4 minutes agoNEW-Edit Delete Stay away from this company at all costs! The charged me $373 to replace a wall switch which took them less that 1/2 hour. This is my experience... I called the Wave Electric Company on Thursday March 7, 2024 to request a service to fix a problem with a light switch in my house. The company receptionist (Kim) explained that there will be a charge of $89 to dispatch a technician to look into the problem. She also mentioned that if repair is required then there would be a time and materials charge. The technician showed up on Friday March 8, 2024 and fixed the problem (tighten a loose wire and replacing a single pole wall switch) without giving me an estimate. Neither the company receptionist nor the technician ever mentioned that there will be a diagnostic charge in the amount of $285. The technician brought the diagnostic charge to my attention after he completed the repair. The repair took him less than 1/2 hour. I disagreed with the bill and asked him to have the office call me. I then contacted the office and explained that it is outrageous to charge me $373 to fix a wall switch which took less than 1/2 hour and hence I disputed the diagnostic charge and requested a corrected bill to be sent to me so that I can pay my bill. I suggested the corrected bill should include: > Dispatch / providing repair cost fee - $89 > Repair cost (1/2 hour labor cost) > Materials (1 single pole wall switch) The Wave electric company receptionist refused to listen to my concern and she hanged up on me. I decided to pay the bill when I receive a paper bill in the mail and then file a complaint with the Monmouth Small Claims court to dispute the diagnostic charge.

Neat, clean and very knowledgeable

I was in a bind, hot summer day, AC (my google nest) unit malfunctioned and needed an electrician to look at it (cryptic error messages related to needing a common/C wire). After trying to fix myself I knew I needed help. Their dispatch was able to find James and Mike who were in the area and came by same day. James and Mike were courteous, knowledgeable, took the time to discuss options and then presented reasonably priced solutions. 10/10 would recommend wave electric and James & Mike duo again. Thank you for saving the day!!!

James an Mike were great. They fixed my outside lamppost so that I didn't need to buy a new one. They came on time and worked efficiently. I would recommend them to friends.

He arrived on time, explained everything he was going to do before he did any work, he finished very fast and rechecked everything twice to make sure it was working properly, and also asked if there was anything else I need him to check out, I would recommend this company to my friends.

Frank Johnson, the Wave Electric technician who repaired and installed our lighting fixtures that were ruined from a power surge due to a storm, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He did an excellent job. He's an all around likeable person and a credit to his employer.

I called Wave Electric before 2 pm and explained to Ron that there was no power to my furnace and thermostat. Within no time Nate was at my home ready to perform diagnostics. At all times Nate was professional and communicative to me while ascertaining what was causing the problem. Within no time Nate determined why the furnace was not getting power and he helped solve some other minor outlet issues in my garage. It was the best $338.00 dollars I spent to ensure my family was safe from any unfortunate electrical fire. I highly recommend Wave Electric and they will definitely be my first call for any future electrical projects.

I've used Wave Electric Com., LLC in the past. Their performance was great. This time Nate came out listened to what I wanted, made a few suggestions, the flattest recessed lights ever, and gave me an estimate. He returned the next business day and worked until the job was completed. He also did an excellent job of cleaning up behind his work. THANK YOU NATE! I will use them in the future if need.

George was a great guy. He did everything I asked and was clean and quick.

When we needed electrical work done before selling our home, Wave Electric Company was the first and only one to respond to our request. An appointment was made and within a few days the requested work was done. The electrician, Brad, arrived on time and finished the job promptly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Service was excellent. Customer service was great Project very expensive. Install new light switch cost $277.00.Total time to complete job about 10 mlnutes.

They were very professional and thorough. I was 100% satisfied with the work done.

Electrician ran into some problems with framing due to the location but came up with solutions and worked through it very diligently and did a great job overall. He arrived on time and was very nice and courteous despite the problems. Office staff was friendly and helpful, before the job and called the next day to check how things were. I would highly recommend Wave Electric.

My electrician George was excellent, very thorough, and went way out of his way to do a great job. He installed two electrical sockets, and brought power to an internal and external circuit, both of which were in tricky locations, and had to do some clever things to make everything work perfectly. Great company, prompt service and installation, easy appointment setup, and they were able to get someone out to my house the next day.

CAME ON TIME. EXCELLENT WORK. EXPENSIVE. UNHAPPY WITH OTHER COMPANIES, SO THE EXTRA MONEY WAS WELL SPENT.

Workmanship resulted in the repair not being done, technician is inexperience

The work they did was fine and the electrician was nice, this was a small not complicated job. However the cost was extremely high for the job. We needed the work done so we decided to proceed but I would look elsewhere next time.
