After our initial estimate it took the contractor a week before he showed up. His workers would work a few hours and then leave and not come back for days. The owner took down the rain gutters to rid them of debris and never put them back up, they are still laying out in the yard. I'm unable to go look at the roof due to a handicap so I'm not sure if it's even finished. I have to take the word of the contractor. The provider began repairing the damaged stucco post but did not finish. He stated he would be back the next day. I have not seen him since. I've phoned the company only to get no response. My roof still leaks and the rain gutters are still laying in my yard. The owner seemed genuine but he is not honest and therefore I'd not recommend him.
Description of Work: The provider promptly came over to give estimate and we agreed to him fixing our roof and sealing it, the provider also agreed to fix damage to a stucco post free of charge.

The job started very wall. The company representative was responsive when called for a quote. They showed up on time and was professional. The price of the job was reasonable and within the expected budget. They were flexible with our start date. The start of the job went well. The owner in charge of the operations showed up with his workers on time and they got right to work. They made a lot of progress within the first 2 days of the job working in the living room area. On the second day fo the job, a sub-contracted plumber went into a bedroom area to look at piping without our knowledge. The owner in charge of operations said he let him and watched him the whole time. The bedroom doors were found to be left open when my wife came into the house and no one was in the area. The third day, my wife noticed that her engagement ring that was left on the night stand, not anywhere the workers were supposed to be. The owner patted down all workers and did not find the ring. We checked all vacuums and the entire house and could not find it. Our best guess is that someone entered the bedroom and stole the ring since they left the less flashy wedding band. After the ring went missing, things just didn't quite seem to go so well after that. We evaluated whether to continue with the company or not. Decided to continue with them and they came back the following week to continue the demo work. They completed the demo work and started back with installation of the drywall, mudding, and texturing. They had to perform work in a bedroom that we were still using and thus had furniture in the room. When it came to sanding of the joint compound, they only put a piece of paper on the floor to prevent it from falling straight down on the carpet. Unfortunately they did not buy drop cloths for anything else and all furniture got covered with dust. After cleaning this up, the next day they had to sand the texture and the same issue occurred. When it came time to priming and painting, the company decided to use a paint sprayer. This would not normally be an issue except that they only masked the sides of my glass sliding doors and windows. With no circulation, they were covered with overspray. Also during the process, the painter did a poor job of masking or keeping it where it should've been. Pictures are attached. The painting of the living went as planned. But the painting in our bedrooms did not go so well. The painter painted a whole wall and did not stop painting when it was obvious that it was not a match. We had to ask him to stop and do a color match. Once the color match was done, then the appearance was acceptable. The company did a good job installing the flooring, The only issue I had is that I had asked the company to order transitions for me as they would know best what they needed and they turned around and told me to order the transitions as they would be more comfortable. After flooring install was the install of base board/mouldings. We had asked them to paint our natural finish moulding white. During the middle of the job, the owner had asked if he could purchase new mouldings which would already be primed to save them time. He mentioned a number like T102 would work well. I didn't know what the number meant, but assumed that he would replace with similar/like kind moulding. When they came to install, they installed 2.75" moulding vs. the 4.5" that was previously installed. It was very obvious as you could see the old caulk line. When we asked them to replace with 4.5" the owner expressed his displeasure as they were close to finishing the job. The last piece of the job was a box they were going to install over the headers at the top of the ceiling. They had to use several pieces to span 18' across the room. Our issue was that they did not fill gaps with putty or sand them level, so the gaps were immediately visible. It appeared to me that after I asked them to fix the issue they got frustrated and decided to not fix or complete this. In the end, they came to pickup their equipment and did not complete clean up. I still had overspray on my windows, chandelier, and masking paper left on a skylight. The company did credit me the amount for the work to box in the header and gave me a $1000 credit to cover my home owners insurance deductible for my wife's engagement ring. Work in the end was satisfactory for the most part...I just feel it shouldn't have been so painful to get to this point and wish they would have finished cleanup and done a final walk through to assure I was satisfied. I have attached pictures of the work and what was left over.

Description of Work: Salesman or owner came by and gave an extiment and brosure. For a high gloss dye and finish on the floors. They did the job but it looked like they had spilled paint on the floor. The owner came by and told me the high gloss was about 3 x the cost but would have his men come back and try to touch it up. They did come back but it was still not ok . From that point on the owner would not return my call or come back..

Over all we spend a month performing the job. Mostly went well. We made a couple of adjustments to the contract to add the kitchen backsplase at the suggestion ogf the tile installer. At the end the contractor mentioned that they wwere having problems meeting their payroll, so I payed him for the job. At that time I asked if there woud be any problem if we found tiles that needed replaced. He said "no problem,. Mark them, give me a call and I'll send someone over".There were several things that were left undone:Trim not replaced, Paint left on windows, Kitchen Mirror not mounted, Sealer not applied to Kitchen backsplash. As we moved back in I notice some of the tiles were uneven and began to call about them. They did not respond. We sent them an emails. Months passed, still no response. In April I began to document the calls I was making to the contractor. Leaving messages, talking with the receptionist, sending photo's by email. I even asked them if I could contract others to do the work and send them the bill. In addition they did a poor job of cleaning up; cleaning their paint brushes in the rock garden and leaving their sign in the yard. DON'T PAY THEM UNTILL THEY FINISH THE JOB!!!! YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN.
