Good value for money, good work but it can be improved. Finish the work asap, despite bad winter weather. Would recommend W B Pavers.

I hired Andre and Tony on 3/28/18. I explained to Tony that I was very particular in the way I wanted things done because I live in a tight neighborhood in Nutley NJ where the water runoff can be a little tricky. Without hesitation he guaranteed I would be happy with the work they did. Between the excellent reviews on Home Advisor and his guarantee I felt comfortable hiring him on the spot. A few hours later Andre showed up with a trailer of heavy duty rollers and compactors, and a crew of 6 guys. They were prepared for anything. Andre was very receptive to my concerns. He was very professional. The crew immediately began grading and compacting my existing stone driveway, and filling in holes wherever necessary. About 3 hours later the driveway was complete. They put down a thick, well compacted, and properly pitched layer of asphalt. I was very impressed. Most importantly, I have a beautiful driveway that I know will last. Thx W B Paving, its good to know there are some honest hard working people out there.

Andre, Tony and their crew brought their “A” game! My yard was a complete muddy mess! So I hired WB Paving to do 1200 of square feet paved with asphalt and it looks great! My husband and I are so pleased with the job WB completed in just one day. They were very professional, provided us with some advice, and cleaned up after themselves respectively! Excellent work...looking forward to working with them again on future projects! You rock fellas!!!

VERY pleased with the work that W B paving did. The owner was great to deal with and his crew worked hard to get the job done. WOULD definitely hire them and recommend them for your paving needs.

Update as of 8/27/18: WB Paving addressed the issues I've mentioned below as of last Thursday. Andre', who works with Tony, came and supervised the job. At this point, I'm satisfied with the job (although we haven't yet had significant rain and I don't know if the driveway will settle in the same place on the new slip area since the paving is so new). I can't give a 5 rating since I did have to spend time and effort following up with Tony on these issues, but I will rate WB at a 4, since they did a decent job and came back to address issues. Update as of 8/20/18: Tony has promised to address the issues described below by the end of this week. If he does so, I'll keep the ratings as I've completed them today (in the 4 and 5 range, i.e.). Update as of 8/11/18: The job that WB Paving did was extremely deficient in two respects. One is that they created a huge hump next to my garage entrance that has caused repeated flooding of the garage because they did not grade the asphalt away from the garage floor. This is causing damage to the masonry and wood structure of the garage. The second is that there is sinkage and crumbing in the new parking slip area they paved. Tony of WB Paving says he will address these issues by the end of the month (August 2018), but I am doubtful because he has consistently pushed off coming in to address them. I would not use this company as of this writing (8/11/18). Just want to give a shout out about WB Paving. They were courteous, professional, and did a beautiful job enlarging and repaving our driveway. Tony, the owner, is super responsive and easy to work with. They even replaced cracked slate walkway tile (as a result of prepping the site) and had their own custom "Do not drive on" tape to protect the drive until the asphalt hardened. A class act and would definitely recommend them.

I am very satisfied with the paving work they have done. They additionally did the steps. The top stone of the steps came loose and but they came back and fixed it and kept their promise.

The contractor was very responsive and professional, work was done on a timely basis and with high quality.

The project with WB Paving almost didn’t happen because of a family emergency with the business contact. I stayed persistent because the reviews on Home Advisor were really good. I am definitely happy that I did follow up with the guys at WB Paving because they did the job for a good price and the fastest timeline. Most importantly, the finished job looks as I had hoped. Most companies that I spoke to didn’t have the machinery to compress the gravel, meaning I’d have to wait 2-3 weeks for the ground to settle before they would pave. That wouldn’t work much later in the year because asphalt can’t be handled well in winter weather. With WB Paving the job was done in 4 days start to finish. It would have been less time, but it rained a lot one day which delayed work a little more than one day. Finally, the owners only want to get paid when the job is completed and the customer is satisfied. Those are terms of take any day. I’ve had contractors stop coming to work after they get a portion of their money so WB’s payment policy is ideal. I already recommended them to two people in the last two weeks. Thanks WB Paving.

Andre was fantastic. He came when he said he would and got to work on our driveway immediately finishing in just a few days. The work is exceptional and we are very happy with our new driveway

He completed the job and did a good job

The crew was efficient and professional and finished the asphalt install in one day. They cleared all the debis. They also installed drains under the driveway to divert rain from pooling by the garage. They replaced a bluestone slab in the walkway that abuts the driveway. The owner was on site. Excellent job!

They worked the way you expect professionals to work. On time, efficient, no garbage left behind. Great work!

Great experience with this company. They were very professional gave me a great estimate. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. I have a corner lot and the neighbors are already giving me compliments on the job. The crew went above and beyond for the demolition, framing and pouring of the cement sidewalk and walkways. Love the way the final project looks and very happy I went with this team!

The amount of gravel I asked for was not put down, I recommend if you do hire this company watch what they are doing.

I definitely would recommend this company, reasonable, very professional and on time. They did even more than agreed ahead of time. They put asphalt in another area, with my approval. so now I have an extra spot to park a car.

Did a great job very quickly and reasonably priced

Very responsive. They were working fairly close by and came to give the estimate the same day. And since they were close by he said he could come that afternoon to rip up the old driveway and pave the following day. From the estimate around noon one day my driveway was done by 2:00PM the following day! Excellent job!
