I am more than pleased with the workmanship of the Grant's Landscaping and Masonry Company. Dwayne, the owner, is a man of his word and not only did the job professionally with his men, but also power washed my patio as a kind favor to me. Dwayne, AJ, and George were very conscientious in doing the job well and checked with me often to be sure that I was always pleased with each step of the way. Their work ethic is outstanding and their friendly and kind manner is a topper as well. I would highly recommend this company to my family and my friends and I give them an A rating in all areas of their accomplishments. Angie, thank you for this outstanding company.
"We gave customer 4.5 hrs with 3 guys in the rain cut down everything she should us that need to be removed from pool customer did not want to pay for additional time even when we gave her more time the package if for 1 guy 8 hr and 2 for 4 we had 3 guys on the job"
Update 6/2:
As follow-up, I've attached photos of the work that Grant's Landscaping left incomplete. Mr. Grant arrived 2.5 hours late and started my lawn at 6:30pm May 5th and left at 8:00pm. There were 4 workers including himself - 2 workers did bulk of work. The other 2 remained close to the truck. The deal offered 1 man/8 hrs or 2 men/ 4 hrs. By my calculation Mr. Grant owes 2.5 hours of 2-man labor.
Pics 1 & 2 show a bed that Mr. Grant stated he would address by "scalping", when he came over to evaluate the job. I informed him the rock mulch was to be moved 1 to 2 feet from the foundation and raked-up out of the grass, to create a border on each side. Mr. Grant agreed it would not be a problem. Once he came over to start the work, he raked a bit and never went back to it.
Pictures 3 & 4show the opposite side of the property where I asked for a bed to be created. Mr. Grant cut-out the area, but never removed the top soil. He treated it with a weed killer and advised me that it would kill everything, including grass.
I was not satisfied with this bed- grass and weeds continued to grow. I contacted Mr. Grant via text messaging and he agreed to return May 14th to complete the work mentioned above and never returned. I have attached a copy of my text conversation with Mr. Grant evidencing his agreement to return.
"Customer did not understand that the deal was for 1 guy for 8 hr and 2 guys for 4 , i called the customer to let her know who were running lat and that we sent someone ahead to start the job for us being later we gave customer free mulch , put down ground cloth and preen beds, customer had a rock be she was trying to clean and had the rocks all over i told her it had to be scalped to get all rocks up. The bed on the side she wanted weed wacked down we did it then she wanted an edge cut on it at the end before i treated it i asked her more than once if it was good and she siad yes so we cut the grass and did a fee other things for her. Update 6/8/15: Customer got package for a guy for 8 hr and 2 for 4 but we had 4 guys one worker and all 3 owners, we had an appointment but my son got and I had take him to hospital so i came Sunday morning, she wanted the job done as is so i told her we were booked up so we tryed to work with her so i gave her a 5 in evening on the day of the job i tryed to let her know we were running late and we sent one of the owners ahead and she stop the job"
