Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling

I went out in the morning to find water coming out of the box where the water meter is at the street. I called the city and they came out and confirmed that their equipment was good. The leak was between the meter and the house. I was responsible for the repair. I checked Angies list and found Albuquerque Plumbing so I gave them a call. The receptionist said that they were all busy but she may have a tech who could help us. Within half an hour she called back to say a tech was on his way. Within another half hour he was here. I had already removed a 1 by 2 ft section of the sidewalk and was starting to dig down to the pipe when he showed up. He finished digging down to the pipe and had the leak pin pointed in a short time. He had to go get some parts for the repair but he was not gone long. He came back and had us back in business with water to the house quickly. The whole ordeal from start to finish took just over 3 hours. I was thinking it would take much longer and be costlier. It's good to know this company is here to help when needed. The tech they sent out was polite and professional, and the receptionist that set everything up was the same. We bought our house 3years ago and knew the heater (1970's) would need to be replaced. We wanted a locally owned and operated business that took pride in their product, the service they provided and enjoyed their job. We found just that. From the quote of a new heater (and this summer a new AC unit) to the drop clothes used on our wood floors and the handknit scarf one employee was wearing...this company was great. Even the lovely lady in the office was all she needed to be. Our new heater is a high efficiency beauty!! Gas bill is lower, electrical bill is lower and the house never warmer!! Oh...the guys even sat down and enjoyed a pot of coffee with my husband and I while we all discussed how the day would go and then what our plans for the night were.

I was contacted via phone by the Service Technician, Alex, who said that he was on his way to our home. Alex arrived with his box of tools and monitoring equipment and immediatiately went to work checking the operation, effeciency, and safety of the 14 year old furnace and related control devices.. I watched as Alex performed the work and he explained to me what he was doing. I was told that furnace was working in excellent condition. Alex also checked the operating performance of our gas fireplace. Work was completed in less that one hour, invoice was received, payment via check and Alex was on his way to next customer.

I called in the morning, and although they were fully booked I was put on "stand-by." This was after several nights of very cold weather, so plumbing businesses were very busy, but I was assured that someone would arrive to fix it by the end of day. The plumber called past 4 o'clock and said he was on his way but was coming from clear across town. He arrived about 4:30, and what we both thought would be an easy repair turned out to be much more than that beause the old hose bib, which was probably original to the house (built in the 50s) was just immovable, even after heating it with a torch. When it finally came off a new piece had to be soldered to the water supply pipe. He worked well past 5 o'clock to finish the job, but was just as polite and cheerful when he left as when he arrived. His name is Anthony. I highly recommend him and this company. I have used them before, and will again whenever I need a plumber.

Total repair and work went very smoothly. Arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous.

They were great. When I called them on Saturday they were within an hour and a half. They had someone on call 24/7. They were polite and friendly.

The schedular was very pleasant and was able to get a techician (Jason Sharrar) over very quickly. The service technician came and unfortunately the heater was working properly as it was an intermittent problem. Jason left but later in the day the heater stopped working :( We called Jason and he returned within an hour. This time he was able to get a LED error code and found that the centrifugal switch was bad. He went to get the part and installed it as soon as he came back. Unfortunately, the circuit board was also going bad but it was not dead worked intermittently so we chose not to replace at that time. Well about a month later it finally died. They were able to schedule us early the next day and now the furnace is working great. Jason Sharrar was an excellent service technician and was very knowledgable about the furnace. He has great troubleshooting skills. He is also very professional and is very friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Jason Sharrar and the Alb Plumbing Heating and cooling.up again.

Excellent. They started Tuesday January 29 and I had water by COB Thursday January 31 (like Efrain said we would). The job was completely finished by Saturday Feb 2 with the hole filled in, everything cleaned up and all concrete work professionally completed. I am very pleased!

We called this company to fix our relatively new, high efficiency furnace (purchased and installed by another company) that was not performing well and was making horrible noises. From the initial call to the final inspection every thing and everyone were wonderful. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable, they came in, evaluated the problem and got the job done. We especially appreciated how quickly they were able to respond. The initial cost and time estimates were right on point.

Ray would always be the same individual that came out. He was always very pleasant and caring. The office staff knew me by name and were always professional.

John came over to put in our new kitchen faucet and sink. He paid a lot of attention to detail and it all looks and works great! We have been customers of Albuquerque Plumbing for a few years now, and are always very happy with their work.

By far the least amount I have ever paid to winterize 3 coolers and get two heaters ready for winter! I would recommend this company to anyone.

The custoner service person was very helpful and professional in scheduling the work to be done. Ray could come early and this was very convenient for me. He found a problem with one of the shut-off valve fittings as this is an older house, so had to make a trip to a supplier for the right fitting. He was very careful and very concerned that the job was done right. Installinbg a new p-pipe was a great plus as the old one was galvinized pipe prone to leaks. Now I have a beautiful new faucet, inside the cabinet looks sleek and clean, and now I know I can close or open the shut-off valves when I need to.

After calling and scheduling and appointment, the service man came (right on time) and started to investigate what the problem was. It took several trials to find out what was wrong, but he was finally able to solve it. During this period of time, he always made sure that he would explain what he was trying and what to expect.

Furnace died. Landlord did not respond. Called Albuquerque Heating & Plumbing and the technician was here within the hour on a cold night, 8 degrees. W He solved the problem and even followed up the next day with an email with the costs of parts needed for future repairs.

The main water line to our house broke. I needed someone to fix it fast. I had a sick wife and a house full of kids. They didn't have any open plumbers, but the field manager was able to come over and make the repair. I did all the digging, but they were able to get over for the repair, which only took about 20 min. The cost was a bit expensive for the amount of time, but I was glad to get it fixed.

I had noticed water noise and poor performance in our hot-water baseboard heaters. Then on a Saturday, the water pump stopped working altogether, and the house began to get quite cold. They came promptly and found a temporary replacement pump to install, since supply shops were closed. The heat came back! They returned the following Friday, and installed the new pump. They repaired the valve that was keeping the air from bleeding off. They also noticed and corrected two long-standing safety issues that previous furnace repairmen had failed to see: a pressure relief valve and an aging expansion tank. Going under the house to shut off the water, they discovered and repaired a water leak that must have been running for several days. I found them polite, professional, knowledgeable, punctual and true to their word. The price seems in line with other plumbers, given the hours and parts. I've used other good plumbers in Albuquerque, but they were the best.

They are professional, prompt, and they clean up their mess.

My heater stopped working on the very cold morning of 1/16/2013. I called several heating/AC contractors. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling was the only one who could send a technician the same day. Gabe was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. He was unable to get the parts he needed that day, but returned the next day and had the heater repaired within half an hour.

I called to have a home thermostat changed and get a quote on a house water filtration system installed. The tech arrived on time as scheduled. He was very curtious and used shoe coverings to keep dirt off the floor nice touch. We spoke about possible choices and decided to use his model since it was a better model than the home depot one I would have installed. His work was clean and precise and he told me of other offerings for my furnace in the future for clean air filtration and tips on the swamp cooler. The quote was very reasonable for the water softner and maybe will do work in future.

Based on the Angie?s List reviews, we called Albuquerque Plumbing; the lady that handled the appointment was very polite. The fellow who did the work, Efrain, was personable, efficient and fast. He took one look at our faucet and said it would be a piece of cake to replace. He didn?t make a big project out of it and, incredibly, was done in about a half hour (no mess either). We are very pleased and would definitely use them again.
