They were great.

The response time was really impressive. I called them up in the morning and their technician arrived within a couple of hours. The investigation and the price quote process was smooth and the execution was professional. I was happy with the overall experience.

I liked everything. They gave the right price and they came on time. They installed the door properly without any problem except one of the panels was damaged and they replaced it before they left.

They’ve been around for long time and that was one of the reasons I chose them. I never saw the guy. He came and fixed it when I wasn’t home and I sent them the check.

the service went very well they arrived when they said they would, the service technician (Scot) was very friendly and knowlegable, he was polite and explained how everything worked in an easy manner, and answered any questions thoroughly and professionallyin general ,the job went just the way i wanted it toi definitely would use them again

The job was first class from start to finish: timely visit for estimate (and quick return of my phone calls), clear explanation of the estimate and work required, finding the right door (double width doors are not readily available on demand), and delivery/installation all done promptly and professionally. Although I don't want to replace the door anytime soon these guys are the first on my list for any work that may be required.

Metropolitan installed a new door in 2010 and it was no functioning properly. They came out and fixed door at no cost.

I called Metropolitan in the early morning when I found I couldn't open the garage door. I thought the problem was the door opener but over the phone they quickly diagnosed that the problem was in the springs. They were at my house in under 90 minutes and opened the door for me. (This took easily 30 minutes--it wasn't so simple.) They temporarily fixed the one broken spring but told me to leave my car outside just in case. They were back in 2 days with the springs they had ordered and they replaced both springs (maybe the pulleys as well, I don't know). This took about 2 hours. They were nice, cleaned up after themselves and I think the price was reasonable. I would surely use them again.

Their process was a little different than others. They sent a guy out to do measurements that wasn't really a salesperson, per se. They left brochures and then sent me an estimate in the mail within a couple of days. They were on time and on schedule; it was just a little longer process. Most of the other companies had a guy to give you a quote on the spot. They came in a little bit more expensive and I think their estimate was the last one to come in so buy that time we had already settled on another guy. I think their slowness hurt them a little. They seemed reasonable, nothing turned me off. The guy they sent out to do the estimate seemed knowledgeable and was prompt and courteous. I may have them quote again in the future.

I contacted Metropolitan and was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience. The sales representative was prompt and courteous. He explained all my options and did not apply any pressure to choose the more costly options. They provided an estimate at the appointment. I contacted them a few days later and within a couple of days they already had the door. Once again, they scheduled the appointment for installation at my convenience. The installer showed up exactly at 9 am. He completed the job about 3 pm after clearing away the old doors and parts.. He took the time to explain the new system and help set up the codes. I was very pleased with the services I received and would recommend the company to others.

They were pretty good but I went with another guy that gave me a better price. When I originally asked for the quote the owner was leaving on vacation but he got me the proposal about two weeks later. They gave me three different options with three different prices and I liked that. It just came down to price.

Excellent. They were very prompt, courteous, and professional. The work was done cleanly and quickly, they discussed and explained all that was involved, and assured me that they would correct any problems we might find after installation. So far there have been none.

Great, quick service and nice guys.

This was approximately a 3-week process (one day for ordering and 2 weeks later for installation). Two workmen arrived in the morning and stayed about six hours. They installed two brand new doors and a new opening system. I was glad that they took away all of the trash and left the garage cleaner than when they arrived. One of the workmen explained everything about the new system to me and showed me how everything worked. I'd recommend them (but, I'd make sure they turned down their radio. The 2 workmen who came were the noisiest workmen I'd ever met even though they did excellent work).
