Description of Work: Windsor installed two electric garage door openers. The installer arrived when scheduled and worked efficiently to finish the project. He then acquainted us with various features of the new openers. We are very satisfied with the work.

Description of Work: I called to make an appointment for them to come out and fix my garage door and the Windsor man did some trouble-shooting with me and walked me through fixing it myself. It was just a matter of aligning a couple of LED lights up correctly. I was impressed that he preferred to solve the problem ASAP rather than making an easy $79 with a very simple service call. I have written down the name of this company and if we have trouble in the future I will definitely call them!

 + -1 moreI was happy overall. They measured the space, and then showed me various options for the garage door (such as color, insulation level, design, etc.). The door installation had one hiccup: they had to change it to a low-overhead style door instead of standard door, but they took care of everything and didn't charge me any extra. Good work, would recommend.

 + -1 moreService person came out right away, worked on the door a bit but could not make it work with exisiting parts. Gave us an estimate of $250 + tax and came back the next day to install. Very friendly and responsive. Didn't appear to charge us for the initial service call. Total was higher than I wanted to spend but less then the last time I had a different company work on the same door. Willing to work with my schedule, very important as I have little kids, school pick up etc.
Description of Work: Installed new torque tube on garage door.

 + -1 moreThe technichian was here on time and stayed past 5pm during the last service call. People respond on the phone right away and give me a reasonable estimate on when to expect someone.
Description of Work: Had called previously to server a garage door that had a spring go out. Called again for the other garage door that had the same problem. Now have problems with boot garage doors, and calling again. Probably need to buy new doors due to the prolonged wear and tear. May pursue that.

 + -1 moreMy elderly father needed his broken door replacement quickly. Windsor worked with us very closely to find one in stock that would fit, matched his house, and expedited the installation. The installers were extremely professional and quick, very respectful, and the project was overseen by the individual who coordinated the sale and transaction. All this, even though the job was 60 miles away from Albuquerque. We were very, very pleased, and I have since called them for my own home garage repair.
Description of Work: Framed up garage opening to fit modern door, installed new door and opener, removed old one and hauled it away.

Description of Work: I called this company to get an estimate for a new garage door opener. I had gotten two other estimates and the companies quoted me a price over the phone, then when they saw my old set-up, they came up with problems that would double the cost. Plus, they said it would take extra equipment and time. When I called Windsor Door, they gave me a quote over the phone and I told the man, Andy, what the other companies had done and that his guy should look at it first because the others said it would be a tricky installation. Andy sent a man out that afternoon. The guy looked at the present setup and said no problem, described what he would do, and did it right then and for the quoted price. The new opener works great and is so quiet!!!!

Description of Work: Had them on two occasions; one to fix a door that had tangled cables. They were so responsive and reasonably priced that when it came time to replace my garage door openers, I called them.

 + -1 moreTold me they had the section in-stock. When it delivered and my old section was taken off and virtually destroyed, they discovered that the replacement section was 6 inches too short. They brought out a bent-up damaged second replacement (after claiming it was new)...then, having no other alternative, set the second replacement on the door and said they'd order a new section. Tried to charge me full price for a new section plus shipping ($400), but I told them I would not pay more than the agreed $320. They wound up replacing the damaged section with a new one and charged only $300 after I spoke with one of the owners. I'm satisfied, but it took two visits and me taking a day off from work to get this accomplished.
Description of Work: Replacement of one damaged (lowest) sectional door segment in a Martin door previously installed by Windsor, but damaged (minor dents) by me(member).

 + -1 moreThe young man arrived a few minutes early. We walked into the garage and I explained that the door had been shuddering when it lowered. He walked over to the mechanism and immediately diagnosed a missing bolt, which he said would explain the problem. He replaced the missing bolt and tested the door several times. He also told me that the door system, although old, should last a long time because it was so sturdily built. I had been concerned that I would have to replace it (which for various reasons was not a good option), so his information was reassuring.
Description of Work: My garage door automatic opener was not working properly. The door would open okay, but was making jerking motions, including stops and starts, while closing. After a day or two of this, it stopped closing. I called Windor for a service call. The door is wooden and the opener is at least 11 years old, and probably much older.
