Tino’s LCD-DLP-LED-PLASMA TV Repair Specialist

i received an introductort email from the service provider within 20 minutes. I called and they asked several questions regarding the issue True to their word they came and kept me posted as to their current location and ETA. They were fully prepared and equipped with the part and fixed it immediately. They knew exactly what was wrong with it. Also gave me things to look for and what to do should I notice certain things happening. I would reccomend them to anyone who asks for reference.

Returned calls when contacted, showed up when he was supposed to. Let me know the status of the repair. Was very responsive and definitely knows what he is doing.

Overall, an EXCELLENT experience with Tino's, who get an A+ for customer service. Would definitely use again. Included in the price (which while not inexpensive, was reasonable, I thought, given expensive parts involved) was their pick-up and drop-off service at my house - a HUGE convenience for a 50" DLP. I did have to ding them one grade on quality, b/c after the first attempt at fixing, there was a quality control issue that they missed: when the TV came back, it was "fixed", but it made a really loud noise (like a dustbuster level sound) when it was on. But VERY importantly, they immediately made good, took the TV back (even offered me a loaner while the TV was gone), and fixed that issue, and now, a week later, the TV is as good as new! So in a way, they deserve a lot of credit for that -- I'm sure there's plenty of places out there that would have been a real pain about re-fixing it, and they didn't give me any problem whatsoever, which was very appreciated. This was a 9 year old DLP -- which for anyone who has one, they know it's a good TV, but has some moving parts inside (the "color wheel") which will inevitably break some day due to wear, and needs to be replaced. So it was great that they had the parts, and were able to do it rapidly. Also, they were excellent communicators about when they were coming, providing updates via text and phone. Would definitely use Tino's again (hopefully won't have to for a long time though!)

The provider was extremely professional and responsive. They came to pick up the TV the day we called and then notified us that night that they needed to order a specific part and how much it would cost. In addition, after the TV was returned, about two days later we noticed a problem with the color on the TV. We fiddled with the settings and checked the wires in the back of the TV, but figured there was something wrong because of the repair. We called and they came out again to check on the problem. They were even prepared to give us a smaller TV if they had to bring this one back again. Turns out a wire in the back of the cable box was loose (never checked that because we never removed those wires). Felt horrible he had to come out, but he didn't mind. Awesome service.

Service provider picked up the TV and called back with a status update within a week. The repair required obtaining a video part directly from Sony which was not easily done due to limited supply. We did not receive our TV back for almost another 3 months, when the service provider was able to obtain the necessary part and finish the work. Overall, customer service was attentive and friendly and it was Sony that delayed getting our TV back sooner.

They picked up my television and brought it back in a timely manner and did the repairs. The price was reasonable.

Tino & Jon arrived to deal with my problem within 24 hours of my call. And they quickly demonstrated why they are so highly praised by Angie's list users. The are the real deal!! Tino quickly determined the problem and patiently went through te steps with me that were necessary to reset the TV input (apparently someone had "played " with the remotes and disconnected the TV from our cable service) so I could handle the situation next time without help. I had been getting ready to simply buy another TV but was encouraged to try a "repair" shop first...went on Angies List and bumped into Tino's. The charge was simply that price quoted to come all this way to evaluate the problem & possibly pick up to fix "in shop" (80+tax). That's right...no charge for the diagnosis, restoration, and special lessons. This was the perfect set-up to take advantage, and these two gentlemen (for they are that) kept it all so pleasant--a true demonstration of honesty & competence. There is no doubt that we'd use them again...anytime!

I'm very satisfied with Tino's. They are A+ in my book. Hopefully, I will never need them again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to do refer their services to friends or do business with them again.

My plasma TV stopped working and I thought I just had to get another but for $25. they gave me an estimate which they then deducted from the price of the repair. I brought the TV to them so I can't speak to delivery service though it was only another $25. for them to pick up. I would use them again and recommend them.

John replied to my email within a couple hours (on a Saturday night), and he and Tino arrived on Monday afternoon with the correct parts and repaired our Samsung plasma at home as promised.

All the details are above. Cannot praise the service and repair too strongly. I would use Tino's again in a heartbeat and enthusistically recommend them to all. John was incredibly prompt and competent and pleasant. They give great value for what they do.

Found them on Angie"s List yesterday. Filled out a service form to describe the TV in need of repair and make / model number. John called back in two hours to discuss the matter. I was not even sure if they would come to Westchester County NY since they are located at least an hour away in New Jersey. John told me they service my area and we set up an appointment that worked for me the following afternoon. He was courteous and professional and called along the way so I would not have to hang around and waste my day like many other service providers make you do. Even on a snowy day where schools were cancelled in my area, both Tino and John showed up right on time! They found the problem in about 15 minutes and fixed the problem in my house. They are reliable and honest and I will call them for all future TV repair work that might be needed. The TV they repaired was an old school SONY Trinitron model KV36FV15 which was not powering up. It works as good as new now. Absolute pleasure to work with!

I have a 10 year old Sony Trinitron TV (model KV-40XBR700) and the picture went out. I would get sound and transmission but no picture. Sometimes, I could get a picture if I cut it off and on over and over, but after a while, no picture at all. After another repair person failed to fix my TV (not from Angie's List), I went on Angie's List and found Tino's Repair in New Jersey. They have a website and I filled out the information about my TV. In a couple of hours, on the SAME DAY, Jon called to talk about my TV. He knew EXACTLY what was wrong with it and he would be able to fix it. He was straight forward with the price- $300 including parts, labor and travel (I'm in NYC; he's in New Jersey) and a 6-month warranty on their work. I made arrangements for them to come on Thursday, 11/21/13. He said they would be there between 2pm-2:30pm. They were right on time! Tino and Jon came right in and went straight to work. Within an hour, my TV was working great, no problems. They even cleaned it up (the dust was 6 inches thick!). Tino and Jon were very professional, courteous and glad to explain everything they did and why they did it. I thought it was a very fair price, considering the job was labor-intense. It is so difficult to find good TV repair people these days. I'm very happy to have found Tino's Repair on Angie's List and gladly give them an A+. I highly recommend them for all your TV repair needs.

Very satisfied. TV went down on weekend. I called Mon morning, and they picked it up Mon afternoon. Diagnosed Tues, part in on Wed, delivered back Thurs. The kept track of all connecting cables and reattached all in proper order.

He was very nice, and even came down on his pricing. Very knowledgeable on the topic. I would use him if I ever had a problem in the future.

They arranged a service date 3 days after my call because they were waiting for a part to come in. They put me on the schedule the same day as the part came in. They gave me a time frame for arrival and came in the time frame all the way from New Jersey to Long Island. They immediately turned on the TV and confirmed the diagnosis they had made over the phone. They were very fast and neat in the repair and the price was fair including parts, labor and service call fee. They took Visa or Mastercard. The television now works perfectly. I was extremely satisfied with the service and was very glad that I checked Angie's list before arranging the service. They deserve an A+ rating!

Contacted this company on 8/23/2013 and explained TV died. The tech said he happened to be coming in the vicinity of my residence and would pick up TV that night for evaluation. I received a call from tech a couple of days later who gave a detailed description of the problem, explained part had to be ordered and cost of repair. I approved the repair and was contacted 8/29/ 2013 to be told my TV was repaired which they returned that evening. I find this company to be reliable, professional, responsive, trustworthy and fair. The cost of repair included evaluation, pick-up transportation, parts and labor.

Call to get directions before you go. It is hard to find if you don't know where it is.

When our Panasonic Plasma HD TV stopped working we began searching for a TV repair company. We first contacted Panasonic, and were told that their nearest service area was Colonia.NJ Since we lived an hour away we did not wish to go that far. We searched Angies List and found Tino's which was much closer. I was surprised to find a company with an all A rating.! That is very unusual in our experiences. This rating turned out to be justly earned by the company. They came out the same day,promptly picked up the TV,repaired it,and returned it to us in a week and a half in good working order. They were,courteous,friendly,and professional. We would certainly recommend this company for anyone needing this type of service.

Tino's seems very busy by the amount of TVs I saw in the shop but they did the repair within 4 days which included he evaluation. I wasn't going to have a repair done that would cost as much to replace with a new TV. The repair was much cheaper than I anticipated. Very satisfied.

John was extremely accommodating in terms of time to come and pick up the TV. In addition, they're the only provider I contacted who was willing to unmount the TV from the wall and remount upon return. They came this past Monday evening to disconnect and unmount the TV. After carefully placing it in their van, they brought it back to their shop for analysis. I got a call the next day explaining the issue and what part was needed for the repair, including the cost estimate for the part and labor. Yesterday, I received a follow-up call stating that the repair was already complete and that all the ports were working again! So, we scheduled for them to return last evening. Upon their return, they simply reconnected all the cables and mounted the tv back on the wall. They even helped with trying to level the unit better than the original installers. After powering everything back up, we were happy to see everything was back to normal. My wife couldn't be more pleased with the level of service we received, and we would heartily recommend Tino's to every single person in New Jersey.

They came to the house to pick up our 5 year old Sony LCD the day after I called. Two days later, they called back with the estimate, which was very fair. They delivered back to us two days later. The picture is like new again, for less than half the price of a new one. Good job, Tino's.
