professional and prompt.

i would recommend A-Tech to anyone who wants an honest job at a fair price.

I have many foster kids and the air conditioner that goes to the area everyone sleeps in broke as soon as it started getting hot outside....as is usually the case. I called A-Tech on a Saturday and Brad was at my door at the agreed upon time Sunday morning. He was able to get the air working quickly, didn't seem to be bothered by the plethora of kids and questions and birds and other pets running around.
