Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling

My old water started gushing water at 9 pm on a Thursday evening, I got on to Angie's list at 8 am and Albuquerque Plumbing was at my door by 8:45!!! Installed a 40 Gallon Gas Water Heater, removed a 66 Gallon solar water heater, removed a water softener, & a 40 Gallon water heater. Installed all the flex and caps. Start to finish the job took 4-5 hours this includes time to run back and forth to parts house do an estimate down the street and drain my very old water heater that wasn't helping matters at all. Shane was my technician and he did a fabulous job!! I have some other plumbing woes that need attention and Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling will be the company to do it for us. Thank you so much!

They arrive when they say they’ll arrive and their prices are right. The plumbers they’ve sent out have been courteous and responsive. We’ve used them several times and we’ll keep using them. We won’t get anyone else.

I called at 6:45am Gabe was on call, told me they would have someone out to my house 12pm-1pm. Called back at 8am told me he was on his way. Turns out the AC just needed to be recharged (11yrs old) and that they needed to put vals on that had never been put on to begin with. Gabe called me at work to keep me informed of the work being done and my adult daughter supervised. He was done by 9:15am and I appreciate him coming out right away. I have another daughter that is autistic and I needed this fixed right away. Between a friend letting me know about them and Angies List it made me feel better to call them.

My air conditioning unit was not cooling the house. The outside high was running ~90 and coolest the house was ~82. The unit was running through out the night when the outside temperature was ~65. I called ABQ Plumbing, Heating & Cooling to schedule a service call. The scheduler was able to get a tech out the follow week. I called on a Friday. The day before the appointment ABQ Plumbing call to verify the time was still good. The appointment was two hour window. The tech called a hour within the window to let us know he was running late and would be there within the hour. The tech, Gabe, quickly evaluated the air conditioning unit which was low on fluid and frozen up. He stated the unit need to defrose and in lien of clocking the time waiting, he went to another job and returned in about an hour to complete the service. He also spent the time to educate me on the type of filter to use, the opening and closing of vents (impact on the units ability to operate efficiently, and if the fluids leak out again the next steps. Gabe, was very patient and spent the time needed to answer my continuious questions.

The serviceman was very courteous and efficient. He put shoe covers over his boots before coming into the house. I had been trying to get my problem fixed for several days. He was able to resolve all of my problems in less than an hour. He also check for other potential problems before he left. He cleaned up after the job and left my kitchen in very good condition. Company called the day before to confirm appt. Cameron showed up right on time. Serviced the unit, and since this was a new home purchase, he explained its operation to me. He worked efficiently and did a great job. Since i wanted newer thermostats installed, the company called to schedule another appointment, Cameron came out then the second time and completed the work..again very punctual, professional, and efficient. Great service, great attitude. I recommend them highly and will definitely use them again.

They fixed the leak under the kitchen sink.

It was uneventful. Tim did a great job. I was sorry to hear he was no longer with the company because he did a great job!

I used them because of Angie's List and the project went very well. We conducted the transaction by phone and internet. Highly reliable.

They came out pushed the reset button and cleaned the coils of cotton wood cotton .And all was well .

Same day service. My air conditioner was not working. Debbie scheduled me for the next day, but called back 10 minutes later with an appointment for the same day. Within about 2 hours the work was done.

Call for an appointment and got taken care the next day. Jacob and his helper got my clogged drain and leaking sink fixed in less than 30 minutes. The were very courteous and offered to put on boot covers before they came into my house. If you need a dependable plumber these folks are one of the top companies in Albuquerque to use.

The serviceman (Alex Garcia) was very friendly and professional. Wore "booties" in the house to be certain not track anything in. Checked the entire system for efficiency and proper operation, inside and out. Even gave me a tip for preventing my AC unit from being clogged by the droppings from the cottonwood trees in my backyard. (The tip worked beautifully.)

While this was a very simple problem it required a special tool that I did not have. The plumber arrived when promised, had the tool needed and the parts required to fix the leak.

Albuquerque Plumbing responded on time and replaced the toilet float assembly, which fixed the problem with the toilet.He then greased the gaskets in the shower valve assembly which seemed to resolve the leaking problem. Finally he draining the kitchen sink clean-out, which seemed to fix the problem, but within a few days the sink was hopelessly clogged and unusable. I called Albuquerque Plumbing and told them the kitchen sink was completely clogged and the shower was leaking again. The owner came out within an hour and replaced the the necessary parts in the shower valve, which fixed the leaking problem completely.He then spent well over two hours trying to unclog the kitchen sink. He replaced the aging metal piping under the sink with PVC piping, then worked ceaselessly to find and remove the clog. He spent close to two hours, possibly longer, using a Power Vee to navigate through sewer pipes that had a couple of 90 degree angles and was finally able to push the clog through the to the main sewer system. I can't say phrase Albuquerque Plumbing for the service they extended to to resolve my problems.

I purchased the faucets myself and they did the labor to install. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. He understood what we wanted and went to work right away. He had to come back because we have a manufactured home, so he had to come back and replace the fittings because one was leaking. He also gave us an estimate for a water heater. Great company.

Glen completed our service. He was very professional, was on time, and recommended things based on facts and what was best for our house, not necessarily what would make them more money. All the work was completed quickly, with no mess and we are very happy. I am not thrilled with the hot water circulation pump as we have a very small house and it has been a challenge getting it adjusted properly but that has nothing to do with the install or this company.

We found them on Angies's list. They came and did some work here. We were very pleased with them. We signed an agreement with them to take care of our cooling system. We got an Angie's List discount from them. We were very pleased with the pricing. Their service and professionalism was excellent, and they were also timely. We are using them in the future, because we have a contract with them.

Great! He spent about an hour and 15 minutes, kept me abreast of what he was doing and told me the items he fixed/adjusted. He also charged me only the cost for the descaler with no markup (I was not aware that I needed a new one and had not purchased it ahead of time). He was friendly, knowledgeable and by far the best service person I've had for my evaporative cooler in 20 years. After my horrible experience last year, I very much appreciated this great service.

He made the structural changes in the flew that needed to be made. He did it at no cost. Instead of pulling out the old furnace and saying that he needed to do it and charge for it, he did made the changes needed. He also replaced the hot water heater. He did the plumbing necessary for that installation. He replaced the valves as well. He did it for the price that he bid. He did not increase the price. I knew there were changed, but he did them as necessary. I would recommend him to others. He and all of his workers took their boots off at the door, and made sure not to track anything into the house. I did not have to have some one come in and clean up after them. All of the old parts and everything that was discharged, they took with them. They cleaned everything up. I did not have to go around and pick up anything. There was a time or two when it wasn't convenient to take their boots off, so they vacuumed up any mess that they made. They were unbelievable. It's always nice when you hire some one like that, that you end up friends.

Overall a great experience with this plumber.
