Empire Yard Maintenance

I received an estimate immediately. The work was completed within a week, and they did what they said they would. Very professional.

The two guys were on time and did a nice job. They had to dig out a large overgrown shrub. Then they covered the hole and raked gravel over it. They also had time to do some trimming on a wisteria. The Big Deal time went very quickly but it was worth the cost.

They did exactly what they said they'd do and all looked great. I will contact Empire to do more work in the near future.

Top notch service on all accounts - The owner came and did a free estimate and the work was completed by two of his employees on schedule. All on time, no glitches, no problems, no mess when they were done! From owner to the crew, they were all very knowledgable, professional, polite, honest, hard-working, prompt and pleasant. It was a little tricky getting dirt into the fountain without chipping/scratching the flagstone seating area, the fountain, garden or the drip system, but they were very careful, used moving pads, blew off all the brick sidewalk and patio after they finished and it turned out fantastic! Definately pleased with the whole process. Thanks, guys!

The work was done cleanly with the owner making sure there were no weeds left on the front yard and two side yards, as requested. My yard work was done within two days of my request for the weed removal service. I am very happy with the work and results. I plan to call on Empire again in the Fall for leaf clean up.

Hired Empire to rejuvenate a rather sad-looking yard. (I'm lousy at lawn maintenance). After 4 months, lawn looks 100% better. Work is done on time, results have been good. I plan to retain Empire for the foreseable future.

I hired Empire Lawn care to clean my yard, trim a few bushes and weed. They forgot to weed. They cleaned around just one half of a tree. They trimmed one of the 3 bushes and almost killed the bush. Then they left the debris for me to haul away. I spoke with the owner Dave and noted that I was disappointed with the quality of the work and the fact that I had to clean up after the crew. His response was to bad mouthed his crew complaining that it is difficult to hire responsible crew members. He did send a crew back to weed but Dave never called me to follow up. I was looking for a bi monthly yard service - clearly this is not the company to use.

The service that they provided was ok and I was not overly thrilled. It seemed like they were a little bit quick to get in and out. They did not even say bye when they were leaving. It was like one second they were there and they next moment they were not anymore. They did what they needed to do but were just ok. It was a good deal that I received from them taking in to consideration their pricing. The only drawback was they did not provide the best customer service but the work they did was adequate.

The crew from empire yard arrived within five minutes of the scheduled time.. They completed the job in a competent manner and cleaned up the yard as well or better than I would have done myself. Very satisfied with the completed job.

Dave and his crew were awesome. Dave provided me an estimate the same day he returned my call and began the work a couple of days later. When they arrived, the supervisor immediately asked that I show them exactly what I needed done and began the task at hand. They were very professional and I was very pleased with the finished result. I even referred their services to my neighbor who was also pleased with their work. Another wonderful service they provide is weekly yard maintenance for a very good price. I would most definitely refer Dave and his crew to others. Great job.

If you want someone who is fair, honest, punctual, amiable and does what he says at a fair price, I recommend Empire Yard. The owner , David, is an honorable person. At times, when his crews were too busy to come out, he came out and fixed the problem on his way home. We never had a problem and I will use them again in the future.

David arranged a meeting the Friday I called. I showed him the work that I needed done and asked how quickly he could schedule it. He first said that he could have someone do the work on Monday. I told him about the service for my husband we were having in my home the next day (Saturday). He said in that case he would have someone come early Saturday morning the day we were having the wake. Antonio and Sam showed up right on time Saturday morning and soon had the side yard cleared of all the brush, limbs, stumps, etc. Another crew showed up and finished cleaning the side yard. It looks great. I so appreciated David's being able to provide the service so quickly. I normally would not wait until the last minute, but he was very understanding. I plan on continuing to use Empire for future needs.

David and his crew were amazing. First, David returned my call very quickly, made an appointment to come to our house. He was ontime and didn't mind coming to Corrales! He had rock samples in his truck which made everything really easy. He is knowledgable on what he does. He gave me a reasonable price for the job and the work is beautiful!!! I am so happy and can't wait to fix up other parts of the yard. If you call them, you will never look for another company to help you with your landscaping. Thank you David!

I've used Empire Yard Maintenance several times before so I knew I didn't even need to get more than one estimate. They are the best. Last year, they removed what looked like a completely dead Wheat Grass Bush from our front yard. They scraped back the gravel and cut it completely back level with the ground and replaced the gravel. This year, we got a letter from our HOA telling us to remove it because it was dead. Apparently, it is wheat color naturally because it completely grew back to its three foot height! But, I called David and told him and he said he would remove it again at no cost. I also asked him to remove a large Spanish Broom that was overcrowding a corner of our backyard. That was no easy task! It took them at least 11/2 hours to completely get the roots, and fill the hole, and replace the rock. Looks wonderful, though!

David, the owner, came to the house for a bid. He was personable and knowledgeable. We had other bids but decided to go with David. We asked him to return to finalize the bid since we were asking him to do additional planting work. The work entailed tree removal, sod removal decorative rock, edging, plantings of over 50 small plants, and installing emitters to the plants. Two workers showed up on time, worked in the 105 degree heat all day for two full days. They were excellent hard workers with real work ethic. David came by to check on the work periodically. Very happy with the results.

Had to call back to look at sprinklers as had been agreed on. Also, at that time showed plants that were paid for that had died. Said they would re plant following week.n never returned.
