 + -1 moreBrian Darbee provided expert cabinet making skills, timely completion, courteous service, with thorough clean-up. He was always accessible, interested in giving the best effort, and creative with any problem-solving needed. The only problem was an outside vendor could not make the six glass shelves to the proper dimensions for the new cabinet in a timely manner, but this is the only element over which Brian had no control. The cabinet remodel was coordinated well with the requirements for other parts of the the kitchen re-do, which meant working seamlessly within other skills' time tables (counter-top installation, tile laying, appliance replacement, electrician and plumbing). People who know before and after appearance of the kitchen have uniformly praised the cabinet additions for his excellent craftsmanship and its contribution to the overall beauty of this remodel.
Description of Work: Kitchen cabinet remodel with matching finish to existing cabinets: Construct and install custom upper cabinet with glass doors and rounded corner shelves; matching cornice Add rounded corner shelves to bottom cabinet Add custom cabinet to island with tray slots and book shelf with electrical outlet provision Add custom panels to reface existing cabinet ends and island Add custom feet and toe panels to all cabinets All additional cabinetry is of superior materials and workmanship compared with originals, yet has the final appearance that the entire features were always in place together.
