Unique Designs contacted me within days of submitting my kitchen remodel project. Mr. Alan Pando scheduled a meeting to show us a selection of products to choose from. After choosing the cabinets and the countertop desired, we received a price quote that was more than reasonable and based on customer reviews for Unique Designs, we chose to enter into a contract. When the materials arrived, Alan and his team arrived on site to begin the demolition of the existing kitchen cabinets and countertop and the subsequent installation of the new cabinets, countertop, cook top stove, and under-cabinet exhaust hood. Alan's team members are great ambassadors for his company. They are professional, courteous and accommodating. At the end of each day, the area was left as neat and clean as possible. Alan was wonderful in giving us options for our kitchen remodel to insure the job would be within our budget. His crew had high work ethic. John and Ulysses showed up on time and worked consistently all day - everyday - until the job was finished. No one was called away to work on other jobs during the remodel. We are very happy with our new kitchen.

We contracted Unique Designs LLC to replace 2053 square feet of old carpet with tile. Alan Pando, the owner, walked us through the tile selection process, in which direction the wood plank tile would be installed for best eye appeal, removal of the existing carpet, prepping the surface, and installing the tile. Alan set hours between 8 AM and 3 PM Monday through Friday. His crew was on time, never late, and promptly left at 3 PM. Laying tile involves geometry, particularly on curved walls, prepping the surface such that the end result is smooth as silk, and minimizing waste. The complexity level of tiling multiple rooms meant we had to work sequentially emptying one room then moving to another – this was accomplished flawlessly. The crew – Javier, Ulysses, Terry, and John – were respectful and highly enjoyable to have in the home. They helped move very heavy furniture and a weight machine, cut the tile outside, and didn’t break anything. And they worked at a breakneck pace. The job was completed in 10 days. Since our slab had some surface cracks and was uneven in places grinding and patching had to be done. They took care to contain the very fine concrete dust, masking off rooms with sheet plastic as needed. This is our second major project with Unique as they also installed a custom range hood and new tile backsplash in our kitchen with equally appealing results. The guys work with some music (set at a nice level) which somehow always seemed to match what we like also, a bonus over listening to floor grinding and saw work. They also watched the fort while we made a few appointments in town, another bonus that allows our daily life to move on with minimal disruption, key when one is living in the home as it is remodeled. The resulting surface is level, linear, and accurate with no high edges or jagged cuts. Tile spacers insured the outcome would be perfect and the grouting was on the money as well. Given the complexity of working around our lives and the scope of the work we could not be more pleased.

Unique Designs LLC is our go-to remodeler. The design, attention to detail, and relentlessly positive energy is what makes their operation a joy to experience. Also they produce the shortest completion punch lists we have ever seen.

The unique designs team installed kitchen cabinets in a kitchen remodel for us, and also tiled the surround of our fireplace. Both jobs were done with care - team members took pains to make sure all trim work was done in fine detail, asked for my input if they encountered any questions or obstacles, took time to talk through all my questions and concerns and left the job site clean at the end of each day. While working as the install subcontractors for a local tile/flooring/cabinets store, they even advocated on my behalf when one of the orders resulted in the wrong dimensions of a cabinet for a given space. We’re very happy with the end result of both jobs, and would readily bring them back for a third.

Alan and his crew were very professional and thorough. They did an outstanding job. The tile work was amazing, the painting was great. They gave great ideas for tweaks to our design. The price was very fair. I would highly recommend them. They were fast, friendly and efficient. Cleaned up each day and were careful with our house. Mr. Pando was great. He was helpful in helping us figure out what we could do, giving us ideas, and what could work best for us. He was good with changes and provided quick feedback & answers when I had questions. The job took 2 weeks but was about 6 days of actual work. The workers were fantastic. They arrived every morning right at 8am. They worked quickly and were sure to clean up as they went along and at the end of the day. I'd never had work done that was so neat & clean. The floors looked fantastic. The cabinets were exactly what we wanted and were better than we expected. The quarts countertop was installed very quickly and is beautiful Everything fits perfectly and we've had zero problems. We also had 4 pot lights installed and a ceiling fan relocated. Again, Unique Design's work was quick and very clean. I really would recommend Mr. Pando and Unique Design. He and his workers were very polite, clean, and they did great work

Outstanding! Alan and his crew were very professional and easy to work with. They came to work on time, every day, worked diligently and the project was completed actually ahead of schedule. Communication was excellent. the quality of workmanship was top notch. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I definitely would, and probably will, hire them again for another project.

After getting two glowing recommendations from other pros, I called Alan and we were able to schedule an appointment very quickly at my home. He had great ideas and recommendations as we walked the job at my home. He was clear when he said it might take a little while to hear back since he’s very busy and we understood, of course, but now it’s 6 weeks later. Nothing. No call, no text, no email. I think it’s because I had already ordered my countertops but I don’t know because he never got back to me.

The were the best. They came every day exactly on time and cleaned up after each day on the job. Here in Las Cruces, to get anybody to come on time is a miracle. They came on time and were very professional. I would highly recommend them to any and everyone. Alan and his team were simply wonderful. We were interested in a number of things (1) a good estimate (2) once the work started, continuity and solid work to finish (3) quality. We got all three. Alan always kept us in the loop and we never felt neglected. His estimate was very fair from our point of view. For such a serious make-over the job was done in exactly 2 1/2 weeks. His workers were friendly, prompt, clearly professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. The work in every respect was excellent. There was a gap between the new granite and the existing back splash, and they ran a piece of trim in the same color as the cupboards around which really just set off the entire room. They offered suggestions that were helpful. Even though we had decided on a piece of granite, Alan found one he thought we might like better and got it to us and it was perfect for setting off our new cupboard color. We were simply happy from start to finish. I would recommend anyone use him.

I chose Unique Designs after obtaining several quotes because Alan quoted the best price, promptly replied to my email questions, and provided the most detail about the work that would be done. Everything promised was delivered exactly when he said it would be. He and his crew were professional, courteous, prompt, and respectful of my house and my pets. On the first day, they removed the old laminate counter tops, pass-through bar top, broken drawer cabinet and sink and installed the new cabinet, the new granite counter tops and bar, and the under mount double stainless sink. On the second day, they installed the faucet and disposal and were finished before noon. They hauled all the old materials away and left the work site clean. I'm planning to replace the bathroom counters and sinks in the future, and I will definitely choose Unique Designs again.
