Very professional, focused, and efficient. I had a bad experience with a prior fireplace company and was happily impressed with the way in which Royal Duct Co treated my home and me in a respectful manner.

They broke my AC system!! And don t use the right equipment! It started off good, they came fast and on time and didn t leave a mess, but I noticed after they left that my vents weren t blowing air. I contacted Royal and they never responded. When I called, the girl on the phone just said my boss has been informed and he will contact you this never happened. I had PSEG come check out the AC and they said it would cost around $200 to get someone out to fix the problem. I once again contacted Royal to inform them and once again I did not get a response. Then I finally got someone to repair the fire damper and he said they didn t even vacuum out the intake vent. When we pulled out the filter it was covered in large dust balls. Turns out they don t use the right equipment for the job. Their equipment does not whip around to possibly clean out the dust that sticks to the walls of the vents, instead they are using a vacuum hose with a spinning ball that does a poor job. This was cheap for a reason. I m still waiting on the boss to reach out! I say spend a little bit more and actually have the job done correctly or it ll cost you more in the long run.

This pro is receiving a low rating because of what happened AFTER the service. They cleaned all of my vents /ducts and there were no issues initially. However, they did not clean the vent on the roof that vented the dryer. Me not knowing this, called for dryer service. The dryer service guy was the one who told me that the vent from the dryer to the roof had not been cleaned ...and charged me a $100 diagnostic fee. I called Royal back and they came with no problem. I explained the situation and after some back and forth on my request for reimbursement for their oversight, they agreed to reimburse me for half ($50). I have been in constant contact with them since this happened in early May 2019 and I am still waiting for my reimbursement. Because of this, I will NOT recommend this pro.

We called Royal Duct Cleaning on June 4th. They gave us an immediate quote and we hired them. They came promptly as planned on June 5th. We had never had our ducts cleaned in 40 years! We live in a small ranch house in North Plainfield. They did an outstanding Job! They not only cleaned our heating and cooling ducts, but also the drier and bathroom exhaust fans. They also sent us before and after pictures to verify the work they had done. I would recommend them highly! ~ Sue Williamson
