Empire Yard Maintenance

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. In all honestly I didn't think it was worth the price. It wasn't really much of a deal. It was nice, I wasn't in a big rush and I said whenever you could please do what you can in the front. For $500 I think I got what I paid for as apposed to being any type of coupon deal. I think that's would I would have paid for through anybody else.

They were on time. Worked consistently to accomplish the tasks. Cleaned up the area. I am very satisfied and will hire them again.

The crew did a great job. They are always respectful, on-time and do a great job. They go above and beyond.

The service turned out fabulous. I have used them before and they did a great job. I do intend to use them again. They are responsive and they come on time. I would recommend them as they had to go through my home to get to the backyard and they put down material to make sure they kept my home clean.

They did their job and did what I asked pretty much. They were very punctual. They didn’t finish the job and I had to have them come back out. But they were willing to come back out.

When I ask advice on a particular issue or just a question, they are knowledgeable. They are extremely polite and professional . You cannot go wrong using this company.

It was terrific. I love them. I always tell people to use them. They are fantastic. They have fair prices. They always stand by their word and get here on time. Dave is a real nice guy to work with. They are everything you would look for in a vendor. The workers are usually good guys and all their work has been good.

David met with us the day before, when he arrived right on time. We agreed that he would supply the stone and men to install it in one day, and we would supply the landscape material and retainer staples. Total cost not to exceed $600 + tax which is exactly what his firm did. The next morning, his men arrived on time with the gravel, and began ground preparation immediately. That prep included removing an old tree root at the surface and digging a 3" deep trench where the dirt met the sidewalk so that the gravel had a place to grip. The men worked quickly without being rushed, and within 45 minutes started laying the stones. They methodically laid and evened out the stone, making sure that it was at a consistent level where the stones met the brick border that's at the back of the landscaped area. His employees were timely, polite, well-trained, careful and conscientious, and I enjoyed having them at my home. The result was a total transformation from a patch of dirt to a beautifully landscaped area! Thanks, guys!!

They were no call/no show the first day but called and were apologetic. They came out the next day did what we wanted.

I have used Empire Yard Maintenance earlier; they were prompt and did a good job. I would have used them for my daughter's yard but she had already made arrangements.

They did a super job! Yard looked great. They were friendly, dependable and reasonably priced. I will have them again!

It went very well. We bought the 4 hours of landscaping/yard clean-up deal for $111.00. 2 guys came for 2 hours. They were very professional, and did a great job. We have a HUGE yard that is a complete mess, so there is a lot more to do, but we are very happy with what they were able to get done during the time they were here. I will be messaging them soon so that they can come out to give us an estimate to finish up all the rest of it. Overall we were very pleased and will be using them again.

It was fine. They did a nice job. They were late in arriving but I understand how things like this go but they came and they were very polite and clean and did a nice job. If I was going to have anybody do it, I would call them.

Empire Yard Maintenance sent out Tony and Mike. It was amazing how much they got done in just a few hours of work. They were fast and knew just what they were doing. We knew that we had more work than the 4 man hours we purchased through Angies List. They said they would probably need about an additional hour to complete the work. They charged a dump fee, but we we were expecting it considering the enormous amount of tree limbs and cutting. They were well worth the money we spent hiring them. We will absolutely use them again when we need more landscaping taken care of. Thanks Tony and Mike. You did a GREAT job!

They're wonderful, absolutely wonderful! The two guys that visit take care of the yard and do a wonderful job. They're very thorough and it's a great company to work with. In New Mexico, we have terrible wind storms and tumbleweed problems. They're on it every two weeks. But when it gets really bad they're right there for us. It's great. I just can't say enough about the two guys that come. I wish I could remember their names. Anyway, it's Jason and then somebody. They're very accommodating and thorough. I highly recommend them. If they happen to mess up, they come right back, but they don't mess up. I think the price is fine for what they do, it's expensive, of course, but overall it's fair. I've had others and they weren't as through as this team of two. If they can't get there right away they always call me. Isn't that nice?

The young men that came to do the work were punctual and very polite. They did an outstanding job! The yard looks great!

It was very good. They were very prompt. They got back to me right away, which was great. I paid more than the "Big Deal" because I asked them to do other work. They came when they said they were coming. They got back to me immediately after I made the deal. The two guys that they sent were very personable and did whatever I needed done. They didn't quibble about anything I asked them to do or my wife asked them to do. It was a very easy job.

It worked out pretty well. They didn't spend much time as I anticipated and they showed me that they were buying some time to spend up, I think 3 hours or so, sometime in the future. I haven;t heard anything from the office yet but the lead man who came said that he would tell them that they owe me some time and that they would be in contact. They were basically on time, worked diligently and finished the job in less time than I anticipated and in less time that they anticipated. They did it satisfactorily. Their pricing was also good.

Arrived within the appointment window, very efficiently did a great job , and cleaned up after themselves.

After purchasing the deal, I was contacted to schedule the needed work. After scheduling the work, some bad weather was forecast for the scheduled day and I was contacted and we agreed on another time and day. On the new scheduled work day, the workers arrived on schedule and I indicated the work to be done which they proceeded to do. They completed the work and cleaned up the area nicely. With some time left on the deal we asked them to go ahead and clean the yard of leaves and such even though the time required would exceed the agreed deal so we agreed to pay the added cost. They continued and finished the yard cleanup. We were very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

The only aspect of the job I would have preferred is to have a better understanding of the communication between the crews and sales. That said, it was no more or no less than I have experienced from other landscape firms (or for that matter other local providers) so it wasn't a big issue and would not prevent me from using services again. I like to have total control over how a job goes as I am doing allot of the work on sprinklers and a perfectionist. The crews showed up and went to work right away. The removal of the tree and stump was perfect. No trace of the old tree and I can re-plant a new tree (smaller tree instead of a Mulberry). The grass was dead and so the sod removal was not a big issue. Hauling of the dirt and rototilling/leveling was a big part of the job. I felt the price was reasonable and glad to get it done. I am going to have Empire quote on some additional work as I found them to be reputable and did a good job.

All work was performed to my satisfaction and the fence will be used for a later job. My neighbors are now asking about who did the work in my front yard because they like the appearance of my larger yard. I am anxious to get the next phase of this remodeling done, which is the planting and putting in a dog run. I am, as always, impressed by the service David and his crew have provided. My neighbor, now being convinced, is planning her next project for David.

I purchased a "big deal" coupon for this service and got two men for two hours of work. I have used this company for regular yard maintenance for about a year now. I think highly of this company, and was not disappointed with the work they did on this occasion. I don't know what David Peltz does behind the scenes to train his crews, but all the workers he has sent to my home have seemed very customer-oriented. They've seemed to really make the effort to get things right and to satisfy the customer. I always feel that I get a full measure of work for the price I pay.
