Terrible. Had to have all the work removed and the pavers went to waste. Such a waste of money and time. May be good for basic Landscapping (cutting grass) but has zero understanding of how to lay pavers. Working with these guys is a major mistake I hope to forget. So much went wrong.

This man was excellent He Aerated ,and seeded then blew off the sidewalks and driveway leaving my property neat and orderly. I have had this done many times before at a much higher cost and His was by far a much better job.

Mr Grant came here and gave us an estimate within 30 minutes of calling him for the first time. He and his men did a great job. We and our neighbors were impressed with their professionalism and consideration.

The sprinkler system was not correctly installed and never even worked properly. When I brought in another company they were in disbelief with how bad the work was. The sod was not even done right either! He also charged for more sod than I needed and took away the remaining.  He hired an electrician to install the electrical panel but it's obvious a permit was never pulled,  because if the town came to inspect it, it would fail. The wires weren't buried 18", it's still hanging out of the ground, and the electrical box has burnt out. Now nothing is working, my yard is a mess, and this is a living nightmare.

In March 2015, I purchased the house where Mr. Grant and his crew did the work.  It had been vacant for over 2 years and the yard was in really bad shape. Mr. Grant and his crew did an outstanding job. They prepared the flower beds in front of the house on Thursday afternoon and returned on Friday to complete the rest of the work.  Digging up the ground cover was a huge job as the roots were extremely deep. But, they took every bit of it out and hauled it away.  They laid sod down where the ground cover had been.  They also did a great job of trimming and shaping a huge holly tree that had taken over part of the yard.  They cleaned up the back yard and put down red shale (stone).  They put black mulch in the beautifully prepared beds in front of the house.  The entire crew of 5 men  worked all day Friday.  The men were polite, friendly, and very professional.  Mr. Grant was also a pleasure to deal with.  Without question, I will use Grant's Landscaping  again in the future.

The crew showed up on time and there were three workers. I had purchased 8 hours of work through a coupon on Angie's list, this would mean 3 guys should all work for 2 hrs and 40 minutes. They started at 9 a.m. and began using their chain saw to cut down some of the bushes. After about an hour, they let me know that they needed a new chain saw and that they were all going to Home Depot to purchase a new one. I asked if two couldn't stay behind and do some work, the foreman then did leave one worker who spent about 10 minutes doing some trimming and then sat and waited for the others to return. The other two were gone for 45 minutes. At 11:30 they let me know the 8 hours were up and that in fact he had given me an extra half hour of work. I am not sure how his math works. Additionally, most of the time only two people were working at a time. Rain was forecast and asked before they started if they would rather reschedule -- they did not want to do that. They did remove all of the bushes and finished in the pouring rain. They did not really clean up the area at all and I did not get 8 hours of work. Still,  they did accomplish a good bit and the price was right.

I am more than pleased with the workmanship of the Grant's Landscaping and Masonry Company. Dwayne, the owner, is a man of his word and not only did the job professionally with his men, but also power washed my patio as a kind favor to me. Dwayne, AJ, and George were very conscientious in doing the job well and checked with me often to be sure that I was always pleased with each step of the way. Their work ethic is outstanding and their friendly and kind manner is a topper as well. I would highly recommend this company to my family and my friends and I give them an A rating in all areas of their accomplishments. Angie, thank you for this outstanding company.

Although an initial appointment was missed, one of the owner's, Dwayne wanted to make sure I was happy with their service, and sent four to five workers to my home for over five hours. As a result, they did much more than the contract was for at no additional cost.  I was very happy with the completed work. I am considering hiring them to plant some bushes and put down mulch in beds

Wayne and his crew arrived bright and early and got to work right away.  They did a beautiful job and were very professional and responsive to my requests.  When I did a walk through at the end, I noticed a couple of small things we had discussed that were missed in all the work and they took care of them right away.  I am very pleased with the results and have already told them I have another project that I'll be calling them for next month.

There were four people at my house including himself and only 2 of them primarily were working. Not everyone was working. They didnt arrive on time. They arrived at 6:30pm. I am still waiting for the remaining time. They left work unfinished and never came back like they had agreed.

Update 6/2:

As follow-up, I've attached photos of the  work that Grant's Landscaping left incomplete. Mr. Grant arrived 2.5 hours late and started my lawn at 6:30pm May 5th and left at 8:00pm. There were 4 workers including himself - 2 workers did bulk of work. The other 2 remained close to the truck. The deal offered 1 man/8 hrs or 2 men/ 4 hrs. By my calculation Mr. Grant owes 2.5 hours of 2-man labor.

Pics 1 & 2 show a bed that Mr. Grant stated he would address by "scalping", when he came over to evaluate the job. I informed him the rock mulch was to be moved 1 to 2 feet from the foundation and raked-up out of the grass, to create a border on each side. Mr. Grant agreed it would not be a problem. Once he came over to start the work, he raked a bit and never went back to it.

Pictures 3 & 4show the opposite side of the property where I asked for a bed to be created. Mr. Grant cut-out the area, but never removed the top soil. He treated it with a weed killer and advised me that it would kill everything, including grass.

I was not satisfied with this bed- grass and weeds continued to grow. I contacted Mr. Grant via text messaging and he agreed to return May 14th to complete the work mentioned above and never returned. I have attached a copy of my text conversation with Mr. Grant evidencing his agreement to return.

"Customer did not understand that the deal was for 1 guy for 8 hr and 2 guys for 4 , i called the customer to let her know who were running lat and that we sent someone ahead to start the job for us being later we gave customer free mulch , put down ground cloth and preen beds, customer had a rock be she was trying to clean and had the rocks all over i told her it had to be scalped to get all rocks up. The bed on the side she wanted weed wacked down we did it then she wanted an edge cut on it at the end before i treated it i asked her more than once if it was good and she siad yes so we cut the grass and did a fee other things for her. Update 6/8/15: Customer got package for a guy for 8 hr and 2 for 4 but we had 4 guys one worker and all 3 owners, we had an appointment but my son got and I had take him to hospital so i came Sunday morning, she wanted the job done as is so i told her we were booked up so we tryed to work with her so i gave her a 5 in evening on the day of the job i tryed to let her know we were running late and we sent one of the owners ahead and she stop the job"

Dwayne and his crew spent hours on my front yard cutting in beds and laying mulch. I purchased a deal from Angie's List for 750 sf of mulch and spreading. They went above and beyond what I expected. They were also polite and professional. I highly recommend Grant's. I will use them in the future.
