They showed up a day ahead of schedule and they charged me less than the original quote. He worked here for almost two hours but he only charged me for one hour. I would recommend him because he did the job as I had hoped and he worked pretty hard.

They are very timely. They've been out here 3 times. I like the personal. They are personable, knowledgeable and good spirited.

I needed a plumber, and joined Angies List to find one. I liked the reviews on this company and gave them a call. Appointment was set for the following day between 1-3. Jacob called me around 10:45 and said he had a cancellation and could come by in 20 mins if that was ok. He came in, took a quick look and was able to estimate the job right away. He was accurate in his estimate, and had the job done in an hour and a half. He was quick and efficient. No complaints whatsoever. The next day my dad called me to ask which plumber I called. I gladly recommended this company. My dad needed to fix a pipe under a sink and did not have the right tool. Im not sure which repairman went out, but my dad said they had it fixed in 5 minutes and did not even charge them for it. I am so glad I joined Angies List, and so glad I chose this company :)

I called on a Saturday morning, they were at my place maybe 15 minutes later. They looked at the problem and fixed it in maybe 15 minutes. Because it was during the weekend the hourly cost was more. But the job was done. They called the next Monday to ask if I was satisfied.

I was prepared for bad news and for the typical plumbing experience. I was pleasantly surprised when Kenney showed up (on time and with a smile on his face). He took the time to listen to my concerns and what I had observed. He did not find a leak and explained what I would see if there had been a leak. He then assessed the toilet problem and explained what was happening. While he fixed it he was teaching me how to do it myself should the same thing happen in the future. All I can say is WOW! On top of all that I got a discount because I'm a member of Angie's list. It was a terrific first experience and will for sure use Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling in the future. I was able to make an appontment that was convenient for me. I was called a few minutes before the technician arrived. He arrived on time. He did an excellent job, The final invoice was a fair price for the work performed. I am very happy.

We have spent over $300 or $400 with them, and we've never gotten things resolved. The work looked like I could have done it myself. They also fixed a mistake another guy had made that resulted in a leaking swamp cooler. They had to come back a couple times to get things straight. When they come back, they keep charging me. I asked for an estimate for an air conditioner. The guy said it would be $6,000. Later, he came back and said it was $10,000. He had lead me to believe it was cheaper than it really was. We have a yearly contract with them to close up the swamp coolers. Some of their work looks a little unprofessional. I was disappointed. They caused a leak that was left for two weeks. I think that's totally inexcusable. He replaced a faucet and took the old broken one with him. I wanted to keep the faucet because I didn't think it was totally damaged. I don't know what to believe with him.

Extremely well. Kenny is a polite, competent young man who arrived on time, did a good evaluation of the problem and told us he would try the cheaper method of "blowing back" into the line, but that it might not work to clear the grit. Otherwise he would have to go in through the wall and replace the whole line. Scheduled to come back a few days later with additional help. When he returned, he and helper were able to clear the line, but had to replace the cartridge. At that point, we decided to install the whole house filter and the extra valve on the hot water heater. Made an appointment and he showed up a promptly. Always phoned when he was on his way over. The install took quite a while but the work is great! Showed us how to use it and the new valve. I want to adopt Kenny!!

Jacob called (within the agreed-upon time frame) to let us know he was on his way; showed up a few minutes later. Didn't have the type of faucet bib we needed (because of failure of communication from me to the company's scheduler to Jacob), so went to get the correct faucet; back in about 20 minutes. (We needed a bib with a "cutout" to supply water to an evaporative cooler hose; too early in the season to routinely carry that on the truck.) Getting the old faucet bibs off was tricky because of 40+ years of mineral deposit accumulation (which is why I didn't try to do the replacement myself), but with the help of a butane torch, Jacob got them off (after having turned off the water supply to the house). Put the new bibs on, turned the water back on, checked them for leaks. Whole job took less than 40 minutes. (Less than an hour if you count the time it took to get the right parts; not sure if that was counted as part of labor time, since the minimum charge is an hour of labor.) Jacob was friendly, efficient, and tolerant of my looking over his shoulder. The labor charge was about $20/hr less than other Angies-List plumbers we checked out. Overall, as pleasant an experience as one can reasonably expect when shelling out money for a repair.

On Sunday night our kitchen sink began to show signs of a clog. After a trip to Lowes for drain-o and an evening spent attempting to unclog it, we decided to seek a plumber on Monday morning. At the time we knew that the kitchen sink and the coffee bar sink, which are back to back with a wall between them, were not draining but all the other drains seemed fine. Having no idea of who to call we came to Angie's List and after reading reports on several businesses decided on this one. My initial call to the business was handled very professionally and I was able to schedule an appointment with a plumber, Tim, between 10am and noon. Tim called at 10:15 asking for directions and was at my house by 10:30. He worked on the problem, which ended up being a bit more complicated than I realized, for 2 hours and then had to leave as his truck did not have the specific tool he needed. After talking with me about my schedule for the rest of that day, and the beginning of the next, he promised a call by himself or one of the receptionists by the middle of the afternoon. I got a call just a few hours later stating scheduling the return appointment for 10:00 the next day (Tuesday). At 9:30am I was surprised, in a good way, to have Tim arrive ready to work on the problem. The problem had changed as there were other drains effected which were noticed during the evening and morning. After explaining the changes to him, Tim changed his plan of attack and got right to work. In less than one hour our drains were clear and the sinks were empty. The price was incredibly reasonable and Tim was always professional, polite and more then willing to do what ever it took to get us functioning. I would recommend this company, and this plumber in particular, to anyone needing a reliable, honest and hardworking professional.

Receptionist very pleasant to work with. My early call permitted scheduling for same day service. Plumbers arrived within the allotted time. Part of the work required going under the house in the crawl space - a very nasty & tight area. All work was completed efficiently and correctly. The two plumbers split the work tasks instead of both working on the same task so as to minimize their time charge. They were great to have work at my house. I will use them again.

They seemed to have some knowledge in fireplaces. We had some problems with it, and they are trying to fix it. At first, they didn't fix it correctly, but they have come back. He is focused on getting the job done right. They clearly care for the customer. He was concerned about fixing the problem.

I got them off of Angie's List. It went fine. They did a good job and were professional. They showed up when they said they would. They fixed the steamer, so we're happy. They got back to us quickly when we called. They seemed interested in doing a very good job for us. They were very professional. The people who came out were professional. We didn't have to be afraid of them. I would definitely use them again.

The company sent two highly professional, experienced, friendly and neat technicians, Ken and Ray. They worked quickly, carefully and neatly to remove our old water heater and install a new one, explaining what they were doing and why. They were punctual and made a careful check to see that everything was functioning when they were done. They left the work area neater than they found it, even wiping up the water drips on our basement steps. We then had a problem with our water meter, which it turned out had nothing to do with ABQ Plumbing, whereby we had no running water in our kitchen. We called to ask about it and the very next morning Ken came to check it out. Everything is working beautifully now. Water pressure is better than before and the hot water supply lasts significantly longer with the new heater. We will definitely use this company again and again and recommend it to our friends and neighbors.

ABQ Plumbing and Heating got started on the job right away and finished quicker than anticipated. ABQ Plumbing and Heating sent Kenny to work on our house who was an absolute pleasure to work with - he was professional, kind and very informative.

I selected this firm from Angies List. Receptionist was very helpful and understood my request for quick service. I had a frozen pipe and needed to have the leak repaired quickly. The Plumbers arrive early the following morning(RIGHT on Schedule). The specialists quickly, and properly, completed the job. A real pleasure to deal with high quality PROFESSIONALS. Sewage was backing up into house. Called provider on Wednesday and was told they would be there Thursday. Our area was in the midst of a sub-zero streak of weather so I am aware there were multiple calls for broken water pipes, etc. We use this provider for our 4 rentals as well as 2 personal residences so are not first time customers and have always been pleased with their service. Tenant called on Saturday morning stating no one had been there to perform the necessary services. When contacted the provider stated we had been added to a list for "next week". This was unacceptable as sewage was backing up into the house. I found a handyman that I use for yard work etc. and had him meet me at the house and rented a commercial snake and in about 15 minutes he had completed the clean out. Coming from an area of the country where natural disasters are not uncommon I was dismayed that once again I was seeing a business set a regular customer aside to handle calls from new customers. I try to always use licensed providers for these services even if it means I have to pay weekend rates or night rates. To be summarily added to a list when I have tenants and their children being exposed to a health risk, after being told because we were existing customers we would not is frustrating and demonstrates a lack of professionalism on the part of the provider.

low heat - tenant reported cool temps from registers; tenant also told tech that had seen ice on pipe from A/C unit (he said this would indicate low refrigerant); tech found A/C running at same time as heat [not sure if it was bad thermostat or A/C unit itself.
