Mr. Marshall was very professional and polite, and did a very good job. I was not clear that parts were not included in the coupon. Otherwise, his service was very good!

He fixed the problem quickly and at a great price.

The touchpad on my 5 year old Maytag dishwasher was not working at all. I called Marshall Appliance Repair and Tim came out the very next morning. He immediately went to work and diagnosed the problem in no time. Upon replacing the defective part, the dishwasher was up and running like new. Tim was friendly, neat, conscientious, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him again, and highly recommend him for all your appliance repairs.

I was really satisfied with the dealing that I had with Tim. He knew what he was doing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I got. I know that this job is a routine thing for a good repair man, but I felt that he really cared about doing the job well. I had had another company here in town for some other work, and asked them about a broken hinge on my oven. They told me that it wasn't available, but Tim found one the next day, and will come to put it in when it arrives. I think that a repairman or company that attempts to find what you need shows that they care. Thank you, Tim, you restore my faith. I would highly recommend you to anyone who needs a repair done.

Tim took a look at our broken washing machine and advised us that it wasn't worth trying to fix a machine as old as ours with the problems that ours had. I appreciated his honesty.

Set up service very quickly, arrived promptly first thing in the morning, repaired dryer for very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend him to others, and will definitely use him again if we have other appliance repair needs.

He was able fix my refridgerator, and gave me suggestions on purchasing some new shelves and saved me a lot of money, and now my refridgerator looks brand new.

Tim was able to fit us in the same day we called(although he was booked). He was easy to work with and very informative explaining the problem, how the unit worked and what he was going to do to fix it. We will call him whenever we need repair work done again.

The cycle timer on the GE Dishwasher was behaving erratically on the Friday before the Labor Day weekend. I called Tim, and he agreed to come out the next day (Saturday). The only negative was he had said he would be there shortly after noon, and he did not arrive until sometime after 3:00 PM. After disassembling the machine and diagnosing the problem being associated with the cycle timer, he advised that due to the age of the machine and the cost of a new panel a new machine would be the way to go. At this point he mentioned that he had noticed that the strip cable to the timer was delaminated, and could be the cause of the malfunction. He offered to attempt to fix the delimitation as a temporary fix to the problem to which I agreed. He used instant glue to effect the repair, and then reassembled the machine, and test ran it. It performed as it was supposed to. He charged me for a service call, and left with a request to call him back to let him know how the unit performed. I was impressed with his noticing the delimitation of the input cable and offering to fix it instead of ordering a new part.

Tim clearly explained how the temperature regulation of the freezer & refrig were inter-related by the air-flow betw the 2 compartments and also how the temperature varied in different parts of the 'frig &freezer - useful info to me. Additionally he put in a simple $2 part my refrig didn't come with that may keep the same problem from reccurring,in the course of his work he discovered that the ice maker that I thought was broken was working, and he left the work area clean. Tim impressed as an honest/trustworthy, intelligent, and highly personable man who knows his trade well and looks out for his customer's best interest.

He was very good. He came on Memorial Day. It didn't work and he said that it needed a second board. He couldn't get it locally and he said it would take 2 days to get here. I had company and we were going away for a few days. He gave me his mobile phone number and I called him on the way back. He came back and put in the second board. It was a trying time for everybody because I couldn't cook. He was very, very good. He stayed until 6 or 7 at night so he was very accommodating. He went above and beyond what I would normally expected. It was expensive. He was so helpful. My oven has been working ever since he put the board in. The manufacturers only offered a 90 day warranty. So far everything is okay.

Tim did a great job. Very professional and easy to work with. He knows his stuff.

Tim's service was an extremely happy ending to a very frustrating experience. Our washing machine developed a leak a little more that a week before the date of Tim's service call. At that time we called the Sears service department (the machine is a Sears Kenmore). We were given a service appointment a week and a few days out on August 14. The Sears serviceman arrived in the morning of the 14th, tipped the machine over,inspected the bottom, and in a few minutes determined that the drain pump was leaking. 20 minutes, a new drain pump, and $210 later, he declared that the leak was fixed. Shortly after he departed, my wife ran a load of clothes through the machine and it leaked exactly as it had before. A call to the Sears scheduling bureaucracy resulted in another appointment being offered a week in the future, and a $65 credit was offered as compensation for our dissatisfaction with their "service". Waiting another week (after not having washed clothes for entire week already) and paying a net $145 for a non-repair was not acceptable. I turned to Andy's list, which I should have done in the first place and selected Marshall Appliance Repair. Now the great part of the story! When I called, Tim Marshall answered the phone himself. He found that he could fit us in in the afternoon of the same day. Tim arrived on time. From the start, I had hope that things would go better the time because Tim did a much more thorough examination of the machine than the Sears repairman had done. In doing so, he found the real, low-tech source of the leak-an old, brittle drain hose that had a crack in it. Tim did not have a replacement hose of the right size with him and it was now too late in the day to get one from the parts supply store. Tim said he would get a new hose when the store opened in the morning, and be at our home by 9:00. He arrived just a little bit early. He installed the hose in a few minutes and ran the machine through a cycle to verify that the leak had, in fact, been fixed. The first technician had omitted this step. Tim was punctual, knowledgable, and conscientious. He charged a reasonable price for the work done. I am pleased to recommend him without any reservations.

Our dryer began having problems on Friday 8/8/14, I called Angie's List and purchased a coupon from Marshall's Appliance Repair for $115. They contacted me by e-mail over the weekend to make the appointment for Monday AM, and to get the details on the machine as to its model and serial #'s, and the problem we had encountered. This was to ensure the repairman would have the proper parts in his inventory so that he would not have to go back for parts. The appliance was a Whirlpool brand that we originally purchased in 1985. It has given us excellent service and has had one previous overhaul. We are very attached to it, and appreciated his competence it effecting the repair. After inspecting the machine, it was determined that the overheating problem was probably due to internal buildup of lint which restricted the air flow. In addition, it was determined that an over haul kit was in order as the drive belt was getting cracked, and new rollers were in order. Tim Marshall was efficient, and knowledgeable about the dryer, and proceeded with assurance and made me feel that he knew what he was doing. He cleaned out the lint buildup, and installed the overhaul kit after consulting with me that it was acceptable. The charge was for the $115 service coupon which covered the labor plus an additional amount for the overhaul kit making the total charge for $169.29 I was very satisfied, and would be pleased to use his services again when called for.

Tim is Very professional, friendly, very kind. He is very determined to figure out the problem to fix it! He was good at explaining things to me as he was working on fridge. When I called Tim, I went over issues having with fridge. He brought few different parts with him that he thought could be causing the defrosting of my freezer. Glad I reviewed some of the issues with Tim, allowed him to review anything he needed to, so that when he came to home he was efficient with the fix of my freezer. Needed starter capacitor. Price was reasonable and fair. Afterall, I kind of felt bad for Tim having to squeeze behind my fridge to test the parts. I'm in a rental and the island in front of fridge is permanent, making it difficult to get fridge pulled out completely. He cleaned up after himself. Tim did a Great job and I would use him again and refer him for appliance repair.

Tim determined that our stove was very old (25 years +) and that it would be extremely difficult to find the replacement part needed to put the oven back in working order. I believe if it were fixable this guy could have made it happen. We would use him again if the if the need arose.

They were very good. He was very friendly and he really wanted to fix it and he went trying to find parts at a reasonable price that he could fix but it was a complex piece of electronics and he thought he might have one and he checked it and called around and he didn’t. The cost of putting a new part was just wasn’t worth it. It was fair priced.

Fabulous. Tim was easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule, on time, very competent. He got right to work, pulled the double oven out, used diagnostic tools to determine the issues. He did have to make a parts run but was promptly back at the house.

He also tuned up the frig and cleaned it up at no extra charge.....And......get this, he cleaned up his mess after the work was complete. Go figure, an instrumentation professional with class! For only $324.00,that represents an $1,100 cost avoidance savings not having to purchase a new frig!

Oh my gosh; I can't say enough about this experience. Not only did Tim Marshall take care of the plugged drain, he inserted a metal piece which most likely will prevent the problem from recurring. In addition, he leveled the fridge so the doors will close properly (finally), explained to me how I can use the ice maker without the household water supply, and opened up the back and vacuumed it. He looked at every aspect of the workings of the appliance which could be causing problems and fixed them. I bought the Whirlpool top-mount refrigerator in 2009 from a "big box" store. In 2012, it needed a new evaporator motor. Not being a member of Angie's List at the time, I got the $285 repair from another "big box" store. It probably should not have cost that much. Tell Tim when you call what is going on, and he most likely will diagnose it over the phone so he can bring the necessary parts with him. I have become a stringent believer in spending money locally whenever possible. Angie's List helps us all in this important effort. His work and responsiveness are excellent, and he explains complicated matters in a way that is understandable.

Tim and I had 1st discussed the problems with my Washer & Dryer over the phone. He knew by our conversation, what parts were needed to repair both appliances. So, he purchased those parts prior to showing up, on-time, the same day. He performed the work in a timely and professional manner. His price was fair and both appliances are operating like new. I would definitely call Tim in the future.

Mr. Marshall was friendly, responsive, prompt, and very competent. He went out of his way to address all aspects of the repairs in a thorough way and offered helpful advise on appliance maintenance and related issues. When unexpected problems occurred with the garbage disposal, he cheerfully dealt with that, including going out to purchase replacement pipes. He was originally going to fix only the refrigerator freezer drain and gave me a reasonable price for that. He later gave me another quite fair fee for checking out the drainage on the garbage disposal. He was not going to charge extra for the doorbell or the unexpected complications with the garbage disposal but I added something for these services on my own. He also volunteered to check some shelves & compartments in my refrigerator that have cracked and offered to look up the prices for replacements for me to consider should I want to do that. Mr. Marshall will be at the top of my list to call next time I need to have an appliance repaired. Meantime, I definitely recommend him to anyone who's looking for a trustworthy appliance repair person.

I had Tim fix my refrigerator previously, so I knew he would take good care of me. He responded to my text quickly (early on a Saturday morning) and made arrangements to come by the same day. He asked me for the make, model and, serial number so he could research the problem before he got here. He had the problem fixed within the hour. He was friendly, professional and most importantly, he cleaned up after himself. Even my dog likes him! The next time I have a problem I will call Tim.

I called this provider after another provider failed to show up or call me when we had an appointment for a certain day. My call was made and answered and this provider came to my home within an hour. He did an analysis on the oven which showed an error code of F3 and would not stay on after reaching the programmed temperature. The error code indicated a faulty heat sensor, so the provider installed a new one. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. The provider did some research and determined that the probable cause for the failure was the ERC (computer board). There was no new part available for this older oven, so he found two companies which could repair the ERC, one which would charge $120.00 plus shipping and handling, with a six month warranty, and another which would charge $160.00 including shipping and handling, with a two year warranty. We chose the second company and the provider sent the ERC in for repairs. It was repaired and returned within a week and one half, at which time the provider returned and installed it in our oven. He tested it and found no error codes. The oven was fixed.
