Robert drastically underestimated the time it would take to do the job and vastly overestimated his capabilities. He was polite throughout and continually apologized for not meeting the deadline but the more chances I gave him, the worse the outcome. Ultimately I stopped the work after 5 days (original promise of 2 days to complete) and it's going to cost about $4000 to fix the damage done to my home. In addition, I am unable to live in my home until it gets fixed because of the mess that he left. The kitchen floor is irreparable because of pools of paint on the floor. I have paint spray across the refrigerator, stove, and other fixtures. He left trash everywhere. There are stains on the carpet, wet brushes and rollers and open cans of paint in all of the rooms. The problem is so serious that I am considering small claims court to recoup some of the money I paid him. He is NOT a qualified painter and despite what he tells you, is not capable of doing this type of work. Based on this performance, I would seriously doubt his other claimed capabilities as well. Save yourself time, money, and headaches and seek out other professionals.
