The results are outstanding! Jack and his team are very professional, courteous, and on time. They made sure everything was completely covered before prepping/painting began and once painting was completed they did a thorough cleanup. What I thought was at least a 2 day job was completed in 1 which exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate the effort and attention to detail that was given to the rooms. Very Professional I would recommend to friends and family.

We had obtained estimates from 7 different painters and the amounts ranged wildly. Jack's estimate was not the lowest price but he was nowhere near the highest price. We chose to hire him because his experience and commitment to customer service were obvious from the first time we met him. We had many repairs done to the walls before he started but he and his crew found and repaired tons of nail pops and seams that we never even saw. They did an absolutely beautiful job on the repairs and painting. Jack had told us that the job would take about 10 days and they finished late in the afternoon of the 9th day. He was here every day with his crew of Peter and Webb and all three of them were a real pleasure to be around. They were very professional, treated our furniture and belongings with extreme care and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Throughout the process they were all committed to making sure that we were happy with the work they were doing. Having your entire house painted while living in it can be an ordeal but they created a very pleasant atmosphere. And the quality of their work is outstanding! Our house has been beautifully transformed and we are thrilled with the result. In fact, we've already made arrangements for them to come back in the spring to refinish our deck. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Jack and his worker were timely and very professional. They did an excellent job and we look forward to having them back in the Spring to do more work for us. We were very pleased with the workmanship and pricing.

Victor and his team were here on time every day. On day one they removed the wallpaper glue from the entryway, stairway leading upstairs and second floor. They also patched up holes or any problems with the walls. On day two they sanded the walls and painted everything. They were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They also cleaned up after they finished their work. We are very happy with how everything came out and would definitely use them again for future projects.

Victor is very responsive to phone calls and very professional. He is very upfront and honest which is what I really like about him. I would not hesitate to use him or recommend him to anyone else.

Everything went extremely well - Victor was very responsive to all our needs and questions, providing a rough estimate on the spot which turned out to be accurate. The job, as promised, took 3 days, but included alot of preparation of our old plaster walls as well as repairing some sheetrock in our den. Extremely punctual,clean, meticulous and pleasant, we highly recommend Victor and his crew. Everything, including the all trim, got two coats, adding to the professionalism of the job performed. Since our house is 75 years old, not only do we have plaster walls, but the plaster has a rough dimensional pattern on it, meaning not the easier to prepare and paint - but now the walls look updated and fresh!

Jack, the owner, and his crew of three other men were all very diligent, professional, and honest. They estimated it would be 8 days and actually took 10 full days, because Jack is a perfectionist and wanted to make sure it was done right, especially repairing and prepping the walls, which needed more work than expected. And although I expected only 2 coats, for several walls they painted 3 coats until they were satisfied. Jack is considerate and flexible. I had to unexpectedly start a week later than I had originally told Jack, but Jack understood and adjusted his schedule to meet mine. Also, in the middle of the job, Jack recommended a different color than I had originally chosen for one room, which I am glad I changed. Jack is also very communicative: he called me every night to let me know his progress and plans, answered all of my questions, and explained everything clearly. They did every touch-up I requested, no matter how minor, and even came back after I moved in for extra touch-ups, caused by me or other workers. They really want to make sure you are completely satisfied. The paint job looks great, and I am very happy that I chose Touch of the Brush. I will recommend them to friends and plan to use them for exterior painting also. Thank you Jack and Touch of the Brush!

It's true when they state that they are not only painters, they are craftsmen! My husband and I bought a historical home that was built in 1775 and was in dire need of repair work and painting. I had several other companies come to the house to give us estimates. One estimator tried to convince me that there was absolutely no way to get rid of the cracks in the plaster without completely taking down the ceiling and putting up sheetrock. You can imagine my disappointment as this would cost us double, and compromise the integrity of this historical structure. I met the owner Jack from Touch of the Brush, and knew right away that he was our guy! He came into our home and was very confident that he could get our uneven walls (due to the stone it was built with and plaster crumbling over the years,) smooth. He also explained how he would fix the cracks, and assured me that they would NOT in fact come back. Well I can't tell you how amazing our our home looks! They did an incredible job! We are so happy with the work done... and it was hard work! Peter was our go to person on the job and he was very responsive to our questions and needs. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with. They were reasonable in cost compared to others, and were worth every single penny! I could go on and on about these guys, but rest assured that if they could restore our 200+ year old home the way that they did- they can do anything! I entrusted Victor and his Touch of the Brush team to paint the interior of my c. 1780 home (and garage) and couldn't be more happy with my decision to go with Touch of the Brush. From the initial communication with Victor to the myriad of decisions that he presented me with along the way - to the final billing and completion of the job I found Victor to be utterly professional. He is an exceptional communicator - always taking the time to inform me of of the progress of the job and checking in on me to make sure that I was alright with the way things were going. DETAILS: their tricks of the trade really work wonders. Not sure exactly what or how they ended up doing it but whatever they did worked. The house looks emaculate and my dilapidated garage was transformed into a quiet and calm oasis. The quality of the work was exceptional in so many ways. Besides the beauty of painting I was particularly impressed with how reliable, quiet, and CLEAN they were. They took up very limited space and were quiet enough that I was able to sleep in the next room (I am a night shift nurse and need to sleep during the day). They finished the job ahead of schedule and charged what I thought was a very fair price.

Went well. Very professional yet flexible to,our needs. Showed up on time, completed work as scheduled. Trustworthy, family owned business. Good employees as well.

Overall the experience went very well. I had years of old paint from the previous owner on my house's foundation. They scrapped off all the old paint, and painted 2 coats of a different color. They told me it would take a day to complete and they finished around 3pm that same day. I plan to use them again.

Do yourself a favor. If you have a paint job, call Jack. Jack and his team painted over half of our house. I was a pleasure working with Jack and his team, from the initial contact with Jack to the finished job. His team arrived on time every day, worked methodically, and did a truly professional looking job. One of the best parts of using TOB was the prep work they do. These guys fixed every popped nail, every irregularity in the surfaces, every crack. They were meticulous in using lighting to find the irregularities and they fixed every one of them before they started painting. Frankly, they did this beyond my expectations. The job included painting banister spindles in which only the spindles were painted, and not the banister posts or rails (which were stained). This was a delicate job. We even had Jack's team redo the banister rails, which means they sanded, stained and finished the rails. Great job. Everyone on the team was courteous, friendly and efficient. After they arrived, we even found some extra rooms that we decided to add to the job. Importantly, they were neat. They set up an area in the garage for all their equipment and materials. They cleaned up each night. They used proper drop clothes everywhere. They moved furniture around as they needed to and put it back. The price was good. Jack has over 30 years of experience. As I said at the beginning - you have a paint job, do yourself a favor. Call Jack. You won't regret it.

This is the third time I have used Touch Of The Brush. From start to finish the job was great. Victor power washed two decks at our home. They then came back a few days after and stained both decks. Job was done very neat and professional. I couldn't be happier with the finished product! Highly recommend this company!

They responded promptly to my call for and estimate, scheduled out job in a timely manner and finished up when promised. The crew was professional. They show up on time, did excellent work and cleaned up when finished.

We needed a painter following a kitchen/living room/laundry room renovation. We were given two recommendations from family/friends. The first company we consulted was so expensive, not to mention the guy who came to give us an estimate was so full of himself, I was turned off. The other company, I heard mixed things about and cancelled our consultation. I came here to Angie's list because I didn't know where else to go. Based on the great reviews here, I contacted Touch of the Brush. The owner, Jack, came to my house, and I liked him immediately. He gave us a fair estimate (not including the cost of paint) and made me feel confident that his people would do a good job. He turned the job over to his son Victor, and he his crew (Adrian and Jeff) showed up promptly on a Monday morning and got to work.They spent the first day prepping and the next two days painting. They were affable, professional and hard working. They worked a long day and were alone in the house most of the time. It was important to me that I could trust them to do their work and lock up afterwards. The paint job looks terrific. My husband and I are very pleased. My sister was so impressed that she recommended them to a friend of hers. I am planning to (hopefully) do some more work in the near future and will definitely call Victor when it's time to paint.

Victor and his team were punctual and professional. I have never been so satisfied with the way his guys treated us. Victor and his crew (Andy & Jeff) did an amazing job painting a few of our rooms. The team was on-time as scheduled and from start to finish, performed the job in a professional manner in a few hours. Additionally, they were extremely clean while performing the work and afterwards, they cleaned up more than they had to. Victor went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and didn't hesitate to answer questions or offer suggestions that only a true professional would know. The price was more than fair and the quality is outstanding. When we paint the remainder of the house, we already told Victor would we will be giving him a call. The professional, polite, and friendly team from A Touch of the Brush did an extremely thorough job prepping all the surfaces before they painted. They filled in cracks, holes, dings, and dents and sanded them smooth, and even after patching a very large hole in the coat closet and removing the dining room chair rail, the walls appeared seamless. They painted every surface--walls, ceilings, mouldings, trim, and doors--with attention to detail. They worked long days, and while they cared about making progress and completing the work in the timely manner, they took time to make sure each step of the job was done correctly before moving on. They also sanded, stained, and sealed two new stairway railings, which was not anticipated within the original scope of work. Victor was clear and upfront about providing costs estimates, which was really helpful. The job required a week, but it was worth the investment of time and money. I would highly recommend A Touch of the Brush.

Jack and Victor were great. They did a great job power washing and then when the first coat of paint needed a few touch-ups after the paint absorbed unevenly it was no problem - they came back immediately to fix it and the paint job looks terrific!

The work was very involved, therefore I consulted with at least 8 different contractors, this being our first home I wanted the peace of mind that we were in fact hiring "Professional Painters" and that's exactly what we obtained through Touch of the brush painting LLC. Victor and his crew are incredibly punctual. They never missed a beat and constantly arrived at 7:30AM ready to work a full day. This was a big job, we estimated 5 days but it took 6 being that they are perfectionist. The company did not provide the cheapest bid, but I tell you there is a reason why, they only produce quality work, that takes time, effort and experience. These guys only know how to work one way "The right way" they don't cut corners and truly aren't satisfied until their clients say they are. I was nit picking every little detail and they made sure all our concerns were attended to meet our standards. Not to mention I was confident I could leave these guys at home with minimal to no supervision, and at times while my wife and kids needed to be home. Very clean, respectful and focused on their professional work. We are truly loving our home more than ever, can't wait until we have our house warming party come September. I think they did a very good job . There price was inline ..Jack is an old school guy who takes pride in his work and truly cares about making the customer happy . He did a lot of extra things that he didn't charge for . Touch of the brush painting has a well deserved good reputation . I'm sorry I didn't have them do my deck .

This company exceeded all expectations. The crew is courteous, knowledgeable and professional, in addition to being tidy during process and clean up afterwards. Jack and Victor are second to none in communication and commitment to satisfying us on all levels.
