Certapro was responsive and enthusiastic, and punctual at the start of the project. But it took 3x as long as they quoted. Two bedrooms were supposed to take 1 day and ultimately took 3 days to paint. Certapro sent one guy to paint both rooms, and clearly that wasn't enough. Painting was sloppy, and they would have only done one coat had we not pointed out where coverage was inadequate. Trim was also sloppy, and we had to point out numerous spots that had to be revisited. Can't understand how this wasn't a two person job if they expected to finish two rooms, with trim, in the one day they originally quoted. UPDATED PER COMPANY RESPONSES: 1) Customer did not "request" one coat. Customer was advised that one coat would be sufficient. Turns out it wasn't. 2) Scheduling wasn't an issue. Transparency was. I told you what my schedule was. You said you could accommodate it with no mention of being short staffed. So you quoted something you couldn't deliver just to win the business. Good for you, you got the business. You just won't be getting the rest of my business. You get this review. 3) No complaints during or at end of project? Ok, please see #1. I'll grant you one point -- they were addressed. 4) "Technical Support"?? You mean telling me to "paint it white?" Which was, in fact, terrible advise. How much do you normally charge for that?
