This happened a day prior to the day we had to leave the country on a vacation. We left them in charge of everything. They did everything as promised and it was done to our satisfaction. Everything was done according to the quote. Their price was fine.

they were prompt, polite and courtesous, but I hired a company with a lower bid.

Company very concerned that they fulfilled our expectations, so we met multiple times before work was started. Once work began, they worked quickly and did a very good job. We got what we wanted. Their service is excellent.

They were very prompt and friendly. I had another problem a few days later and they came back out and fixed the problem even though it was not part of the original service. The service guy did not charge for the second visit.

This company was puncutual, professional, and skilled at their work. They were scheduled for a 4 hour job, but they ran into complications. They old AC had been glued to the roofing tiles. They went and bought new roofing tiles, replaced them, made some modifications, and continued to put the new AC. It took them 7 hours to finish the work. They did not charge extra for the roofing tiles or any other materials they needed. They did not charge extra for the additional 4 hours it took to finish the job. They arranged for an electrician to help with the wiring of the old house, too. We appreciated their hard skilled work and good communication skills as they ran into difficulties. I live in a different town and was informed of the details as they occured. My blind son was in the house where the work was being done. They treated him with respect and did not try to take advantage of his disability. He is enjoying a cool home now thanks to them.

I had a couple of leaks that needed to be repaired and a new kitchen sink and faucet to be installed. I had read good reports about Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling on Angie's List and the BBB. I called on a Wednesday, expecting to have to wait some days for an appointment. What a nice surprise to be told by a very pleasant woman that someone would be at my house the next day between 10:00 and 1:00! Ray called me the next day at 9:50, was at my house by 10:00, and got to work immediately (after greeting all my critters, which gives him extra points!). Ray was extremely professional, competent, and polite. He made it very clear that his goal is to do every job "100%". Indeed, he fixed one of the leaks and had installed the sink and faucet within a few hours. He then looked at the leak in my bathtub and, apologetically, informed me that he didn't have one of the tools he needed, so he would have to come back. Before he left my house, he had called his dispatcher and set up another appointment early the following Monday. Before our appointment time on Monday, Ray called to let me know he would have to order the part he needed - he had gone to several locations to purchase it, but no one had it in stock. We set up another appointment for Wednesday. He then called back a short time later to say that it might be as late as Thursday before he had the part - he just wanted to keep me informed. On Wednesday, Ray called before our appointment time to say he was on his way. He completed the job in a short time, promising to come back when I was ready for him to install the lavatory faucet I had mentioned! I was impressed with Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling from start to finish and especially impressed with Ray. He answered every question I had with "Yes, Ma'am", stayed in close contact about the part that needed to be ordered so I wouldn't be left wondering, let me know when he was on his way to my house, was always on time, finished the jobs in a very short time, did a great job, and was just a really nice person. And I love my new sink so much, I just can't stop washing dishes! Hooray! I will definitely use Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling again.

Matt knows his business, was well prepared when he showed up to give me a bid, answered all of my questions, and completed the installation in less than a week.....during what was one of the busiest weeks of the entire year. Not all plumbing experiences are good, and a lot of plumbers yank you around, whether it is because they are too busy, or don't really have the expertise.....who knows? I'm just glad that I know who the best in town is:-)

I was very happy with their hard work, efforts and how my fireplace was fixed and the price I had to pay for it. Finding the parts for my particular fireplace was difficult. Abq Plumbing tried calling around to various shops in town to find the part, then finally recommended we order the part from the manufacturer, which we did. They ended up coming out 3 times, first to figure out what was wrong with the fireplace, second time our mistake and no one was home during the appointment time, the third time, they fixed the fireplace with the parts we had ordered. They charged under $100 total. I highly recommend them!

Very knowledgeable and very professional. After two unsuccessful attempts with other heating and cooling companies plus an electrician, I was skeptical there was anyone I could trust. The service technician, Matt Gonzales spent a good deal of time explaining the problem with our refrigeration system and the consequences of each possible solution. Matt was bright with a solid knowledge of his trade. His patience and confidence inspired my trust in his honesty and competence. Matt offered the Angie's list discount before I had a chance to ask for it. I repeated this story to all my coworkers, family, and friends. My old water heater broke late Friday afternoon. Guests were arriving the following Tuesday. This company was very responsive to my situation. After several calls back and forth with a technician, I was assured a new heater would be installed on Monday afternoon. This promise was kept. My guests enjoyed hot showers, and I was pleased to get the 10% discount for Angie's List members.

The evaporative (swamp) cooler needed to be started for the season. I was going to do it myself but found the fan belt needed to be adjusted, replace the pump as well as connecting the tubing/drain/pump, etc. Since my roof ( 2nd story) is very steep and I'm not getting any younger (68) I decided to hire someone to do the work and repairs. I have been doing this all my life and it is always a real chore. I researched Angie's list, picked this company and called. Expecting to have to schedule days in advance since the hot weather is upon us, I was surprised when they said they would send someone out to do the job within two hours. The young man was right on time, very courteous and very competent. He finished the job in less than an hour. It would have taken me at least two days counting trips to the store. The price was great and I am a happy camper in my cool house.

The company subcontracts various technicians and it was just the luck of the draw that I got one that fairly new to working with them. We were a little shocked when he charged 2.5 hours beyond the $69 change-over fee but with the part he had to go get and his time on the roof he did spend that. It just seemed he was really slow and we weren't prepared for such a big bill. I was going to call the office the next day to have them look at the bill but they beat me to it and said the bill was being reviewed by the supervisor. When they called me back they adjusted it to remove most of the additional time and I felt the final charge more than fair. I've never had a plumbing company care so much about my being happy with their service.

Just fine - this company is a pleasure to hire. They are very professional and we are very pleased.

Our the pipes in our baseboard hot-water heating system had begun to clank and pop so much that they woke us up at night. I called two plumbing and heating companies to take a look at the system and recommend a fix. Matt Gonzales at Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating provided us with an honest assessment of the problem and offered three options for fixing the system: 1) bare minimum (cheapest but didn't fix the drainage problems); 2) adequate (mid-range cost, adequate fix but would not make it easier to address future drainage/pressure problems); and 3) best (highest cost, fixed design problems that impeded draining the system, allowed the system to be flushed with full pressure). We went with option #3, opting for a system that would be easier to repair and maintain in the future. Because our boiler is on the first floor of the house, its built-in system for venting air out of the system doesn't work as well as it should--because air rises, it's hard to get it downstairs to the vent on the boiler. The re-piping that Albuquerque Plumbing did addresses this problem. We had the work done in December 2009; it's now May 2010 and the system has been working perfectly. We were impressed by Matt's honesty and openness about the problems and his giving us several options to fix them.

Excellent Service! Received special discount without even asking! The Service Technician (Kenny) even used my old copper tubing and filter without trying to sell me new ones that I did not need. I will definitely use them for all my heating, cooling, and plumbing needs!

Did a good job but there was some reluctance. They insisted on getting lines marked, which was a good thing. I had to do the digging myself to expose the input line.

Swamp cooler needed to be turned on and new pads added for summer use. Toilets needed replacement valves to flush properly. Workman completed the job in a timely manner. He was very professional, polite, and pleasant. I will definitely call them again.

I called the main line at about 9:30 AM and received a worst case time estimate for the afternoon of the same day along with the technician's name that would be doing the work. An hour later (10:30 AM) the technician called to say he was free to do the work immediately. He arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem at a glance. The repair appeared appropriate and was reasonably priced. Shortly after the technician left I noticed a small drip/leak near the toilet valve on the wall. I called his cell phone directly and he returned to my house promptly, fixed the problem, and thanked me for calling him back. Anyone can make an oversight. I appreciate the responsiveness and dedication to getting the job done to my satisfaction.

He replaced a part on the water heater. He also advised me on removing stains from a sink, which I thought I would have to replace, and stains on the bathtub. His recommendations saved me a lot of money because the stains came off.

These guys were awesome. We had been having a problem with periodic backups in our kitchen and laundry sinks. When they came to install the gas line (their price was $400 less than quoted by another plumbing company) I asked them about this issue (which the other plumber had not diagnosed correctly and only "fixed" by power jetting the drain, which of course was only a bandaid and not a fix at all.) The drain was corroded and 1/3 of it as totally gone for a length of about 8 -10 feet. They gave us an estimate of $8000 to $10000 depending on what they found when they got into the job. The actual job came to $8500 + taxes less the 10% Angies Discount. They were prompt, very easy to have around, and cleaned up great afterward. The drain is working great now.
