Tom called to let me know if he could be early (in May) or would be 30 minutes later (in June).  In May our old wall-to-wall carpeting downstairs was stained, and I thought the hallway was beyond recovery.  But Tom was cheerful and positive, and the results were impressive.  The carpeting looked better than when we moved in 10 years ago, and much better than my "spot cleaning" in the interim.  The stains were completely gone, without any residue, and even the worst areas dried within two hours.  This was all for $109.

I was pleased to call Tom back in June to clean our Oriental rug and runners.  For the wool rug, he used softer brushes than for the olefin runners. Drying time was about 90 minutes.  Again the rugs looked first rate, for $171.

They spot treated the grout before starting and unlike most vendors, they recommended that I not move forward with one room as I would not notice a difference. My tile and grout look brand new--so bright. They spent a great amount of time pre-treating the heavy traffic areas. My 10 year old carpet also looks new. The explained everything they were doing; worn protective footies and were very professional. The asked if they could use a water source, when I responded sure--they told me they never assumed. The pricng was also excellent.

All was positive. I just wish that they had told me BEFORE I booked them, that the stairs were going to be an extra $44. Considering the price of $129 for three rooms of carpet cleaning (and I only had one room done for that price), it seemed high for 12 steps.

We used them because they had a high rating on Angie's List. We decided to try them because our rug is old, and we just had it stretched, and we were concerned about shampooing, because it may cause some damage to the rug. It was one person who came, and he arrived on time, and he went through cleaning the rug, and it looked clean after he did it. He seemed to be dependable, and did a good job. We would use them again in the future.

I was looking for a company to clean my carpets and happened to stumble upon a coupon in the local shopper. As I had never heard of the company before, I went to Angies List for help. Although this particular franchise was not listed on Angies List, the company overall had great reviews so I decided to give them a try. Well, was I happy that I did! There was NO hidden cost, no extra fees, and no one tried to upsell me on anything. The tech, Robert, was sweet and accommodating. He was a little late (not too much), but called me ahead of time to let me know he would be late and if it was still convenient for him to come. He let me know every step of the way, which room he was doing, what the trouble spots were and if I had any questions. At the end of his service, he walked around the house with me and pointed out spots on the carpet that he tried, but couldn't get out (my daughter spilled nail polish on the rug so I wasn't expecting miracles) and asked me if there were any questions/any other areas to cover. I pointed out a few spots I would like him to touch up and he did so happily and without question. Before he left, he told me it would take about another 1-2 hours for the carpets to dry, but could take a little longer for the extra treated areas. It took closer to the 3 hours for EVERYTHING to be completely dry, though most was dry within 1-1/2 hours - (Note: it was a VERY humid day but we did have the air conditioning on). The final smell is so fresh and clean and not at all chemically (word?). Now three weeks after getting the carpets done they all still look and smell great (can tell when playing with the kids on the floor) and we haven't seen a return of any of the deep seated stains.
I would highly recommend them and would use them again. The only comment I have is that they should confirm the appointment the day before. Although I had made my appointment the week and a half prior and they showed up on the appointed day/time, it would have been nice to have a confirmation call.

I called Oxy Magic for the Morris/Passaic county area on Monday about coming to clean my carpets and furniture. I have used them several times in the past. They asked when I would like to have them cleaned by. We scheduled the appointment for Two days later at 9:00 a.m. The service person, Lou, arrived a few minutes before. He came in, took his shoes off and we did a tour of the areas and furniture I wanted cleaned. He decided to do the furniture first. When he came in he put protective shoe covers over his sneakers. He was friendly and very professional and did a thorough job cleaning and moving the furniture.

Moving onto the rugs, he started in the upstairs hallway and came down the steps. This carpeting, along with the dining room and living room, is off-white in color and the stairs takes a real beating. To my eye they looked great. He proceeded onto the dark green rug that was looking worn in my family room. When he was finished, they looked new.

He moved on to the living room and dining room. There were a few tough stains in the dining room floor that are no longer there! I'm so happy about that! He then told me that he went back and did the tips of the stairs to make them even brighter. I believe that this is testimony to his professionalism. He could have just left them the way they were. But he took pride in his work. The company is lucky to have such a worker.

I had aslo asked for a estimate on restoring my wood floors. Dan came in and was great. He remembered being at my home in the past. He is also very friendly and professional. He measured the rooms and went over the different options with me about restoring the floors. We are just in the process of getting estimates and this was the first estimate, so we haven't made a decision yet. I m sure if we choose Oxy Magic we will be happy with the service.

When Lou was done cleaning, he asked me to walk through the areas with him to see if anything was missed. I asked if he needed the coupon from the Clipper Magazine, he said no but we checked to make sure that the price on the invoice was the same as the coupon. Only then did he put the remaining cleaning tools away.

I have used Oxy Magic serveral times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. I have, and will, keep referreing them to friends in the future.
